WTDWPK Chapter 5

The Terrible Punishment

After being angry for a while, Song Yu started thinking about escaping. He was a human, yet he was locked up in a cat villa—it was an absolute humiliation! No matter how luxurious this cat villa was, it was still a cage.

Fortunately, the lock wasn’t hard to open, but Song Yu’s paws were a bit chubby. He barely managed to stretch his paw out of the small bars and, after some effort, finally unlocked it.

Once he regained his freedom, Song Yu initially thought about wrecking the place, but for someone like Fu Yuqian, replacing furniture was easy. How else could a cat get revenge on someone? Maybe by making a “map” on his bed?

Though it wasn’t the most brilliant plan, the thought of Fu Yuqian lying down on the bed, horrified by the wet sensation, made Song Yu’s cat eyes narrow with mischievous glee.

After Fu Yuqian left, the smart system turned off the lights, but that didn’t hinder Song Yu’s vision at all.

In the dark, two round cat eyes gleamed with mischievous intent.

He scrambled up to the second floor, pushed open the door to Fu Yuqian’s bedroom, and with a running start, leaped onto the bed, landing safely.

Song Yu burrowed into the dark gray blanket, found the perfect spot, lifted his right hind paw, and began preparing.

Luckily, he had drunk some water earlier when he was tired from playing, so it didn’t take long for him to feel the urge.

Once the “map” was complete, Song Yu instinctively used his front paw to swipe backward, then froze in embarrassment. He quickly scrambled out of the bed, tugging the corner of the blanket with his mouth to smooth it out.

Only then did he stride out with light, elegant steps.

As he walked, he wondered why he had turned into a cat, and more importantly, why he had become Fu Yuqian’s cat. Did this cat have some special origin? And where had the original soul of the cat gone? Could it have transferred into his body?

Not being able to see his own body was making him anxious.

He also had no idea what was happening outside. Was his mother worried sick? Her health wasn’t the best to begin with.

In the vast villa, Song Yu suddenly felt a pang of sadness, lying on the ground and meowing sorrowfully.

When Fu Yuqian returned, Song Yu was still feeling down. He had planned to startle Fu Yuqian when he opened the door, but his mood was too low. When Fu Yuqian came in, Song Yu didn’t even make a fuss.

He didn’t even glance at him.

But Fu Yuqian picked him up again, saying, “I’m sorry, Yiyi, don’t be mad.”

Song Yu struggled fiercely. **Don’t touch me!**

Unexpectedly, Fu Yuqian leaned down and kissed his forehead. “Yiyi, don’t be angry anymore, okay?”

His voice was soft and gentle, especially alluring in the quiet night, but Song Yu didn’t get it at all. Instead, he instinctively raised a paw and slapped him across the face. **How dare you take advantage of me!**

However, after the slap, Song Yu grew nervous, fearing that Fu Yuqian might hit him back. Fortunately, Fu Yuqian didn’t get angry. He just gently kneaded Song Yu’s soft paw, his voice low and sorrowful. “He’s still unconscious. The doctor said it might be because he doesn’t want to wake up, but I don’t think that’s it. There must be another reason.”

“Meow!” **Exactly! Because the real me is right here in your arms!**

But he’s still in a coma? In other words, he and the orange cat haven’t swapped souls, so where did the orange cat’s soul go? He didn’t want to harm the orange cat without reason.

He couldn’t figure it out.

Song Yu flicked his tail in frustration.

Fu Yuqian put Song Yu in the cat room and went to the bathroom to shower. Song Yu quietly sneaked out, wandered into Fu Yuqian’s bedroom, and hid behind the curtains, preparing to observe Fu Yuqian’s reaction.

Not long after, Fu Yuqian came out, wearing a dark blue velvet pajama set. His hair was half-dried, casually falling over his forehead, giving him a relaxed but handsome appearance. His long, strong legs were faintly visible, with smooth lines brimming with power.

Song Yu thought he had hidden perfectly, but he overlooked the fact that he was quite a big lump. Unless Fu Yuqian was blind, there was no way he wouldn’t notice him.

After pulling Song Yu out from his hiding spot, Fu Yuqian asked, “Do you want to sleep with me?”

“Meow meow meow!” **No, no, no! I wouldn’t sleep with you, my arch-enemy!**

Every hair on Song Yu’s body screamed **rejection**.

“Then let’s sleep together,” Fu Yuqian said, placing Song Yu on the bed.

Song Yu was about to run, but he held back, wanting to see Fu Yuqian’s reaction. He sprawled on the other pillow, adopting a posture as if he were watching a show.

Fu Yuqian felt a bit puzzled and had a bad feeling, but he could never have imagined that Yiyi had swapped souls and was planning revenge for being locked in the cage.

He lifted the blanket and got into bed, intending to read for a while, but suddenly he felt something was off—his bottom felt damp.

Fu Yuqian froze, already guessing what it was.

Song Yu, having succeeded in his scheme, shook with laughter, his mouth curling up. **That’s what you get for not taking me to the hospital and locking me in a cage!**

After laughing to his heart’s content, Song Yu immediately got up, deciding it was time to escape from the crime scene. He was about to jump off the other side of the bed when Fu Yuqian, quick as lightning, grabbed him and lifted him up. Fu Yuqian also quickly got out of bed and pulled the blanket back completely.

Looking at the dark, wet spot, Fu Yuqian’s expression grew serious, on the verge of anger.

