Prince Pei’s wealth is formidable, and he is renowned throughout the aristocratic circles. Having navigated the business scene for many years, his most abundant resource is undoubtedly his extensive network of connections. Without exaggeration, the number of individuals seeking to curry favor with him is countless, and invitations to his gatherings are exceedingly rare and highly coveted.
However, Gaien is Prince Pei’s most beloved nephew. With a simple phone call, the matter of the visitation was swiftly resolved. Conveniently, there is a gathering scheduled for the next week, and Prince Pei directly dispatched servants to deliver two invitations.
“Two invitations?”
Han Yan, who was originally seated at his desk behind the holocomputer, received two invitations handed over by Gaien. Absentmindedly, he opened one and found it was for himself and Gaien, while the other prominently displayed Johnny’s name.
Adjusting his glasses, Han Yan felt that this matter might be somewhat beyond his control. “Does Prince Pei know Johnny?”
Gaien shook his head, indicating he didn’t know. However, because Han Yan asked, he still explained in a low voice, “Uncle probably finds him more interesting.”
Han Yan didn’t press for more information. In any case, Johnny had been more well-behaved recently, so bringing him along shouldn’t be a problem. He handed the invitation to Gaien, initially thinking of having him deliver it to Johnny. However, for some reason that crossed his mind, he took it back and tossed it on the table corner, saying casually, “Let him come and pick it up himself.”
With that said, Han Yan shifted his focus back to browsing the star network.
In his past life, Han Yan was a tourism developer, so out of habit, he tended to explore the industry he excelled in first. However, after collecting information on various planets near Salaranfa, he discovered that due to severe pollution, there were virtually no places suitable for development.
He set his sights on the Solitiam Forest. The Imperial team responsible for eliminating the source stones of pollution was about to depart, but their return date was uncertain, forcing him to temporarily postpone his plans.
Han Yan closed the page and turned his attention to the industries under Prince Pei’s name. The thin lenses of his glasses reflected the data on the light computer screen, making it difficult for anyone to discern what his gray-blue eyes were contemplating. His expression was solemn and serious, carrying an elegance and composure that seemed incongruent with his age.
Gaien had remained by Han Yan’s side, attentively watching him. He finally noticed that the other person wasn’t always as gentle and harmless as he appeared. The faint smile at the corner of Han Yan’s lips only surfaced on specific occasions; in private, Han Yan was not one to smile often.
In Salaranfa, the male zergs didn’t need to work; they could comfortably sit at home, waiting for the service of the females.
Although Gaien didn’t understand why Han Yan was looking at those things, it didn’t stop him from finding the sight of Han Yan diligently working quite attractive.
Gaien tilted his head, and his red eyes squinted slightly. Despite maintaining that gloomy and melancholic appearance, fleeting emotions of joy and obsession flashed through his eyes, too quick to be caught.
Han Yan seemed to sense something and lifted his eyelids to look at Gaien. “What’s wrong?”
Gaien shifted his gaze away and shook his head. “Nothing.”
The terminal on his wrist suddenly made a “ding!” sound, as if someone was calling. Gaien lowered his eyes and glanced at it, then picked up the invitation from the table. “My lord, I happen to be going downstairs to pick up a delivery. I’ll take it to Johnny on the way.”
Han Yan nodded in acknowledgment and refocused his attention on the holocomputer, not bothering to ask what Gaien had bought.
Gaien limped out of the room, gently closing the door behind him. He descended the stairs, and the delivery person was waiting at the entrance, holding a small package. “Sir, your purchased items have been delivered. If everything is in order, please sign here.”
Gaien opened the package to inspect the contents, confirmed everything was fine, and then signed. Limping back upstairs with the box, he didn’t immediately return to his room. Instead, he stopped in front of Johnny’s door.

As if the door had a telepathic connection, it opened a crack even before Gaien knocked. Johnny cautiously peeked out from behind the door, looking like a mischievous thief afraid of being caught. He lowered his voice and nervously asked Gaien, “How is it? Did my new edition gaming card arrive?”
Gaien remained silent and simply handed over the contents of the delivery box to his gaming enthusiast younger brother-in-law. He then made a nonchalant sound.
Johnny, however, was overjoyed. His hands trembled as he took the item, and when he saw the limited edition gaming card from the Daring Games Factory inside the packaging, he held it to his chest, nearly on the verge of tears with happiness. “Exactly! This is it! The globally limited edition gaming card, only one hundred available! And you actually managed to snag one!”
Johnny, for the first time, realized that the marriage with Gaien was truly a great deal! Gaien wasn’t just any ordinary spouse; he was a savior and a generous benefactor! When he was short on cash, he could secretly order takeout through him. And now, when he wanted to buy gaming cards, he could count on him to help secure one. Gaien was practically closer than his real brother!
