INSIDER Chapter 125

The sound of 7’s voice was deep and pleasant, like rich wine, carrying a soothing quality that always made Lu Chu feel incredibly at ease, making him believe that the man in front of him was invincible and all-powerful.

Lu Chu smiled, hugged him back, and patted his back as if comforting a child: “I missed you too.” The thought of missing him brought both worry and a serene, sweet feeling to his heart.

7’s voice was low: “What kind of missing?”

Lu Chu was puzzled and looked directly into his eyes: “What kind?”

7 lifted his head, his deep, wolf-like eyes gazing at Lu Chu, his voice husky: “This kind.”

With that, 7 suddenly leaned down, enveloping Lu Chu entirely.

Caught off guard, Lu Chu found his lips captured by 7’s.

For a moment, Lu Chu was slightly stunned, blinking his clear eyes as he felt the warm breath and gentle, restrained licks and kisses on his lips, his face slowly turning crimson. 7 narrowed his eyes, gently licking and kissing Lu Chu’s lips, not going deeper. As Lu Chu regained his composure, he tentatively extended his tongue, which met 7’s, sending a shiver of death-like pleasure deep into his mind.

7 paused, and the next second, his eyes darkened immensely. The veins bulged on his hands holding Lu Chu’s body as if he were suppressing something. However, after a moment of struggle, he gave up suppressing the dark, surging possessiveness in his heart and directly plunged his tongue into Lu Chu’s mouth, stopping him from retreating.

Their lips and teeth interlocked, sucking and entwining.

He kissed the person beneath him madly and obsessively.

He was his.

Nothing made 7 feel this fact more than physical contact.

The deep darkness in 7’s eyes grew, fermenting and settling into an earth-shattering desire and craving as their lips and teeth touched.

Since it was like this, he might as well merge him into his body.

Lu Chu was his name, his life, his weakness, and the only light he saw in the endless hell.

His body screamed to completely own him, to enter him, to devour him.

Lu Chu, breathless and dizzy from 7’s overwhelming kisses, lightly hammered 7’s chest with his hand, and 7 finally let him go. As Lu Chu leaned against 7’s chest, panting, he suddenly felt the world spin. When he came to his senses again, he was lying on the huge double bed in the middle of the resting room.

The mattress was thick and soft, and as Lu Chu was laid down on it, the bed sank around him.

Lu Chu, dazed from the kiss, his cheeks flushed, his usually clear eyes shining brightly, looked at 7 standing by the window.

7, seeing his gaze, felt a tightness in his abdomen, the dark desire in his eyes surging uncontrollably, causing his heart to tremble with longing. He stepped forward, leaned over Lu Chu, bracing himself on either side of Lu Chu, and once again captured Lu Chu’s lips, like a predator chasing its prey, his whole body exuding boiling hormones.

After the kiss, 7 lifted his head, his eyes filled with insatiable longing and indulgence.

He gently wiped the tears from the corner of Lu Chu’s eyes with his thumb, his voice hoarse and gentle: “Do you know what I want to do?”

Lu Chu, still dazed, looked directly into 7’s eyes and nodded slightly.

7 asked again: “Do you really know?”

Lu Chu shook his head to clear the fog from the kiss, looked up at the desire in 7’s eyes, smiled with determined gentleness: “I know.”

The next moment, he was sealed with another passionate kiss from 7.

Stifled and low sighs.

In the midst of confusion, someone obsessively and insatiably murmured—

“I love you.”

The next day, Lu Chu woke up leisurely around seven in the morning.

His body felt sore and uncomfortable, as if it had been run over.

Last night, 7 had cleaned Lu Chu and then held him, watching his peaceful sleeping face until now. Sensing Lu Chu waking up and seeming a bit uncomfortable, he leaned down and kissed Lu Chu’s forehead, then started massaging his waist. Lu Chu, embarrassed, still lay on his stomach, allowing 7 to massage his waist. 7’s technique was excellent, gradually easing the soreness in Lu Chu’s body, making him drowsy again.

However, it wasn’t time to sleep. Once Lu Chu felt his waist was no longer sore and he could move freely, he got out of bed after tidying up.

7 stayed by his side, half-kneeling to put on his shoes and socks.

Lu Chu, a bit too shy to look at 7, had his ears tinged with red under his hair. Seeing this, 7’s lips unintentionally curved into a smile.

.

The two of them went to the ship’s restaurant for breakfast.

Lu Chu didn’t know how crowded high-end restaurants usually were, but today the restaurant was very quiet.

