DASB Ch18.1

 

Ye Xi was hospitalized for as long as it rained outside.

On the day of discharge, the weather was fine, but it was not hot when the sun came out, with a cool spring breeze.

But Huo Rulan still wrapped him up tightly before carrying him into the car. Ye Xi sat in the back seat, hugging his belly and yawning.

He blinked, looked at Huo Rulan, who was busy in front of him, and stretched out his hand and lifted Huo Rulan’s hand.

This trip to the hospital frightened Huo Rulan, which made him nervous about everything Ye Xi now.

The slightest discomfort can frighten Huo Rulan so much that he can’t sleep. He always stays by Ye Xi’s side and asks the doctor every day. The doctor dares to be angry but dare not say anything, so he can only avoid Huo Rulan.

Now even when driving, Ye Xi is allowed to sit in the back, and the car has been modified by Huo Rulan with high safety features.

It is a bit ugly, but it is better to be safet

Huo Rulan pinched Ye Xi’s palm, wiped away his yawning tears, and grabbed the pig doll next to him for Ye Xi to hold.

Ye Xi took it, held it in his arms and asked him:

“When did you buy it?”

Huo Rulan said, “I bought it two days ago. Do you like pigs?”

Ye Xi pinched the pink pig’s nose. “Yes, it’s cute.”

After gathering Ye Xi’s thick coat, covering him with a small blanket, and fastening his seat belt, Huo Rulan returned to the driver’s seat and drove home.

The car is heated, which makes people feel sleepy.

Ye Xi leaned back on the chair with his face sideways and fell asleep with a pig doll in his arms.

His face was sideways, and his sleep was quiet and beautiful. The sunshine outside the window reflected on his face from time to time, and his skin was white and glowing.

Huo Rulan glanced in the rearview mirror, smiling, and slowed down again.

When they got home, Rong Lan heard some noise in the kitchen, washed her hands and came out to pick them up.

Just as she was about to speak, she saw Ye Xi sleeping in Huo Rulan’s arms.

Rong Lan stopped talking and signaled Huo Rulan to take Ye Xi back to the room to sleep.

Huo Rulan nodded, holding Ye Xi upstairs to my room.

He slowly put the man into bed, turned Ye Xi over and let him sleep on his side, and took a pillow for pregnant husband beside him to help him relieve the pressure on his waist.

After going downstairs, he took the remaining things in the car to the living room, holding the Pink Piggy in his arms and preparing to go upstairs. When he saw Rong Lan chopping vegetables in the kitchen, Huo Rulan turned around and went to the kitchen.

“Mom.”

Rong Lan looked back and saw him holding a pink pig, knowing that he was going upstairs to give it to Ye Xi.

She continued to cut vegetables and asked him, “Is Ye Xi asleep? You don’t hurry up to accompany him. ” Rong Lan cut the dish and put it on the plate. “You go to take a nap with him. You need it.”

Rong Lan drove him out of the kitchen and closed the door.

Huo Rulan held the doll, touched his neck, secretly stuck it on the edge of the door and said, “Mom, can you make some tomato scrambled eggs?”

There was movement in the kitchen. Rong Lan opened the door, stared at him, and stuffed a tomato and a thermos cup into his hand.

“Eat and eat, you know how to eat, just like your father, hurry.”

Rong Lan closed the door again, Huo Rulan chewed fresh juicy tomatoes, ready to go upstairs.

The kitchen door opened again, and Rong Lan poked her head out. “The milk in that thermos cup is for Ye Xi. Don’t steal it.”

After saying that, she closed the door again.

Huo Rulan: “I…”

Huo Rulan closed his eyes, took a deep breath helplessly, and looked at the thermos cup in his hand.

Turned to continue upstairs and chewed the tomato.

By lunch time, Ye Xi was still sleeping, so Huo Rulan could only wake him up for dinner.

The doctor said that Ye Xi should eat three meals a day on time, and eat more nutritious supplements.

Huo Rulan always remembers the doctor’s advice. He wakes Ye Xi up to eat first and then sleep after eating.

It’s not easy to wake his little wife who is sleeping soundly to get up for dinner, such as now.

Huo Rulan squatted by the bed, facing Ye Xi, first squeezed his palm and called to him softly, “Ye Xi, baby, get up and eat, okay? Will you sleep after eating? ”

Ye Xi frowned with his eyes closed and did not move.

Huo Rulan sat by the bed again, leaned over his side and kissed his face: “Get up for lunch, there are fish you like.”

Ye Xi frowned and didn’t move, but he couldn’t bear Huo Rulan’s incessant chatter in his ear.

Ye Xi raised his hand with his eyes closed and waved it in the air, not knowing what he was grasping.

Huo Rulan leaned his head to his hand

He saw Ye Xi touch his hair, grabbed it, and then skillfully grabbed Huo Rulan’s hair, threw it aside, and turned over to go back to sleep.

Huo Rulan feels he is cute every time he calls him to get up, and he doesn’t know what he thinks.

With a smile, he bent down to pick Ye Xi up, put his arm around him, let him lean in his arms, and put out his hand to caress Ye Xi’s back.

Ye Xi leaned on his shoulder, bleary-eyed, opened his eyes and closed them, tilted his head against Huo Rulan’s Rulan’s neck, held Huo Rulan’s waist in his hands, and snorted reluctantly.
