Because in this section of the road, in this car, what he experienced and what he had to do didn’t matter. What matters is only the here and now.
Sun Yan stopped at a random place, unfastened the seat belt with one hand, stretched out his hand and pressed the back of Yan Hai’an’s head. He kissed him fiercely.
Yan Haian’s pupils shrank. His brain was still rumbling. He closed his eyes and kissed back. Adrenaline burns them both, from the inside out. It is more dizzying than getting drunk, more addictive than nicotine. It is enough to do anything under its spell to prolong its pleasure.
The dimly lit car was filled with the two men’s deep breathing and occasional panting. Even if the seat was put down, the space was still cramped. Yan Hai’an was pressed under Sun Yan’s body and he felt a sense of being tightly restrained. They unbuttoned each other’s pants as if they were fighting and the sound of metal colliding when the belt was unbuttoned made their intentions very obvious.
