The sound of a condom being torn open rang out. Yu Yang put on the condom, bent down to kiss Jin Wuqi, and reached back to touch that long-lost, moist place that willingly succumbed to him.
The Omega in heat was wet, soft, and quivering. Jin Wuqi’s opening eagerly took in Alpha’s slender fingers. Jin Wuqi lifted his leg to rub against Yu Yang’s waist. The volatile scent of lemon soda pheromones mixed with heat of mating. It nearly drove him insane. He gripped Yu Yang’s wrist, asking him to withdraw his fingers. His voice sounded trembling, “Yu Yang… put it in…”

“Who do you want?” Yu Yang bent down, embracing Jin Wuqi’s waist, kissing his shoulder and the gland that was full of scars. The rose fragrance there was so intense that it felt like liquid being poured into his breath, making his head dizzy. However, Yu Yang endured and didn’t bite down. Yu Yang lifted his head and placed his hand against Jin Wuqi’s moist neck. His thumb gently stroked his chin, looking into his chestnut eyes through the mist. He asked, “Hungry? I brought you supplements.”
“Just tired…” Jin Wuqi blinked, “I don’t want to drink it.”
“Have a little,” Yu Yang said, “Otherwise, your body won’t hold up.”
At this moment, Yu Yang’s gentleness was a far cry from his demeanour in bed earlier. Jin Wuqi didn’t say anything. Right now, all he wanted was to lie down and sleep, either on the bed or in the bathtub. He didn’t want to think about anything or do anything at all.
“Drink a bottle and then rest, okay?” Yu Yang said. “You can sleep for a while.”
Jin Wuqi nodded.
Yu Yang wrapped him in a towel and carried him out of the bathroom. The sheets and blankets had been changed. The room’s air conditioning was on full blast. Yu Yang lay down with him on the bed, not in a hurry to get up. Instead, he hugged Jin Wuqi and covered him with a blanket.
“Stay in my arms for a while. I’ll get up once the bed warms up a bit,” Yu Yang kissed Jin Wuqi’s bare shoulder. “Don’t sleep yet. I’ll bring you the supplements in a moment.”
Jin Wuqi leaned against his chest, nodding.
This moment was so precious. It was as if there had never been any grievances, no more than four years of estrangement, and no bad things had ever happened between them.
Jin Wuqi was completely vulnerable. He showed his soft underbelly for the alpha to deal with, without fear of getting hurt, only to be cherished and embraced.
But precisely because such embraces were so precious that there was no way for him to say anything that could potentially tear them apart. Once exposed, perhaps even this rare tenderness could no longer be had.
Jin Wuqi closed his eyes, tears forming at the corners.
After a few minutes, Yu Yang got up. He opened a bottle of supplements and handed it to Jin Wuqi.
Jin Wuqi sat up and leaned against the pillow as he quietly drank it.
Yu Yang went to get a towel. He then sat back on the bed, holding Jin Wuqi so he could lean on his shoulder. He untied Jin Wuqi’s hair and wrapped the hairband around his wrist. He used the towel to slowly dry the omega’s damp hair ends.
After finishing the bottle of supplements, Jin Wuqi lay back down on the bed. Yu Yang tucked him in and tidied himself up a bit, saying, “I’ll be outside. You go to sleep. If you need anything, just call me.”
Jin Wuqi nodded.
The door closed. Jin Wuqi closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep in the scent of lemon soda pheromones.
Having the alpha outside the door was truly comforting for him.

Yu Yang finished playing basketball and took a shower in the locker room. While drying his hair, his phone rang. He answered it.
“At the school gate,” Jin Wuqi’s voice was lazy. “Handsome, I’m waiting for you.”
“Looks like the handsome guy has a date,” Yu Yang said. He then hung up the phone and packed up his things. Without looking up, he said to the alphas nearby, “I’m leaving first. I won’t be joining you for dinner.”
“Why? We agreed to celebrate together if we won today!”
“We’ll win next time. There will be plenty of chances to celebrate together,” Yu Yang said with a smile as he tossed the keys. “Please return them for me. I’m off.”
Jin Wuqi was already in the passenger seat, leaning against the window with his hand, tilting his head on his arm. He looked at the alpha walking out of the institute gate, wearing a simple T-shirt and sweatpants, with a duckbill cap on his head.
“He looks pretty good. He’s tall and all,” he muttered to himself.
“You’re back early?” Yu Yang smoothly took the driver’s seat and asked him.
“Yeah. I just missed you,” Jin Wuqi turned his head to look at Yu Yang, smiling lazily. “Playing basketball again? Being a student is so nice.”
“You can play too,” Yu Yang said, picking up his jacket and putting it on. After rummaging around for a bit, he took something out of his pocket and tossed it to Jin Wuqi. “Here, don’t thank me.”
Jin Wuqi picked it up and saw that it was a campus card for the City A Research Institute.
“You can use it at the cafeteria, supermarket, and convenience store on campus,” Yu Yang took off his hat, started the car, and said, “Spend it at school, Senior Jin.”
“Thanks, Junior.” Jin Wuqi smiled as he turned the card in his hand and asked, “Where do you want to eat?”
“Let’s go back. You look tired,” Yu Yang said, steering the wheel. “I’ll cook.”
There was a rare look of hesitation on Jin Wuqi’s face. “Um… no?”
“Last time was an accident,” Yu Yang said calmly. “I’ve studied the recipes. I won’t mess up again.”
Jin Wuqi clearly didn’t believe him. He looked down at the card in his hand and said, “Then let’s go eat at your institute cafeteria.”
“No,” Yu Yang refused firmly.
“Alright, kiddo,” Jin Wuqi leaned back in his seat, enjoying the breeze as he chuckled.
The faint rose-scented pheromones on him were carried by the evening breeze into Yu Yang’s nostrils. Suddenly, Yu Yang wished this road would never end. They sat quietly in the car, enjoying the breeze and the scenery while chatting lightly.
Yes, this is how Yu Yang thinks every time he wakes up from a dream.