With teary eyes, Johnny looked at Gaien. In gratitude for the gaming card worth half a million stars in his hands, he patted his chest and began pledging loyalty, “Rest assured, with me around, no female zerg will ever get close to Ashya! At the slightest sign of trouble, I’ll immediately inform you!”
Being a male zerg, some tasks were more convenient for Johnny than for female zergs. Johnny could shoo away the female zergs around Han Yan, but Gaien couldn’t; otherwise, it would be seen as jealousy, violating the Female Monarch Code and subjecting him to punishment.
Gaien seemed to have been waiting for these words. Without saying anything more, he directly handed Johnny the exquisitely crafted, gold-embossed invitation. In a calm tone, he said, “The banquet at Prince Pei’s mansion next week. The master said you’re invited.”
With that, Gaien didn’t pay attention to Johnny’s bewildered scratching of his head and turned back into his room.
At that moment, Han Yan had just finished organizing the information at hand. He closed the holocomputer, squeezed his nose bridge, and coincidentally heard the sound of Gaien entering the room. Subconsciously, he opened his eyes and looked at Gaien, who was holding a delivery box. Without much thought, he casually asked, “What did you buy?”
Han Yan didn’t have a particularly strong curiosity, but he suddenly found himself wondering what the usually contentless Gaien would purchase online, so he made an exception and asked.
Under the gaze of the man, Gaien’s steps slightly faltered. Subconsciously, he tightened his grip on the empty delivery box in his hands. “…Just a small thing.”
Han Yan, perhaps sensing his subtle movements, looked thoughtful. He directly pulled out a chair, stood up, and walked over to Gaien. The man’s slender figure blocked the sunlight, casting a long shadow before him. In a deep and intriguing tone, he asked, “What small thing?”
Gaien didn’t know how to respond.
Seeing this, Han Yan raised his hand and pressed down on the delivery box. A glint of light flashed from the silver ring on his ring finger, accentuating the elegance of his fingers. Since the day he put it on, he had never taken off that ring. “I’ll ask one last time.”
There was a moment of silence, and then Gaien quietly uttered a few words, “Sex toy…”
Han Yan paused slightly.
Gaien repeated, “It’s a sex toy.”
Han Yan stared at Gaien expressionlessly, tapping his fingertips lightly on the delivery box in Gaien’s hands. It was unclear whether he believed it or not. Emotionlessly, he asked, “For example?”
Gaien pursed his lips. “Vibrating d*ldo.”
As the words fell, the air abruptly plunged into silence, and you could almost hear a pin drop.
Han Yan’s eyebrows furrowed imperceptibly.
Gaien lifted his gaze to Han Yan, looking at the male’s calm and refined face. Since that day they marked each other, it seemed like they hadn’t touched each other again. He asked earnestly, “Do you want to use it now?”
“…”
Han Yan remained silent. Three seconds later, he calmly withdrew his hand. He visually measured the length of the small delivery box in Gaien’s hands. His cool fingertips lightly landed on the abdomen of the female zerg, causing a brief shiver. Then, slowly moving downward, he measured the distance to the reproductive cavity. He calmly uttered, “Return it.”
Han Yan said, “You bought a short one.”
Gaien wasn’t sure what Han Yan had in mind, but he placed the delivery box behind the door and limped over. The chair was only suitable for one person, so Han Yan directly pulled the female zerg onto his left leg, fingertips casually caressing the slender waist. He nonchalantly asked, “Do you know how many restaurants are nearby?”
Gaien was caught off guard by his actions. His back stiffened momentarily due to tension but relaxed soon after. He answered truthfully, “Sorry, I haven’t counted.”
Han Yan didn’t show any signs of anger. “How many of them offer takeout?”
Gaien lowered his gaze, pondering for a moment. “Not many.”
Han Yan lifted his chin, indicating for Gaien to operate and show him. “Just order something random to bring back.”
Gaien, though puzzled, complied. He opened the StarNet, searched for nearby dining establishments, randomly selected a well-known brand, silently memorized its name, then exited the page. He searched for the restaurant’s name again and found its official online ordering platform.
Gaien turned his head to look at Han Yan. “What would you like to eat?”
However, Han Yan responded with a different question, “Do all the restaurants have dedicated ordering pages?”
Gaien shook his head, “Only a few large restaurants have official websites. For regular small shops, you need to communicate through phone orders.”
Han Yan followed up, “Do they deliver everywhere?”
Again, Gaien shook his head, “Not for long distances.”
Han Yan smiled, sitting up a bit straighter. He directly manipulated the cursor to exit the star network and opened an unfamiliar shopping cart icon on the desktop. Double-clicking into it, he leaned back in his chair.
Han Yan casually turned his head and gave a kiss to the red mole at the end of Gaien’s eye. His fingertips slowly glided through the silver strands of hair, as if caressing a pitiable white cat. “What do you want to eat?”
