Of course, this was only Wu Ruo’s guess.
Hei Xuanyi saw that Wu Ruo was quiet, so he spoke up and asked: “What are you thinking of?”
Wu Ruo held Hei Xuanyi’s hand: “I was too careless today.”

With the da prefix, it can refer to a main courtyard of the entire estate, which was why back in Gaoling City, I referred to them as the main estates with the cardinal directions. In this case, I think it refers to the overall area that is owned by Wu Yanli’s family, which might not be a main courtyard within the entire Huangdu City Wu estate, so I haven’t translated it as a ‘main’ courtyard. In this setting, the houses are built in the siheyuan style, which you can check out here. Many large families have several courtyards, as in the example picture, linked together to make up one huge estate. awake.
