HD Chapter 26

Senior

Xu Zhi is very afraid of heat. As long as he is at home, the air conditioner must be turned to the lowest setting. But this summer, no matter how hot or windy, Xu Zhi will go downstairs and walk with Zhou Mu.

Sometimes he would bring Zhou Mu a can of ice cola, and sometimes Zhou Mu would bring him a bottle of Luo Xue Mu1a skin care product.

Zhou Mu said that the flower language of Luo Xue Mu is love at first sight.

Xu Zhi doesn’t know how long Zhou Mu’s affection will last, but he feels that he might be a bit moved.

Until winter, when the temperature was no longer so high and became colder, Xu Zhi was still upstairs, waiting for Zhou Mu to call him to come down.

Except for the bad weather, there was only one occasion when the two of them did not take a walk together.

It was the time Xu Zhi was forced to attend the class party after the final exam.

Xu Zhi has always resisted making friends, adhering to the principle of communicating less and causing less trouble. He rarely talks in class and does not take the initiative to make friends.

Xu Zhi’s class monitor is an overly enthusiastic senior boy. According to him, it’s the first time he’s held a position in the class, so he is determined to make a significant impact.

The class monitor enthusiastically immersed himself in class activities. After the final exams, he successfully convinced two other liberal arts classes and another science class to organize a grand joint gathering.

Initially, Xu Zhi wasn’t willing to participate in such events, but the class monitor made it difficult by emphasizing the importance of unity. He stated that as a cohesive group, no one could refuse, and if Xu Zhi insisted on declining, then the entire class would boycott the event.

Despite recognizing the class monitor’s tactics, Xu Zhi still attended.

The party was scheduled to be held far away from the school. The four classes rented six cars. Xu Zhi felt motion-sick and was already feeling a little uncomfortable when he arrived at the party location.

However, young men in their twenties are easily influenced, and as the dinner progressed, they started drinking. Xu Zhi, too, was persuaded by his classmates, who argued that “a real man drinks,” and ended up consuming a few glasses of alcohol.

Xu Zhi had never drank before this, and due to motion sickness, he was completely alienated from the party atmosphere.

The enthusiastic monitor could not see that some students were not enjoying it, so he insisted on asking Xu Zhi to participate.

“Xu Zhi,” the class monitor said, tugging at Xu Zhi, “Don’t be anti-social.”

Xu Zhi felt dizzy and staggered when he pulled him and subconsciously pushed him away.

“Don’t bully Xu Zhi.” A very beautiful girl in the class stood up to help Xu Zhi.

The group of people was getting a bit rowdy from the alcohol, and when they saw the girls helping Xu Zhi out, they began cheering and making a lot of noise.

Xu Zhi had a severe headache, so he said to go out and get some air, left the shouting people behind, and walked out.

The weather was fine when they came, but now it’s snowing heavily.

As soon as Xu Zhi walked out of the door, his eyes were stung by the white snow, and the next second, he saw a figure standing upright in the snow.

It is unknown how long Zhou Mu has been waiting outside. The snow was a bit heavy, and it was very cold in winter, so it never melted when it fell on his body.

Xu Zhi looked at him for a while and called him.

Zhou Mu held a thick down jacket in his arms. When he saw Xu Zhi coming out, he walked over and put the jacket on him, “Is it over?”

Xu Zhi adjusted his clothes and asked him in a drunken state. He looked up at him for a long time before speaking, “How are you here?”

“It’s snowing,” Zhou Mu said, “I came to pick you up.”

Xu Zhi took out his phone and took a look. The interface was clean of messages, “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Yeah,” Zhou Mu asked Xu Zhi to put on his clothes and zip up the jacket for him, “I was afraid it would affect your party.”

The clothes Zhou Mu brought him were very thick, and after zipping them up, Xu Zhi became even more drunk due to the heat.

Xu Zhi blinked. Zhou Mu saw that he was confused and took his hand, “Are you leaving now?”

Xu Zhi looked down at Zhou Mu holding his hand, thinking that Zhou Mu must have been waiting for a long time, and his knuckles were a little red.

Xu Zhi nodded and followed Zhou Mu back.