The chefs, as always, prepared fine and delicious food, placing it on delicate plates; the waitstaff, dressed neatly and politely, stood by, ready to offer the most attentive service to the esteemed guests on the cruise. However, there were few guests around. Lu Chu, puzzled, asked a nearby waiter: “When do the other guests usually eat?”

The waiter respectfully replied: “Most guests eat between seven and eight-thirty, with a few eating later or not having the habit of eating breakfast.”

Lu Chu nodded. It was past seven-thirty, the supposed busiest time… Perhaps the incident of the previous night’s death had greatly impacted everyone.

After a simple breakfast, Lu Chu said to 7: “Let’s go check the common dining area.”

There were over two thousand passengers on this ship, with noble passengers being a small portion. The majority were regular consumers. Lu Chu wondered if the news of yesterday’s incident had spread among them. After all, the deck and banquet hall were not exclusive to the nobles.

7 agreed and led Lu Chu to the lower deck.

Though termed the economy class common area, it was quite decent, just not as luxurious as the VIP section.

Unlike the sparse VIP section, the common dining area was bustling, almost every table occupied. People eating there didn’t seem too surprised by Lu Chu and 7’s presence. As the captain, 7 didn’t need to meet everyone; dressed in regular clothes, no one recognized them, thus causing no commotion. Only in the corner did a few women whisper, laughing about the two handsome men who seemed like wealthy individuals from the upper deck.

Lu Chu’s gaze swept across the dining area, looking for any suspicious individuals.

Everyone behaved normally, eating, chatting, even joking, discussing their journey and plans.

Seeing such a peaceful scene, Lu Chu couldn’t tell if they hadn’t heard about yesterday’s incident or if they didn’t care—after all, the three victims were wealthy people from the upper deck.

At that moment, a crew member rushed down, found 7, and whispered something in his ear.

7 nodded, indicating he understood, and let the crew member leave.

Lu Chu asked: “What’s the matter?”

Holding Lu Chu’s hand, 7 walked out of the dining area, saying: “Someone is causing a scene.”

Lu Chu immediately understood and followed 7 to the banquet hall.

Some people followed them out of curiosity, but neither Lu Chu nor 7 paid them any mind or drove them away.

The lavish decorations of the banquet hall were removed, looking just like a regular upscale hall, without the decadent atmosphere. A group of well-dressed, dignified people gathered there, surrounding two middle-aged men, discussing something intensely.

Seeing 7, the two men immediately approached: “Captain Shen.”

7 nodded: “The crew said you were looking for me.”

The two middle-aged men exchanged glances, and one said: “Yes, we’d like to end the cruise early and return to shore.”

The other man echoed: “Yes, we want to return to shore.”

7 asked: “Why?”

“Well, yesterday you said anyone with relevant skills could help investigate the deaths by checking the bodies,” one man explained, looking at a few others beside him, “We are actually two police officers, and among the passengers are also two doctors and a detective. We examined the bodies and concluded that the perpetrator is a skilled criminal, leaving almost no traces. They quietly sawed off a man’s leg on the deck. If the first two deaths are related to this person, he might be a serial killer. So, we think it’s best to disembark and have a professional team investigate everyone on board to prevent more deaths.”

“Given the potential risk, I hope Captain Shen makes a decision quickly.”

Others immediately agreed, not wanting to risk their lives for a mere vacation.

After a brief contemplation, 7 agreed, instructing everyone to return to their rooms after breakfast and not wander around. He also told the crew to inform the passengers in the lower deck. The people who had followed Lu Chu and 7 here overheard everything, covered their mouths in shock, asked the crew for details, and quickly ran back to inform the others.

In no time, everyone became extremely cautious and stayed in their rooms.

Return to shore… Lu Chu shook his head helplessly, knowing it was impossible. Trapped in a death game, the devil wouldn’t let them go until it was done playing.

Indeed, upon entering the control room, 7 and Lu Chu found the ship’s navigation system had suddenly malfunctioned, becoming unusable.

Meanwhile, dark storm clouds were rising in the distance, moving towards the cruise ship with the sea breeze. In a few minutes, they’d be upon them.

7 turned on the broadcast, announcing in a calm and steady voice: “Dear passengers, due to a malfunction in the navigation system, the cruise cannot determine its correct location and direction. Additionally, a storm is approaching in a few minutes, making it impossible to set sail for return. Please stay in your rooms and remain calm. We will resolve the issue as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during your trip.”
