Jin Wuqi suggested taking Yu Yang out for breakfast. But it turned into a whole-day affair as soon as they started eating.

Yu Yang was coerced by Jin Wuqi to accompany him for shopping, having tea, and watching a movie. As the night approached and Jin Wuqi was about to take Yu Yang on a yacht, Yu Yang finally expressed his unwillingness.

“Mr. Jin,” Yu Yang stood by the car, looking at Jin Wuqi, “I’m in my third year of high school. I don’t have time to accompany you for these boring activities. Could you please find someone else?”

Jin Wuqi shrugged, “Is it boring for you? I’m sorry. I thought you would enjoy this kind of relaxing activity.”

“I can’t relax around strangers,” Yu Yang turned away. He seemed unable to speak too explicitly while looking into Jin Wuqi’s eyes. “I don’t know what you mean by doing this. But I hope we can keep things strictly professional. Let’s settle the compensation. And there’s no need for further contact.”

“Indeed, being young makes you straightforward with your words,” Jin Wuqi still smiled at him. He leaned his arm on the car door, tilted his head and rested his face on his arm. He stared intently at Yu Yang’s profile. “So, am I making you hate me by doing this?”

Even with just a sidelong glance, Yu Yang could feel Jin Wuqi’s enchanting gaze. He was even more beautiful than the lights reflected on the water’s surface.

“No answer?” Jin Wuqi lazily smiled. “Let me rephrase it. Do you not have even the slightest feeling toward me?”

The Damascus rose pheromones drifted into Yu Yang’s breath with the late night spring breeze. After a whole day, he had become quite familiar with this fragrance and felt neither bored nor resistant to it. His discontent stemmed not from Jin Wuqi taking him around. But rather, it came from Yu Yang’s inability to comprehend Jin Wuqi’s intentions. Jin Wuqi’s affections seemed casual to him. Yu Yang felt like he was just a passing amusement for Jin Wuqi.

“We’ve only met twice. What feelings are there to talk about?” Yu Yang’s Adam’s apple moved slightly. “I’m not like you.”

“How about we meet more in the future?” Jin Wuqi straightened up and leaned towards Yu Yang. He then lightly touched Yu Yang’s Adam’s apple with his fingers. “Don’t worry. I won’t disturb you the whole day like today. Occasionally having a meal and enjoying the scenery should leave you with some time, right? Don’t be in a hurry to reject me. Let’s spend more time together, hmm?”

A tingling sensation crept up Yu Yang’s Adam’s apple. Jin Wuqi’s voice and pheromones were like a mesmerising drug. The ending note sounded slightly coquettish and pleasing. That “hmm” completely left Yu Yang bewildered.

The level of being seduced was truly high.

Yu Yang awkwardly removed Jin Wuqi’s hand. His fair face visibly blushed even in the dim light. “Just talk. Stop touching me.”

“Why were you holding my hand then?” Jin Wuqi lightly chuckled. “How does it feel to hold it?”

The feel was indeed good—soft, smooth, and fragrant.

Yu Yang uncomfortably let go of Jin Wuqi’s hand and said, “I need to go back home.”

“Get in the car. I’ll drive you back.”

The car made its way into the residential area and stopped downstairs. Jin Wuqi and Yu Yang got out of the car together.

The streetlight shone brightly above as Yu Yang and Jin Wuqi stood facing each other. Yu Yang looked at a red warning pillar behind Jin Wuqi and hurriedly said, “Goodbye.”

“Why do you always avoid looking at me when you talk?” Jin Wuqi took a step closer to Yu Yang as he lowered his voice. “Feeling shy?”

“Who’s feeling shy?” Yu Yang shifted his gaze to Jin Wuqi’s face. “I’m an alpha. What’s there to be shy about?”

“Who says alphas can’t be shy?” Jin Wuqi reached out and lightly tugged at Yu Yang’s outer jacket collar. He used his index finger to gently trace the exposed, slender collarbone visible beneath the T-shirt. His touch was teasing. He softly said as he blew his breath on Yu Yang, “Moreover, I like you just the way you are.”

He raised his eyes, meeting Yu Yang’s gaze that carried an enigmatic yet somewhat dangerous look. He was like a wolf cub who was about to bite in the next moment.

Thinking that Yu Yang was upset, Jin Wuqi retracted his hand and looked at him innocently, “Are you upset? I was planning to bid you farewell with a kiss. I didn’t expect you to get mad over a touch. In that case, I’ll leave…”

The words had barely fallen before Yu Yang, with a cold expression, embraced Jin Wuqi tightly. He turned him around and pressed him against the car as he lowered his head and passionately kissed him.

The scent of lemon and roses intertwined, carrying a fresh soda-like fragrance. It was like the fizzy carbonated bubbles bursting out when you open a bottle cap. It was out of control. Yu Yang, unsure of what to do, fiercely bit Jin Wuqi’s lips. It forcefully pried open his teeth, entwining their tongues. His hand on Jin Wuqi’s waist tightened gradually. It was as if he wanted to snap Jin Wuqi’s slender and soft waist with the palm of his hand.

Jin Wuqi was stunned for only a few seconds before he laughed. He put his hands around Yu Yang’s neck and tilted his head slightly to meet his rough and rapid kiss. He let out intermittent small moans from his nose, as if he was bitten in pain. But with a hint of pain, the meaning was that of sharing enjoyment.

His moans stimulated Yu Yang, who suddenly raised his head and looked at Jin Wuqi while panting with bloodshot eyes.

“Just do it if you’re so horny.” Yu Yang said harshly.

Jin Wuqi smiled and licked his wet and swollen lips. He then leaned forward and kissed Yu Yang on the corner of his mouth, whispering against his lips: “I admit it. You alphas are really fierce.”

Yu Yang’s breath stagnated. He let go and took Jin Wuqi’s hands off of his neck. He gasped slightly and his face was flushed red. He seemed to have suddenly lost all of his fierceness just now and felt a little uncomfortable. He got up, whispered goodbye quickly and ran off into the unit building with his long legs. He did not even dare to look back.

Jin Wuqi looked at him escaping. He smiled as he cursed: “You little beast, running away after having a piece of me.”

*Translator’s Note: What does Damascus rose smell like? Out of my own curiosity, I googled it. Here’s the answer: “Its scent is very flowery and slightly sweet. It is the rose we use for the most feminine perfumes, which smell like makeup powder and clean linen. Depending on the soil, it can be lemony, spicy, or fruity”. I include the photo of the rose below. When I looked at the picture, I remember seeing this kind of rose before. It does smell sweet but not as intense as normal rose. My aunt used to grow them in her front yard. -K
