Wen Yan didn’t ask any more questions; the two got up and freshened up.

After last night, the atmosphere between them became even more intimate. Wen Xueli personally changed his clothes and even carried him to the bathroom.

Wen Yan felt like he was in a honey jar; no one had ever cared for him so meticulously. Although his grandparents were good to him, they were usually busy earning a living, and they didn’t have the time and energy to be so attentive to him.

How could he not want to? It was just too sudden, making it hard for him to react.

Wen Xueli smiled, “No rush, at least wait until you’re on winter break to come to Hongcheng.”

Wen Yan took a sip of the warm and sweet tea, listening to the man discuss the winter break plans.

When he returned to Hongcheng during the break, the plan was to first pay respects to Grandpa Wen, meet with the Wen family, and then set a date for the engagement banquet.
