LM Ch. 92

Half a month later, Jiang Yu and Qiao Xin’s movie was wrapped up. Jiang Yu returned to see that there is a nursery room in the house, and Qin Shen reasoned that it’s for training the child’s independence from a young age. Qin Shen would wait for Jiang Naonao to fall asleep each night before discreetly carrying him to the nursery room and back to bed before he woke up in the morning.

Jiang Naonao didn’t notice anything; he fell asleep happily in Jiang Yu’s arms every day and woke up every day. It wasn’t until one morning, after Qin Shen and Jiang Yu had tossed and turned in bed for a while, that Jiang Naonao awoke in a different bed in an unfamiliar room and burst into tears, only to realize that he was disliked by his father. He’s only a baby, less than one year old.

The little cub was so upset that he ignored his father for a whole week, and it took Qin Shen a great deal of effort to coax him. After Jiang Yu and Qiao Xin cooperated, they took advantage of Qiao Xin’s popularity and completely became busy. Every day, he’d be making announcements, recording commercials, and TV programs that fell on him like a snowflake.

Jiang Yu and Qiao Xin’s film was released at the 11th Golden Week, more than two months later. Among the many Hollywood blockbusters and domestic commercial films, it performed well at the box office and through word-of-mouth as a literary film. Jiang Yu’s fame rose rapidly, and soon several high-quality scripts came knocking at his door. Yan Shu chose a big male lead costume drama for Jiang Yu, whose director and screenwriter were both quite reliable.

This is Jiang Yu’s first drama as the male lead actor. The filming location of the crew is at the film and television base in Linghai City, so he quickly joined the crew, and it’s also very convenient for him to go home, or Qin Shen would take the little cub to visit the set.

In a blink of an eye, it was Christmas. Jiang Yu has finished all his scenes and walked out of the set wrapped in a down jacket. Qin Shen was already waiting for him in the car outside.

He talked to his assistant first before getting into the car. Qin Shen reached out and touched his flushed cheeks, then held his cold hands and rubbed them.

Only after Jiang Yu’s hands were warmed up did Qin Shen drive towards the commercial district.

On Christmas Eve, the commercial district was bustling with people. Qin Shen found a place to park in the underground parking lot, then put on a mask, a down jacket, and a hat for Jiang Yu before getting out of the car.

Jiang Yu loves to eat hot pot. They entered a private room and ordered a lot of Jiang Yu’s favorite dishes. They only came out after eating to their heart’s content. It was already dark outside, but the lights in the shopping mall were brightly lit, and people were coming and going.

Jiang Yu, with a mask and a hat on, hands in the pocket of his down jacket, walked slowly out of the mall with Qin Shen. On the opposite bank, a huge electronic screen displayed the time. Just at eight o’clock sharp, people had gathered slowly.

At nine o’clock, there will be a fireworks display on the other side of the river. Last year, on this day, he and Fang Miao came to eat and watch the fireworks, but halfway through, Fang Miao was called away. Later on, Qin Shen came, and the two of them kissed and determined their relationship as the fireworks bloomed.

Just as Jiang Yu was lost in his thoughts, a warm hand slid into his pocket, caressed his palm, and inserted a finger in between his, until all their fingers were intertwined.

“Come on, let’s go.” Qin Shen led him, leisurely walking across the river bank.

The lights outside were not as bright as inside the mall. Qin Shen wore a scarf that covered the lower half of his face, whilst Jiang Yu only revealed a pair of eyes. The two of them were not conspicuous at all. Jiang Yu followed Qin Shen with great confidence, staying close to him.

It was a little chilly as the two walked along the side of the riverbank for a time. Qin Shen had to stop to zip Jiang Yu’s down jacket. Seeing a grove by the flower bed not far away, he brought Jiang Yu over.

“Is it cold?” Standing still in the shadow, Qin Shen withdrew his hand out of Jiang Yu’s pocket, unzipped his down jacket, and wrapped Jiang Yu in it.

Jiang Yu leaned against his chest, pushed his hat up, and wrapped his hands around his waist, gently swaying.

Qin Shen lowered his head, his chin pressing against Jiang Yu’s forehead, wrapping him tightly in his down jacket.

Soon, more and more people were gathered on the riverbank, surrounding the two of them. Jiang Yu’s face and figure could not be seen clearly. They were just like any other ordinary couple embracing each other.

Soon it was nine o’clock, and spectacular fireworks erupted on the other side of the river. Jiang Yu turned his head to take a look, but Qin Shen grasped his chin and sealed his lips.

Jiang Yu, covered in Qin Shen’s scent and intoxicated by the interweaving of their lips and tongue, wrapped his arms around his waist when his left hand was caught and something was placed on his finger.

Qin Shen released him, dazed and confused. Panting, he looked down to see a simple ring on his left hand’s ring finger.

Jiang Yu understood what wearing a ring on his ring finger meant in human society. He looked at Qin Shen, his eyes wide open in surprise.

Qin Shen was a little amused when he saw this and rubbed Jiang Yu’s head, and said in a low voice, “So surprised? You don’t want to marry me?”

Jiang Yu blushed, pursed his lips and shook his head. Rubbing the ring with his fingers, the size was perfect, and he couldn’t help but mutter, “When did you prepare it?”

“It was prepared a long time ago, especially for today.” This date last year was extremely significant to them. So he had the ring prepared early specifically for this day.

“Put it on me,” Qin Shen said as the fireworks continued to light up the sky.  He took out another ring from his pocket and placed it on Jiang Yu’s hand, and stretched his own.

