Rong Shu took a year off from school to give birth to his babies.
When the two babies were born, one had a pair of adorable cat ears on his head, while the other sported dragon scales on his face, just like Shen Huaixiu.
In terms of gender, the two little ones inherited traits from both Rong Shu and Shen Huaixiu.
Everyone warmly welcomed the arrival of these new members.
The one with the little cat ears was the younger brother, Omega Xiao Tao, who loved to snuggle in Rong Shu’s arms and act cute.
The one with the dragon scales was the older brother, Alpha Xiao Putao, who was much more serious.
Xiao Putao would only smile when Rong Shu teased him; he remained serious and composed with everyone else.
The two little ones were tiny when they were first born, but they quickly grew bigger.
By three months old, they could already flip over.
Xiao Tao flipped over quickly on the bed, and when no one was watching, he poked Xiao Putao, making little humming sounds.
Xiao Putao didn’t cry or fuss; he just looked at him seriously, letting Xiao Tao poke at the scales on his face.
Just then, Rong Shu walked in and quickly grabbed Xiao Tao’s mischievous hand. “Tao, don’t poke your brother’s scales.”
Xiao Tao immediately made a pouty face, as if he were the one being wronged.
Rong Shu had long figured out that Xiao Tao was quite the little actor.
He had that talent himself, so he was surprised that Xiao Tao dared to show off in front of him.
He picked up Xiao Putao and kissed his little face, then turned to see Xiao Tao looking jealous, with big teary eyes, reaching out to him.
Rong Shu smiled and poked his little hand. “From now on, you’re not allowed to bully your brother, understand? Otherwise, I won’t hold you.”
After saying that, he turned to Xiao Putao. “If Tao is bullying you, just bite him. He won’t dare next time. You’re the older brother, but we don’t have a rule that the older brother must always give in to the younger one. After all, everyone has to be a brother for the first time, right, Xiao Putao?”
Xiao Putao seemed to understand, grinning and giggling.
As Shen Huaixiu entered, he saw Rong Shu sitting on the bed, holding Xiao Putao in his arms, while Xiao Tao lay nearby with teary eyes.
He immediately walked over, picked up Xiao Tao, and pinched his drooping cat ears. “What’s wrong with you?”
As soon as he asked, Xiao Tao began to cry, sniffing and looking particularly pitiful.
Rong Shu couldn’t help but laugh. “Don’t play along with him; he’s just acting. Bullying his brother and then pretending to be the victim.”
Shen Huaixiu seemed to understand the situation and smiled. “He’s still so young.”
“This kind of thing needs to be taught early on.”
Shen Huaixiu nodded. “Mm, I’ll listen to you.”
Rong Shu placed Xiao Putao on the bed and leaned in. “Have you eaten?”
“I just got back; I’ll wash up and eat soon.”
“Then hurry. Give me Tao.”
Xiao Tao was happily scooped back into his dad’s arms, immediately clapping his hands in delight.
By the time they were six months old, the features typical of beastmen gradually faded away.
They began to look more like normal human children, which was a unique trait of the Rong family.
As they grew a little older, they would be able to switch freely between beast and human forms.
Without those beast-like features, the twin traits of Tao and Putao became more apparent.
The two looked exactly alike.
One was always giggling and laughing, while the other remained serious and composed.
After Rong Shu started school, Rong An came over to help take care of the two little ones.
Every noon, Rong An would push them out in a stroller to bask in the sun. Anyone who saw them would compliment how cute they were.
Occasionally, when Rong An had something to do, Shen Huaiqiu would come over to take care of the little ones.
Surprisingly, this Alpha had a knack for looking after them.
Every time Xiao Tao saw him, he would be especially happy, while Xiao Putao, still serious, would lean in and listen attentively when Shen Huaiqiu read them storybooks.
At dinner, Rong Shu and Shen Huaixiu returned.

Shen Huaixiu glanced at him. “Mm, my kid definitely resembles me.”

Rong Shu leaned in with a grin. “Is that so? Sounds like he did a great job at it.”

He shouldn’t be so eager to seek out dog food.
“Alright, you two enjoy your meal. I’ll head back to the store.”
“Don’t you want to eat first, Second Brother?”
“No, I have other things to do.”
Once Shen Huaiqiu left, Rong Shu turned to Shen Huaixiu. “Is Second Brother busy at the store?”
“He’s been on blind dates lately; the neighbor aunt introduced him to an Omega.”
Shen Huaixiu had no qualms about exposing Shen Huaiqiu’s situation.
Rong Shu laughed. “That sounds great.”

Shen Huaixiu nodded and walked over to the room to check on the two little ones, who were nestled together in their crib.

On weekends, Rong Shu and Shen Huaixiu took the two little ones to the store to meet Shen Huaiqiu for an outing.
Recently, Shen Huaiqiu had finally succeeded in his blind date; the other party was an Omega, a doctor who looked good but had a bit of a cold demeanor.
Shen Huaiqiu really liked him.
They matched well together.
In the morning, Rong Shu carried Xiao Tao to knock on the door, only to find Tang Yi opening it. After a moment of surprise, he gently said, “You must be Rong Shu. Huaiqiu is in the kitchen; please come in.”

“Of course! Xiao Tao would love that!”
Rong Shu handed Xiao Tao over to Tang Yi, and the little one immediately wrapped his arms around Tang Yi’s neck and planted a kiss on his cheek.
Just then, Shen Huaiqiu walked over and exclaimed, “Xiao Tao, is that you?!”
Tang Yi felt a bit shy from the kiss but looked very happy.
Rong Shu poked Xiao Tao’s nose, saying, “You’re being mischievous.”
After that, he turned to Shen Huaiqiu, “Second Brother, I’ll wait for you in the car.”
“We’ll be right over.”
Rong Shu took Xiao Tao back, went outside, and got in the car.
Once they were gone, Shen Huaiqiu put his arm around Tang Yi’s shoulders and kissed his cheek, “Do you like Xiao Tao? Should we have one of our own?”
Tang Yi’s cheeks flushed as he looked up at him. Just when Shen Huaiqiu thought he wouldn’t agree, Tang Yi nodded, “Okay.”
He was simply too adorable.
