Shen Huaixiu’s expression remained calm, not sparing a glance at the ones on the ground as he turned and said, “Let’s go.”

Watching the two of them walk away, Ma Sen’s face turned pale. He had never felt so humiliated in his life. Jiang Huan, who was always invested in Shen Huaixiu’s affairs, quickly connected the dots and realized why Ma Sen had brought a gang today.
But instead of turning the tables, they ended up losing even more miserably.

“What happened to you?” Rong Shu got down quickly, his face full of concern. “Let me help!”
He hurriedly grabbed the cotton swab from Shen Huaixiu’s hand, poured some iodine solution, and began cleaning the wound.
“It’s nothing. Once it’s disinfected, it’ll heal quickly.” Alphas had strong self-healing abilities. With proper disinfection, a wound like this would be as good as new by morning.
Rong Shu glanced at him coldly. “You say that like it doesn’t hurt at all.”
Shen Huaixiu’s lips curved into a slight smile. “It doesn’t hurt much.”
Rong Shu tossed the cotton swab aside. “How did this happen? You still haven’t told me!”
He pulled out some gauze from the medical kit and quickly bandaged Shen Huaixiu’s hand.
“I just accidentally cut myself.” Shen Huaixiu finished, acting as if nothing had happened. “You should rest. I’m leaving now.”
But before he could go, Rong Shu grabbed his arm, stopping him. “Tell me the truth. Did that idiot Ma Sen cause trouble for you?”
Shen Huaixiu frowned and turned around, disapprovingly saying, “Stop using foul language!”
“So that’s what happened, huh?” Rong Shu ignored him, his dark eyes silently fixed on Shen Huaixiu.
Shen Huaixiu’s heart softened. “He came after Jiang Huan and brought ten guys. When we left, they were still lying on the ground. This cut really was just an accident.”
Listening to Shen Huaixiu’s sincere explanation, Rong Shu finally felt reassured. “It’s because of me. If it weren’t for me, you guys wouldn’t be caught up in his mess.”
“He won’t come after me again,” Shen Huaixiu replied calmly.
“How are you so sure?”
“Because he can’t beat me,” Shen Huaixiu replied, his lips curling into a smile. “You should rest. I’ll wait for you for dinner tonight.”
Without giving Rong Shu any more time to ask questions, Shen Huaixiu opened the door and left.
Rong Shu stared at the door that had just closed behind Shen Huaixiu, his dark eyes filled with a hint of menace. He climbed back into bed, pulled out his phone from under the pillow, and messaged Jiang Huan to ask about what had happened earlier that afternoon.
Once he had all the details, Rong Shu changed his clothes and left the dormitory.
Meanwhile, Ma Sen, frustrated after being humiliated when he tried to confront Shen Huaixiu, went to a pool hall near the busy streets to blow off steam. However, his mood was so bad that everything irritated him. After three rounds, he threw down his cue and headed to the restroom to splash water on his face and clear his head. Just as he entered, a shadow suddenly lunged at him, shoving him hard into the restroom. Before he could react, the door slammed shut behind him.
“You’re asking for it!” Ma Sen snarled as his nose smashed into the wall, the pain making his eyes water uncontrollably. Holding his throbbing nose, he looked up to see who had pushed him.
Rong Shu tipped his baseball cap, revealing his face. Before Ma Sen could register what was happening, Rong Shu kicked him hard.
He dragged Ma Sen up from the floor and slammed him against the restroom door. “Come after me again and I’ll beat you every time I see you.”
Rong Shu released his grip on Ma Sen’s neck and walked over to the sink to wash his hands. Gasping for breath on the floor, clutching his throat, Ma Sen suddenly let out an ugly laugh. “You’re Xu Shu, aren’t you? You’re actually the male Omega from the Rong family, aren’t you? I just smelled it again, I did!”
Hearing this, Rong Shu straightened up, turned around, and walked back toward Ma Sen, raising his foot…
When Rong Shu left the restroom, he pulled the brim of his cap lower and exited the pool hall.
Shen Huaixiu walked out of the teaching building and immediately spotted Rong Shu waiting in the shade of a tree. He wasn’t sure how long Rong Shu had been standing there, but the boy looked sleepy, yawning with a drowsy expression, his cat ears drooping tiredly.
“When did you get here?”

“We’re going to the boxing gym.”

“Why so mysterious?” Rong Shu teased, but the corners of his mouth were already curving into a smile.
Was there a surprise waiting for him?
Fifteen minutes later, Rong Shu followed Shen Huaixiu into the boxing gym. Noticing that none of the usual faces were around, Rong Shu instinctively asked, “Is Second Brother not here?”
“He’s busy these days. Take a seat, we’ll have dinner in a bit,” Shen Huaixiu said, tossing his backpack onto the sofa before turning to head further inside.
Rong Shu followed him. “We’re eating here?”
