Chapter 129.2

Wen Chi pursed his lips with an ugly face. He visually inspected the stone door and came to the conclusion that it was not something that could be pushed open by his own strength alone and he immediately became  a bit discouraged.

But soon he cheered up again. He remembered that when Hua Zi Zang came in, he seemed to press a switch somewhere to open the stone door. Maybe there was also a switch to open the stone door from the inside.

He withdrew his gaze and fell back on Hua Zi Zang whose eyes were tightly closed.

He once fought against Hua Zi Zang in the villa. He knew that Hua Zi Zang’s martial arts were not high, but he was proficient in concealed weapons. If he fought with Hua Zi Zang, he might not necessarily be able to last through four or five moves from Hua Zi Zang’s.

But he doesn’t necessarily have to distinguish the winner or loser between him and  Hua Zi Zang, as long as he can escape within four or five moves while the stone gate is open

Many thoughts flashed through Wen Chi’s mind, his fists were gradually clenched, but in the end, they slowly loosened.

He raised his hand to caress his abdomen.

There’s a little life brewing here and he has to think twice.

In the end, Wen Chi gave up struggling, he found a corner and sat down, leaning the back of his head against the wall. When he relaxed a little, he felt a huge sense of exhaustion covering him like a net.

He tilted his head and lost consciousness after a while.

After an unknown amount of time, Wen Chi woke up with a feeling of suffocation, as if someone had put a wet tissue on his face. He tried to open his mouth to breathe, and suddenly woke up from the vague nightmare.

He looked around and found that he was still in a closed room, still sitting in a corner where the candlelight couldn’t reach him.

It’s just that there is no Hua Zi Zang in the room.

Wen Chi supported the wall and stood up, the suffocation did not disappear but aggravated a little under his movements.

Accompanied by waves of suffocation, he felt like retching again.

At first Wen Chi thought that Hua Zi Zang had drugged him while he was asleep, so he took two steps while leaning on the wall before realizing that the room lacked oxygen, so he had to change direction and walk towards the stone gate.

Although the stone door was closed tightly, there was still a small amount of fresh air flowing in from the thumb-wide gap under the stone door. Wen Chi ignored the embarrassment and lay down on the ground, turning his face to the gap, trying to breathe fresh air.

Just then, there were sound of footsteps outside.

The footsteps were very light, yet they were still captured by Wen Chi who was almost pressed against the stone door.

Wen Chi got up from the ground, wanting to find a hidden corner to see how Hua Zi Zang walked in and closed the stone door, but in the end, before he had time to find a place, he heard a childish voice faintly coming from outside the stone door.

“Who’s in there?”

Wen Chi froze, he suspected that there was something wrong with his ears.

A little boy?

How could there be a little boy here?

Just when Wen Chi thought he heard it wrong, that childish voice sounded again: “Who’s in there?”

He hadn’t heard wrong!

Wen Chi never dreamed that he would hear someone other than Hua Zi Zang talking in this kind of place, and the other party seemed to be a young boy!

After his surprise, he quickly calmed down again.

Wen Chi squatted down and shouted towards the gap under the stone door: “Who are you?”

Soon, the little boy imitated him and said, “Who are you?”

Wen Chi said, “I’m asking you.”

The little boy followed closely: “I’m asking you too.”

Wen Chi didn’t know who the little boy was and didn’t know whether the little boy and Hua Zi Zang were in the same team. So he didn’t dare to reveal his identity easily, but the little boy was smart and knew how to play around with him.

So Wen Chi changed the phrase: “Why are you here child? Where are your parents? Aren’t you going home?”

The little boy was silent for a long time before he said, “I have no home.”

Wen Chi vaguely guessed the little boy’s identity and he felt that the little boy’s voice was somewhat familiar. If he remembered correctly, he should have seen this little boy somewhere.

“Do you know how to get out?” Wen Chi didn’t have the confidence to persuade the little boy but he still wanted to try, “If you let me out, and I will intercede for you for His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.”

After listening to his words, the little boy actually laughed out loud: “The human panacea can’t wait for Hua’s family members to die, how will you plead for me?”

Human Panacea.

This familiar name…

Sure enough, it was the little boy he met when he sneaked into Hua Mansion!

But Hua Zi Zang was already in such a difficult situation now, why did he still bring the little boy with him?

Wen Chi was puzzled and the current situation did not allow him to think too much. He pressed to the stone gate just like before and said to the little boy: “As long as you let me go, I promise you, I will definitely save your life and I can persuade Shi Ye to pave the way for your future life.”

The little boy didn’t speak.

Wen Chi took advantage of the silence and pursued: “Do you think you can get away with locking me up like this? Your whereabouts will be revealed one day and then you can only use me to threaten Shi Ye. If I die or Shi Ye doesn’t take the bait, you are nothing more than fish on a chopping board and the fate of being slaughtered and actively surrendering will be the same as that of a heaven and earth.”

