Zhou Zhou focused on silently transcribing. He then handed the paper to Cheng Che, saying, “I’ve finished transcribing. But I seem to have forgotten a few points. I’ll review them later.”
“Alright,” Cheng Che pushed the questions he had prepared toward him. “Let’s work on these questions.”
Having just completed the transcription, the memories were still fresh. With Cheng Che’s targeted questions, Zhou Zhou quickly finished them. Cheng Che had also circled some small errors in his transcription. They exchanged papers and Zhou Zhou continued to check and correct his mistakes while Cheng Che helped grade the questions.
Zhou Zhou felt he had memorised enough. So his patience was wearing thin. He reached for a packet of cookies and slowly but firmly tore open the packaging.
Cheng Che didn’t even glance at him and said, “You don’t need to be so careful.”
Zhou Zhou chuckled. He then boldly tore the packaging open. After a moment’s thought, he picked up a piece shaped like a little bear and offered it to Cheng Che, “Would you like some?”
Cheng Che turned his head slightly and glanced at it, saying, “No, thanks.”
“Alright.” Zhou Zhou put the cookie in his own mouth and then picked up another piece.
“Oh, they are different little animals.” Zhou Zhou couldn’t stop himself from talking as he continued to unpack the package and said to himself, “A little monkey, a little chicken, a little pig…”
While describing various different animals, he kept stuffing them into his mouth.
“A little horse, a little puppy…”
“Give me one.”
“Huh?” Zhou Zhou was about to put the piece shaped like a little puppy into his mouth when he heard Cheng Che’s words. He abruptly stopped with the piece in his hand.
“I want the one shaped like a little puppy,” Cheng Che said without looking up.
Zhou Zhou recalled the two little puppies that had been popular among the students and were adopted by a teacher before last year’s winter vacation.
He’s really fond of puppies! Zhou Zhou realised. He didn’t expect Cheng Che to be more sentimental than he had imagined.
“Sure. Here you go.” Zhou Zhou handed it over. “Wait a moment. Let me see if there are more of those shaped like little puppies.”
Cheng Che reached out to take the little puppy-shaped cookie and bit into it. After a few bites, he said, “I’m fine with ones shaped like little cats too.”
Zhou Zhou paused for a moment and then nodded, “Okay. I’ll give you both little cats and little puppies.”
“Alright,” Cheng Che replied with a nod. He then continued to grade chemistry questions.
Childish, cute, kind, gentle, patient, and intelligent.
Zhou Zhou summed up Cheng Che’s qualities and then glanced at Cheng Che’s legs, feeling even more eager to sit on his laps.

Cheng Che explained some of the questions to Zhou Zhou and quizzed him on a few knowledge points that Zhou Zhou had missed. As the tutoring was about to end, Zhou Zhou casually asked, “Do you want to have dinner together?”
“I’ve taken leave for the evening self-study and I got some things to attend to. I’ll be leaving after class,” Cheng Che replied.
“Alright.” Zhou Zhou didn’t have high hopes that Cheng Che would have dinner with him in the first place. Now that Cheng Che had given a reason, he didn’t feel disappointed at all.
With about seven or eight minutes left until the end of the tutoring session, Zhou Zhou chewed on his cookies while sneakily glancing at Cheng Che. Cheng Che had his head down, looking at his book. The side of his face was softly illuminated by the light from outside the window, giving off a calm and gentle vibe.
However, Zhou Zhou couldn’t stay calm.
He thought he sounded casual but realised it might have come across as deliberate since he cleared his throat. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Was there something I didn’t explain clearly earlier?” Cheng Che put down his pen and looked at him.
“No…” Zhou Zhou sighed, thinking that a top student’s mind was always focused on studying.
“Exactly, let’s talk about something else. You look tired after a whole class. How about we relax a bit?” Cheng Che stared at him without saying anything.
Zhou Zhou didn’t dare to maintain eye contact with him for too long. So he turned his head and looked at the cookies in his hand, asking casually, “What kind of Omega do you like?”
Cheng Che took his gaze away from Zhou Zhou’s side profile and continued to read, “Honest ones.”
Oh no.
Zhou Zhou remembered the colossal lie about being an Alpha. He felt that there was no way to salvage this situation.
He felt like he could see a fork in the road, with Cheng Che and himself going in different directions.
“Just that requirement?” Zhou Zhou asked hopefully, “Honesty is enough?”
“No,” Cheng Che closed his book and started packing up. He said, “Intelligent, kind, lively, sincere, sensible, gentle…”
Zhou Zhou listened in a daze, trying to fit those qualities onto himself, but it seemed like there weren’t many that actually applied. Cheng Che continued to list them off calmly and Zhou Zhou suddenly felt a bit desperate.
“Please stop…” Zhou Zhou drooped his head. “There are so many qualities. How could anyone possess all of them at once?”
“So,” Cheng Che finished packing up and stood up, looking down at Zhou Zhou’s furry head. He said, “What kind of Omega I like doesn’t matter. What matters is what kind of person the person I like is.”

Zhou Zhou followed behind Cheng Che with his books and the unfinished snacks, thinking about Cheng Che’s words the whole way.
He seemed to understand now. Cheng Che’s point was that even though there could be countless frameworks and requirements in one’s mind, when you meet a specific person, all constraints are broken. You will establish a unique standard based on the person who captivates your heart.
Yes, what’s the use of an ideal type? When true love comes, the person walking into your life becomes the ultimate and eternal rule in your heart.
Zhou Zhou stopped in his tracks.
Cheng Che noticed and turned around. His dark and cool gaze fixed on Zhou Zhou’s face. He said, “Come on. It’s almost the end of class.”
Zhou Zhou nodded, clutching his books and snacks tightly in his arms. He then walked toward Cheng Che, gradually catching up to his pace.

@ZZZZZhou:I still don’t know what kind of Omega he likes… but I feel like I’m quite qualified! As long as I’m a bit more obedient and well-behaved in front of him, he definitely won’t dislike me! I’m the cutest in the world (self-hypnosis).