The party was not far from where Xu Zhi lived, but because he drank, Zhou Mu was afraid that it would be uncomfortable to ride in the car, so he put his hat on Xu Zhi and led him along the road.

The light on the snowy night was very contradictory, both bright and dark. Xu Zhi stared at Zhou Mu’s back and asked him a question.

“Zhou Mu,” Xu Zhi asked, “Why do you want to start a business here?”

He heard from Wen Shuyao that Zhou Mu was the only son in the family, and his family’s business was said to be very big.

“Hmm?” Zhou Mu was stunned for a moment, then realized what Xu Zhi was asking, turned his head and said to him, “Because I want to stay here.”

Zhou Mu didn’t say why he wanted to stay here, but Xu Zhi felt that he knew.

Xu Zhi stared at Zhou Mu for a few seconds, then took a step forward, leaned gently against Zhou Mu, and said softly, “Senior, I can’t walk anymore.”

This was the first time Xu Zhi called Senior to Zhou Mu. Zhou Mu was stunned, then quickly bent down and said to Xu Zhi, “Come up.”

Xu Zhi reached out and wrapped his arms around Zhou Mu’s neck, slowly climbing onto Zhou Mu’s back. He looked at Zhou Mu through the fluffy rim of his down jacket hood.

Zhou Mu’s facial features were very three-dimensional, and his expression was very soft at this time.

He was walking in the snow with Xu Zhi on his back, his arms tightly wrapped around him, as if he were carrying some unique treasure on his back.

Xu Zhi looked back slightly. Zhou Mu’s footprints were long and straight, making people feel safe.

So he asked curiously, “Senior, do you live alone?”

“Yeah,” Zhou Mu nodded, “I don’t live far from you.”

“I didn’t bring the key.” Xu Zhi put some strength into his arm around Zhou Mu’s shoulders. He put his lips to Zhou Mu’s ear and gently nuzzled it, “Can you take me home?”

Zhou Mu paused and said to Xu Zhi, “Don’t make trouble.”

“It’s true,” Xu Zhi reached into his pants pocket, found the residential community access card, took it out, and held it in his hand, preparing to throw it away in the next second, “I really didn’t bring it.”

The snow slowly stopped. Zhou Mu carried Xu Zhi to the door of a closed convenience store and put Xu Zhi down.

Xu Zhi drank a little too much alcohol; his face was red, and his eyes were glazed.

Zhou Mu pressed Xu Zhi against the glass door, slowly leaning in and staying close to him. “I can’t take you home,” he whispered.

“Why?” Xu Zhi stood on tiptoe and approached Zhou Mu.

They were very close. When Xu Zhi spoke, his lips rubbed against Zhou Mu’s lips.

Zhou Mu did not move away.

“It’s not appropriate,” Zhou Mu said.

“Then what’s appropriate?” Xu Zhi pulled Zhou Mu’s collar and slowly licked Zhou Mu’s lower lip with the tip of his tongue, “You already held my hand.”

Zhou Mu remained still, letting him explore with his tongue after licking his lower lip and entering his mouth. His voice, still clear, said, “Can anyone who holds your hand take you home?”

Xu Zhi paused, feeling a little aggrieved, and took advantage of the drunkenness to argue with him, “Then what do you mean?”

Zhou Mu bit the tip of his tongue and refused to let him go. He put his arms around his waist and told him, “Xu Zhi, it’s not enough.”

The tip of Xu Zhi’s tongue was bitten so much that it felt numb, and his heart stopped. He asked vaguely, “Then what’s enough?”

“Hmm.” Zhou Mu looked like he was thinking about it and asked Xu Zhi, “What do you think?”

With a lifted hand, Xu Zhi traced down Zhou Mu’s chest, asking, “Is being a boyfriend enough?”

“That’s enough.” Zhou Mu moved his hands from his waist to the back of his neck, clasping him and kissing him deeply. Xu Zhi couldn’t stand and hooked Zhou Mu’s shoulders.

While kissing Xu Zhi, Zhou Mu took out the access card from his hand with the other hand and put it into his pocket. He said with unsteady breath, “Since my boyfriend didn’t bring the key, I’ll take him home.”