Wen Chi’s mouth was parched, coupled with the lack of oxygen in the secret room, his breathing became more and more difficult and his forehead was covered with cold sweat.

Unfortunately, the little boy remained indifferent.

Wen Chi tapped on the stone door.

The little boy suddenly said: “But I don’t know where the switch is, so I can’t release you.”

Wen Chi was stunned for a moment, thinking that Hua Zi Zang not only took the little boy by his side, but also didn’t take much precaution against him. How could the little boy not know where the switch was?

He wanted to say something but he heard the little boy say “He’s back” quickly, followed by the sound of footsteps running away and the surrounding returned to silence again.

Wen Chi reacted and hurriedly found a place to hide.

Not long after, the stone door opened slowly and Hua Zi Zang walked in from outside with a cold face.

Wen Chi stared straight at the wide open stone door, struggled for a moment, but still didn’t have the courage to rush out. He touched his abdomen and sighed in his heart.

After Hua Zi Zang walked in, the stone door closed automatically.

From a short distance, Wen Chi smelled the faint smell of blood wafting from Hua Zi Zang’s body. He frowned and wanted to retch again, so he quickly covered his mouth with his hand.

Hua Zizang looked around the room but he didn’t find Wen Chi’s figure. His whole face sank and he quickened his pace and walked inside, and in a short while he found Wen Chi who was standing motionless like a wooden man in a dark corner behind one of the shelves.

Wen Chi protected his abdomen with both hands and they stared at each other for a long time and finally Wen Chi slowly moved out from behind the shelves in a manner of conceding defeat.

Hua Zi Zang’s brows lingered with an unconcealed irritation and anxiety. He coldly glanced at Wen Chi, he seemed to have no energy to care about Wen Chi’s hide-and-seek behavior with him and threw the things in his hand onto the stone table.

Wen Chi remained silent, burying his head in his chest.

Hua Zi Zang didn’t hear Wen Chi moving for a long time, he turned around and saw Wen Chi was still in place, staring at him with wary almond eyes like a thief. Suddenly, an indescribable frustration arose in his heart.

He suddenly regretted focusing on Wen Chi. Although he successfully kidnapped Wen Chi, he lost a lot of things at the same time and he still couldn’t contact that person.

He felt that many things were going downhill. Only the matter of him kidnapping Wen Chi went extremely smoothly…

He always feels that something was wrong.

But he couldn’t tell what was wrong for a while.

Hua Zi Zang’s head was in a mess and his head hurt from thinking about it. He shook his head and when he came to his senses, he found that Wen Chi was still keeping a certain distance from him. For some reason, he suddenly became angry: “Come here!”

Wen Chi’s face was full of reluctance but he still moved slowly at the speed of a tortoise and stopped when he moved to the stone table.

Hua Zi Zang glanced at Wen Chi’s face that was blue from being suffocated in the thin air and then at the abdomen that Wen Chi intentionally protected. Then chuckled with disdain in his eyes: “I never thought that one day, that person would even have a child.”

When Wen Chi heard this, his eyes became even more vigilant.

Hua Zi Zang didn’t care how Wen Chi looked at him, so he sat on the stone bench, reached out to pick up the teapot and poured himself a cup of cold water.

“Don’t worry, I still hope to use you as bait to attract Shi Ye’s, the big fish. So I won’t do anything to you for the time being.” Hua Zi Zang drank the water in the cup, put down the teacup and his voice sank suddenly, “But as for what will happen to your child in the future, I can’t guarantee it.”

Hearing what Hua Zi Zang said, Wen Chi felt chills all over his body, as if someone had poured a basin of cold water from head to toe and it took him a long time to find his voice: “What exactly do you want?”

Hua Zi Zang glanced at Wen Chi’s abdomen and laughed again. He used to be very good-looking, gentle and elegant. but now he has lost a lot of weight, tired and woeful, the bottom of his eyes was full of hidden darkness and coldness. It was like staying on a branch at night silently staring at all the crows below. When he laughed, it made Wen Chi feel extremely uncomfortable.

Wen Chi noticed Hua Zi Zang’s eyes falling on his lower abdomen and he subconsciously turned away.

When he turned back, he found that Hua Zi Zang had silently stood up from the stone bench at some point. He approached Wen Chi step by step and said in a deep voice, “Not only do I want him to die, I also want your child to die. That kind of monster should not have been living in this world!”

Wen Chi was forced to retreat step by step until his back touched the wall. He clasped his abdomen with both hands and looked up at Hua Zi Zang who was taller than him: “Your Hua family didn’t treat him as a human being, so why should you ask him to treat your Hua family as his closest relatives? Moreover, there are still some of you who poisoned him! He was only in his teens at the time and had been wandering around for about ten years, so after you found him, you poisoned him and sent him to the palace as a puppet to be manipulated! After Wen Chi finished speaking such a long speech in one breath, due to lack of oxygen, his face turned pale. His chest was filled with fire and his body trembled slightly with anger.
