Mrs. Xing was a little excited and said, “Tongtong, is there a baby?”

Mr. Xing rubbed his hands as he said, “This is really great, I will have a little granddaughter.”

After finishing speaking, he added, ” A grandson is good, a grandson is also good.”

The couple were happy for a long time, but they saw that Xing Lixuan and Yu Antong, the two fathers, were still shocked silent. Finally, they realized that something was wrong.

Mrs. Xing looked at the broken glass on the ground, and asked tentatively, “You don’t want… to have children?”

Before the old lady passed away, Xing Lixuan was by her side to take care of her. So it was rational for his parents to think that she would tell the reason why she forced him to marry Yu Antong. But unexpectedly, the old lady didn’t mention it at all.

A thought flashed in Mrs. Xing’s mind. “Tongtong, don’t you know that you can get pregnant?”

Yu Antong shook his head blankly, now the CPU in his brain was melting, making him frozen without a thought. 

‘How could it be? The original work didn’t mention any mpreg elements…’ 

The thing is, he had this guess a while ago, leading him to buy a pregnancy test himself. At that time, the test came out negative. Who would’ve known that he would actually got pregnant after that test… 

This can be regarded as his fault, or Xing Lixuan’s fault.

Yu Antong tried his best to grasp the last chance to prove that he could not be pregnant.

Mrs. Xing understood his complicated mood. So she suggested, “We’ll go to the hospital for an examination right now. It’s a good thing if you’re really pregnant. But if you’re sick instead, it’s also a good thing to not delay treatment.”

Don’t argue with him about the right or the wrong. As your wife, he probably just wants extra attention from you, especially if he’s pregnant and riddled with hormones.” 

“Dad, you are very experienced,” Xing Lixuan looked at his father and said, “So… this means… Mom is often unreasonable and demanding in front of you?

Glancing upstairs, Mr. Xing made sure he was safe before answering, “I didn’t say that. How could your mother, who is so educated and reasonable, make trouble for no reason?”

Xing Lixuan gave his father a disbelieving look, and went upstairs.

Before this, Yu Antong was so sleepy that he couldn’t keep his eyes open, but the moment he heard the door open, his sleepiness vanished immediately. He bolted out from his position, sitting straight on the bed. 

Xing Lixuan walked in and sat beside him. After the two of them were silent for a while, Xing Lixuan finally spoke first. 

“—I don’t agree to divorce.” 

Yu Antong looked at him, his expression suggesting that he didn’t fully believe him, “Why? You don’t like me.”

In Yu Antong’s mind, it was Xing Lixuan who originally firmly insisted that they will divorce in half a year. But now, why did he act as if he was afraid of the original agreement? 

Xing Lixuan thought it was because he didn’t admit that he liked Yu Antong – so in other words, it was still his fault. He moved closer to Yu Antong, hugged him, and said in a muffled voice, “I lied to you just now. I like you, so don’t mention divorce anymore.”

Yu Antong reacted for a few seconds before realizing that it was because he asked Xing Lixuan if he liked him before asking for divorce, which caused Xing Lixuan’s misunderstanding.

But that’s such a fast change of opinion, wasn’t it? Just now he said he was dreaming, but now turned around and said that he likes You Antong. 

Yu Antong curled his lips and pushed him away, muttering, “You don’t have to say you like me because of the child. Besides, I’m not sure if I’m really pregnant or not.” 

“What are you thinking?” Communication is really important, and Xing Lixuan insisted that no such misunderstanding will ever occur again. With more conviction, he continued, “I know from the start that I’m gay. I’ve already accepted that I will not have a biological child because of that. “Yu Antong, I like you.” 

“Baby,” Xing Lixuan held Yu Antong’s cheeks, slowly and carefully kissed him, “Please don’t talk about divorce again.”

Yu Antong always made a fuss for Xing Lixuan to call him baby, but Xing Lixuan was either impatient or perfunctory, and he rarely said it in such an affectionate manner.

Yu Antong still wanted to be coaxed. He was always frank and straightforward in his request. But this time, he decided to play coy. “You like me, so we are not allowed to divorce? It’s a good idea, but I don’t like you, so I don’t want you to have the final say alone. Let’s divorce.”

Xing Lixuan said in a serious manner: “You really think so?”

Yu Antong replied, “Actually, I still like you a little bit. If you don’t want a divorce, then chase me. Do it with action. I like it better than just words.” 

–Plus, in Yu Antong’s mind, Xing Lixuan really was a fine specimen to spend the rest of his life with. 

Xing Lixuan stared at him, and suddenly realized that Yu Antong really didn’t seem hell-bent on divorce as he originally thought. Otherwise, he would not have so easily given him a chance. 

“If you don’t want to chase me, then forget it,” Yu Antong saw that Xing Lixuan didn’t speak, so he continued with his demand, “I will divorce you, then I can gorge myself with all kinds of fresh meats¹young, fresh faced people. Well, since this is Yu Antong’s gay ass, so definitely a boy. Probably those pure! Male! College! Student! and little wolf-dogs²the bad boy type who’s very loyal to you.. Xing Lixuan couldn’t bear hearing this bullshit, so he shut him up with a forceful kiss. He didn’t let go of Yu Antong until the younger man limped softly in his embrace after giving up struggling. 

After the long kiss, Yu Antong thumped him in the chest delicately, speaking in half-truths. “I don’t even have any strength left.”

Xing Lixuan snorted coldly, “And you still want to find fresh meat every day?”

After this much excitement in a day, Yu Antong was bound to get sleepy. He didn’t answer his husband’s rhetorical question, and instead raised his head to say, “My dear husband, I want to sleep.”

Xing Lixuan kissed him on the forehead and said, “Tell me you like me, and I will let you sleep after saying that.”

Xing Lixuan also laid down next to him, but he didn’t feel sleepy. After all, after hearing the wife he likes asking for a divorce out-of-nowhere, he wasn’t in the mood to sleep.

If the result of the examination tomorrow says that I’m really pregnant then… what do you think? I’m still confused on how I could get pregnant in the first place…” 

The older man actually started to doze off. After being poked by this annoyance, his mood became worse.

‘If he really has a baby?’

‘Then it would be nice if we really have a child together.’ 

Xing Lixuan never thought that one day he would try to tie someone to him with a child like some of those stupid women he heard about. 

Yu Antong couldn’t wait for a response, so he said again, “I’m asking you something. Did you fall asleep so soon?”

“I want our baby. Of course, I respect your wishes.”

Yu Antong didn’t know how to deal with such an answer. “Don’t you find it strange that I, a man, can have children? I can’t believe it myself.” 

Xing Lixuan thought, ‘I don’t care. I’m happy either way.’ 

In fact, he was still surprised, but when he thought of Yu Antong being able to give birth to their child, he suddenly felt that it was a huge gift and surprise. This kind of joy covered up all other emotions.

In fact, what he just said about respecting Yu Antong was not fully the truth. He really badly wanted Yu Antong to keep this child. If he said otherwise… he probably would try to coax him, at the least. 

Xing Lixuan comforted Yu Antong, saying, “Isn’t there often news about men giving birth? You are not a special case, so you don’t need to have a psychological burden.” 

Yu Antong asked, “Is it very often? Why haven’t I seen such news?”

“…”

Dodging the question, Xing Lixuan instead said, “What time is it? It’s too late, let’s go to sleep. We have to wake early for tomorrow’s check-up. Don’t think too much, okay? Go to sleep, baby.”
