“I’m going hunting!” Chen Xiao Mi rose to his feet.

Chen Xiao Cai nodded: “Good luck, big brother, don’t worry about us, I will take good care of Xiao Mai, and I will keep an eye on this guy!”

Chen Xiao Cai looked so gentle when he mentioned Chen Xiao Mai, but he became so ferocious when he glanced at Lu Lin.

Chen Xiao Cai’s face softened as he saw Lu Lin showing a good attitude.

Chen Xiao Cai served Lu Lin a bowl of coarse rice porridge: “We don’t feed the cripples in this family, you better get well soon and do some work so that we can survive the winter together, we need to store more crops before winter comes.”

Chen Xiao Cai became anxious thinking about winter, there was one more mouth to feed now, and that meant that this winter would become even more challenging.

With that thought, Chen Xiao Cai became dissatisfied. He kept thinking of the ten taels of silver that Chen Xiao Mi had spent on Lu Lin, ten taels of silver was more than enough for the winter.

Chen Xiao Cai thought he would ask Lu Lin to go hunting with his eldest brother or go find a job in the city, he couldn’t bear the thought of Lu Lin eating leisurely without work.

Lu Lin sneaked into the convenience store after Chen Xiao Cai left the room, he picked up some chocolate milk and gulped it down.

‘My family wants to get rid of me, and my partner doesn’t care about me, I better take care of myself if I want to survive in this time and space!‘ Lu Lin thought.