Gaien, being kneaded into a state of total relaxation, with his mind completely blank, responded absentmindedly, “Bread…”
Han Yan thought it was quite easy to please him. His slender fingertips lightly tapped on the keyboard, typing in the characters “Bread”, then clicking on the search button. The page instantly transformed, displaying a list of eateries within a ten-kilometer radius, all of which sold bread.
Gaien, slightly surprised by this, subconsciously looked at Han Yan. “What is this?”
Han Yan replied, “Software development.”
After saying that, he casually clicked on the page again, but this time, nothing popped up. The screen was blank.
Facing Gaien’s puzzled gaze, Han Yan finally explained, “It’s just a preliminary concept. I made a test version.”
In simpler terms, the listed eateries were all fake.
Han Yan had been studying software development during this time. He found that, while the Zerg Race’s StarNet was comprehensive, the information was too chaotic, and the applications of apps were not as extensive as on Earth. There was significant profit potential in organizing and categorizing the information more effectively.
Gaien vaguely understood what was going on. “Are you planning to get into software development?”
Han Yan neither confirmed nor denied it. “What do you think?”
Though Gaien didn’t order takeout often, he couldn’t deny that the software was indeed convenient. He looked at Han Yan with a complex gaze, feeling that his male lord was different from other male zergs. Finally, he nodded softly. “I’ll follow your lead.”
Han Yan closed his eyes lightly, not saying anything more, occasionally caressing the female zerg nestled in his arms. It seemed like he wasn’t seeking Gaien’s opinion but rather just looking for an intimate partner to share his ambitions.
With the initial concept in place, Han Yan had already started preparing to establish a company and recruit employees. If Prince Pei showed interest in investing, the path ahead would be much smoother, considering the countless business industries under his control.
Han Yan rarely dined alone. Sharing risks with a partner always had its advantages.
The day of the banquet arrived quickly. Noble banquets were usually held in the afternoon, either because daytime schedules were busy or to allow for lively celebrations through the night.
When Han Yan, accompanied by Gaien and Johnny, arrived at Prince Pei’s residence on the aircraft, almost half of the guests were already inside. The timing was just right—not too early and not too late.
“Your Excellency, please follow me.”
A beautiful subfemale attendant approached to greet them, bowing slightly and leading them towards the hall. Whether intentionally or not, he positioned himself on Han Yan’s left side. His fair arm brushed against his slightly cool suit jacket as he softly spoke, “The prince is entertaining guests inside. He will be very pleased to learn of your arrival.”
Gaien, limping on Han Yan’s right side due to his injured leg, seemed to naturally lag behind a half-step. As he observed the subfemale walking closely with Han Yan, his pace faltered for a moment. He lowered his gaze, concealing the emotions that surged within, and remained silent.
The servants in the prince’s residence were all well-trained and would not make such indiscreet moves. However, Han Yan’s outstanding appearance and conditions evidently disrupted the composure of the subfemale, prompting him to take the risk of getting close. After all, opportunities were meant to be seized.
Han Yan noticed the subfemale’s actions but didn’t avoid him. Instead, he smiled in a seemingly casual manner and asked, “Really? Who are the guests inside?”
The subfemale, finding himself in conversation with the refined and handsome male zerg, felt his heart skip a beat. Blushing, he replied, “Minister of the Finance Office, Minister of the Chamber of Commerce, Inspection General, and also young masters Durant and Butte, they’ve all arrived.”
Han Yan raised an eyebrow subtly, thinking that it seemed like quite a few heavyweight “figures” were present today. He got the information he wanted and didn’t continue the conversation. Without showing any signs, he subtly distanced himself from the subfemale who was trying to get close and continued walking towards the hall.
Han Yan was so engrossed in his thoughts that he inadvertently neglected Gaien behind him. The limping female zerg had unconsciously fallen far behind, lagging considerably.
The beautiful subfemale servant, oblivious to Han Yan’s growing coldness, hurriedly caught up when he noticed the distance widening between them. He even dared to grab Han Yan’s sleeve, whispering, “Your Excellency, His Highness has recently planted a section of lifelike orchids in the backyard, featuring rare and precious varieties. Would you like to take a look?”
Before Han Yan could respond, a sudden powerful force struck the subfemale. Immediately after, Johnny forcefully pushed himself through the space beside Han Yan, knocking away the subfemale and crashing into a flower bed with a loud thud, three meters away.
The subfemale let out a short, sharp scream. Startled, he attempted to stand up from the flower bed. However, due to the unstable ground, he ended up falling back down, covered in leaves, looking quite disheveled.
Johnny, apparently unaware of the subtleties of showing sympathy, stood guard beside Han Yan, maintaining a proud posture. He declined, “No need, my big brother doesn’t like looking at orchids!”
The next month, Daring Gaming Factory will release a new series of collectible cards. Anyone daring to approach Han Yan at this time is just asking for trouble!