Jiang Yu gripped the ring, his heart pounding slightly quicker as he delicately placed it on Qin Shen’s finger.

Qin Shen’s hand with the ring held Jiang Yu’s hand, while his other hand cupped his face and kissed him, with a hoarse voice he said, “Let’s go home.”

They quickly left the crowd as Qin Shen still held Jiang Yu’s hand.

 

 

 

The two men in the car remained silent. Qin Shen drove with a tense expression. When they arrived at the villa, Qin Shen stepped out of the car and dragged Jiang Yu inside. As soon as he closed the door, he pressed Jiang Yu against the wall and kissed him before they could go upstairs.

“Hmm… Nanny and Naonao…” Jiang Yu said, grasping the man’s collar with his fingers.

“The nanny went home, and Naonao was sent to Grandpa,” Qin Shen replied swiftly, blocking the other’s mouth with his own as he removed their clothes.

Jiang Yu wanted to say something but felt lighter as he was hauled up by Qin Shen, his legs apart. He yelled in surprise and wrapped his arms around the man’s neck, his legs around his waist.

Qin Shen embraced the person then led him to the sofa. Hot kisses fell from the base of Jiang Yu’s ear to his collarbone, followed by heavy sucking and nibbling as if to leave his traces, and a kiss on the corner of his mouth. Their lips were once again entwined, and the sound of their wet kiss echoed across the quiet room.

The room was very hot, Jiang Yu’s forehead was already dripping with sweat, and he was panting from being kissed thoroughly, his fingers gripped the man’s shoulder anxiously, his eyes were hazy, and the corners of his eyes were stained scarlet.

The sweater he was wearing had been removed, and his loose jeans had long since been pulled off. He was now only in a shirt that is unbuttoned down to the last one.

Qin Shen’s feverish palms cradled his waist inside the shirt, his head buried in his neck, and his teeth lightly bit the soft flesh on his neck.

He gasped when sensitive flesh on his neck was suddenly sucked hard, hugging the man’s neck tightly, he clamped his legs around his waist, and rubbed against him impatiently.

From the living room downstairs to the room above, then to the window sill and finally to the bathroom, Jiang Yu seemed to be floating on the sea all night long. When he finally came out of the bathroom, Jiang Yu could barely move his fingers, and struggled to open his eyes. He snuggled into the warm, silky quilt and fell soundly asleep.

 

 

 

When JIang Yu woke up, he felt a warm little body moving around. He opened his eyes and see Jiang Naonao lying and rolling next to him, gnawing on his fingers and toes, playing by himself.

“Yiya!” Naonao exclaimed with delight upon seeing Jiang Yu wake up. He sprang up and jumped into his embrace, ready to kiss Jiang Yu with the same tongue that gnawed on his fingers and toes.

Jiang Yu moved his sore arms to cover his son’s lips. He looked around and realized that he was sleeping on a wide sofa. This place is unfamiliar and definitely not a room in their villa.Just as he was wondering, Qin Shen came out of the bathroom and saw that he was awake. He came over and took the little boy out of his arms, then sat on the sofa, picked him up, and leaned into his arms.

“Where is this?” Jiang Yu asked in a hoarse voice.

“On the plane.” Qin Shen poured a glass of water and fed it to his lips. After he finished drinking, he wiped his water-stained lips with his thumb, rubbed them twice reluctantly, and then reached into the quilt, massaging his sore waist.

Jiang Yu was surprised. “Airplane? Where are we going?”

“Go on a honeymoon.” Qin Shen held his left hand and kissed his ring finger. “You agreed to marry me yesterday, did you forget?”

It was rare for both of them to be on vacation at the same time. He had planned it a long time ago and had his private plane ready, and their luggage was delivered to the plane early in the morning. After waking up, he went to Qin Yunshan’s to pick up Jiang Naonao, held Jiang Yu, who was still sleeping, and boarded the plane together.

Jiang Yu remembered what happened last night and saw the unhappy little boy who was left aside, grunting and about to climb on top of him. His lips curled and he said, “Don’t you mind Naonao getting in the way?”

Qin Shen stretched out his hand and flicked the little boy’s forehead, then snorted and said, “If you don’t take him with you, what would you do if you go out for a day or two, while he stays at home crying and asking you to come back? It’s better to take him with us to save ourselves from trouble. I‘ve already invited someone to see him, and I won’t let him get in our way.”

Seeing that the little boy was struggling to climb up, Qin Shen stretched out his hand to hold his little buttocks, and helped him into Jiang Yu’s arms.

Jiang Yu lowered his head and hugged the little boy, revealing the soft and white back of his neck. Qin Shen glanced at him and was stunned. He pushed his slightly long black hair away with his fingers. The small red mole on the back of his neck disappeared.

He looked at the big one and small one in his arms, the corner of his mouth hooked, and he couldn’t help but rub his fingertips on the spot where Jiang Yu’s red mole used to be. Soon, their family will have another little fish cub.

Jiang Yu didn’t realize it at all. Together with Jiang Naonao, they turned to look at the marshmallow-like white clouds outside the window. The expressions and movements of the father and son were surprisingly consistent, exactly the same as when they took the plane for the first time.

Qin Shen clasped Jiang Yu’s fingers with the ring tightly. He hugged the father and son in his arms, lowered his head and kissed Jiang Yu on the top of his head, then kissed Jiang Naonao’s head, and then turned to look outside the window.

The sky outside the window is blue, the white clouds are soft, and the plane is flying smoothly in the sky. There has never been a moment more satisfying than now.