“Meow!” Song Yu grew nervous. He was afraid Fu Yuqian would hit him. **It’s your fault for bullying a cat first! I’m just getting back at you. If you hit me, I’ll scratch you for real.**

Seeing the fear in Song Yu’s eyes, Fu Yuqian felt a sudden twinge in his heart. His anger dissipated, and with a helpless, indulgent tone, he said, “You… you’re becoming more and more like him.”

Putting Song Yu down, Fu Yuqian took off his pajama top, revealing his completely naked, muscular body.

Song Yu glanced once and immediately felt like he’d gone blind.

He hurriedly lifted his paw to cover his eyes. **You pervert! Why aren’t you wearing any underwear after your shower?!**

The perfectly defined eight-pack abs, the firm, powerful waist, and the V-line disappearing into a dense patch of hair… The thing lurking there was way too big. Song Yu was stunned at first glance, even feeling a bit self-conscious. **No wonder they say he’s mixed-race. Mixed-race men are always… larger.**

Seeing Song Yu’s reaction, Fu Yuqian grew more puzzled but said nothing. Instead, he picked him up and carried him into the bathroom, locking the door behind him. “If you dare cause trouble, you must face the consequences. You’re showering with me.”

Song Yu quickly turned his back, trying not to listen to the sound of the water, but even with his back turned, the sound of the water flowing over Fu Yuqian’s body kept invading his ears. He curled up into a ball, his ears flattened in distress. **Meow! Someone save me! There’s a pervert in here!**

Fu Yuqian’s gaze stayed fixed on Song Yu.

He was now certain that Yiyi had indeed changed.

It was as if he had a completely different personality—more lively, quick to bristle, looking fierce on the outside but actually quite timid, even a bit silly. He was somewhat like Song Yu, but not entirely. After all, the real Song Yu was always tough in front of him and never once showed weakness.

**Could cats develop split personalities? Or has Yiyi really become enlightened?**

But even if Yiyi had gained some sort of sentience, it shouldn’t completely alter his personality. Fu Yuqian shifted his gaze, turned off the shower, and dried himself off, mulling over whether it was time to consult a spiritual master.

Although he’d abandoned superstitions long ago, the entertainment industry was still rife with such beliefs. Fu Yuqian had always avoided them and didn’t believe in them either, but Yiyi’s behavior made it hard for him not to reconsider. For Yiyi’s sake, he needed to consult someone.

Rubbing his temples, Fu Yuqian’s thoughts wandered. His biggest worry was still Song Yu, but thankfully, his mother would be helping on that front.

After drying off, Fu Yuqian picked up the nearly crying Song Yu and pinched the back of his neck. “Do you know what you did wrong?”

Song Yu weakly meowed in response.

**So there really is such a terrifying punishment in this world,** he thought, marking it down in his mental list. **Fu Yuqian is a total pervert who even forces a cat to shower with him.**

There were many rooms in the villa, but the master bedroom was no longer usable. Fu Yuqian had to sleep in the guest room. After changing the bedding, he still didn’t let Song Yu off the hook, drying his paws and placing him on the bed. He threatened, “You’re sleeping with me. If I catch you sneaking away, you won’t want to find out what happens.”

Song Yu froze. **Still have to sleep together?**

Fu Yuqian noticed something else: Yiyi could understand him.

Logically, realizing that his cat had somehow gained sentience should have scared him, but instead, Fu Yuqian only felt a mischievous desire to tease him more. He looked fierce, but was really just a coward. Fu Yuqian had the urge to pinch him.

Pointing to the space beside him, Fu Yuqian said, “Come here.”

Song Yu slowly, begrudgingly shuffled over.

Once he had him in his arms, Fu Yuqian squeezed Song Yu’s paw pads, then his soft belly. Song Yu felt so frustrated—he wanted to bite him but feared Fu Yuqian’s punishments. Heaven knows what kind of twisted punishment this perverted arch-enemy might come up with next.

Besides, after a long day, Song Yu was exhausted. Fu Yuqian’s body was slightly warmer than usual, his muscles firm yet comfortable.

Before long, Song Yu couldn’t resist the call of sleep and drifted off.

Fu Yuqian glanced down at him before closing his own eyes and falling asleep too.

The next morning, Song Yu woke up, feeling like something was poking him, and it was a bit damp. Still groggy, he absentmindedly reached out to bat it away, only to hear a low, magnetic “Mm.”

He suddenly realized what was happening and jumped up in shock, retreating quickly and taking the blanket with him, exposing Fu Yuqian’s “thing” to the bright morning light.

**What the heck?! It’s huge, like a donkey’s!**

**Ahhh, my eyes! My hands!**

Song Yu frantically rubbed the paw that had touched it against the bed sheets, wishing he could scrub the skin off, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t erase the burning sensation.

Fu Yuqian woke up and, seeing Song Yu’s reaction, let out a deep, sexy chuckle. “Yiyi, what are you so scared of? Haven’t you ever had this kind of reaction yourself?”

Song Yu felt like his world was ending. **I can’t live like this anymore. There’s no way I can survive a day in Fu Yuqian’s hands.**

Fu Yuqian pulled the blanket back over himself, ignoring the tent still standing, and looked at Song Yu. “Yiyi, why have you changed so much? If it weren’t too unbelievable, I’d almost suspect you’ve turned into a human.”
