QHM Chapter 52 – Part 2

1TL: Part 2Xu Yin was taken aback.

As soon as the words left the head instructor’s mouth, Qin Yuheng’s face was the first to change.

Originally, he was the only omega assistant instructor at this martial arts hall, and now the head instructor wanted to hire another omega instructor, and it was Xu Yin?!

The head instructor explained, “Generally, there aren’t many omega assistant instructors in martial arts halls, but it’s not due to gender discrimination. It’s just that very few omegas reach the level of skill we require. If you join us, you could immediately take on the role of an omega instructor for our advanced classes.”

Qin Yuheng’s expression became even more sour—he was still only an assistant for the beginner courses, and the head instructor’s words implied that Xu Yin’s skills far surpassed his!

Before Xu Yin could respond, Ye Xing excitedly ran forward, “Yes, yes! Big brother, stay and become an instructor! Please teach us!”

His omega friend also timidly approached, her small face flushed with excitement. “Yes, please become an instructor! We… we really want an omega instructor…”

The coach added, “Having an omega instructor would make our omega students feel more comfortable.”

Ye Xing and his friend eagerly nodded.

Someone beside Qin Yuheng muttered, “Isn’t Qin Yuheng enough for you guys? We only have two omega students in the whole school. He’s more than capable of training you, so there’s no need for another omega instructor.”

Qin Yuheng lowered his eyes, pressing his lips together.

Seeing his reaction, his supporters felt sorry for him, even blaming Ye Xing and the others for hurting Qin Yuheng’s feelings.

Ye Xing couldn’t help but laugh in frustration.

“He trains us? When? Every time he’s on duty, we call him, and he drags his feet. The moment you alphas call him, he runs straight to you! He hardly even interacts with the betas!”

Ye Xing’s blunt words left Qin Yuheng momentarily stunned, his face flushing red as he retorted, “I don’t do that! Why are you making it sound like I only care about alphas…”

“Isn’t it the truth?” Ye Xing replied coldly.

Qin Yuheng was immediately infuriated.

One of his supporters chimed in, “Ye Xing, are you just jealous of how popular Qin Yuheng is?”

Ye Xing responded, “Don’t make me sick. I have zero interest in you people, and you should really take a look at yourselves.”

The supporters: “…………”

‘Whoa, no need to get personal!’

Ye Xing firmly said, “Anyway, I think hiring another omega instructor is a great idea!”

And—

He shyly glanced at Xu Yin.

‘This big brother is really amazing!’

Qin Yuheng’s supporters began clamoring again, “But he doesn’t get along with Yuheng! If they start fighting, what then? Who hires like this?!”

The head instructor frowned at this.

It was a valid concern. However, he had been unhappy with Qin Yuheng for quite some time. Qin Yuheng frequently skipped shifts, was lackadaisical during classes, and, as Ye Xing pointed out, only cared about the alpha students while ignoring the beta and omega students.

The head instructor saw his school as a serious learning environment, not Qin Yuheng’s alpha harem. If it came down to choosing between the two, Qin Yuheng was the one he was less inclined to keep.

As the head instructor pondered how to address the issue, his body already reacted unconsciously, and he glanced at Qin Yuheng with an indecisive expression.

Qin Yuheng wasn’t clueless; he immediately noticed the strange look and turned pale.

‘What does the head instructor mean by this?’

‘What kind of look is that??’

Suddenly, Xu Yin spoke up, “Excuse me, just a moment.”

He walked back over to Qi Yuanchu’s side and said, “I originally came here for a trial class with the intent to pursue systematic training and perhaps work here. However, I’ll be leaving this place soon, so whether it’s for classes or a job at the martial arts hall, I’ll have to continue that in Central City.”

He explained to the head instructor that he had planned to purchase a course here and then continue training when he got to Central City.

The head instructor, hearing this, looked disappointed but nodded in understanding.

He wasn’t the type to make empty promises just to sell a course, so he said, “There’s no need to buy a course here. I’ll give you a contact. Once you get to Central City, just reach out to the person in charge there. With your level, you could definitely be an instructor right away.”

Xu Yin was surprised by the head instructor’s kindness, then smiled and said, “Thank you very much.”

With no intention of staying, Qin Yuheng discreetly let out a sigh of relief. However, the memory of the head instructor’s earlier glance left him feeling both embarrassed and angry.

‘No, this isn’t a victory I earned—it’s just something Xu Yin didn’t want!’

‘Since when have I ever felt so frustrated!’

The head instructor, feeling awkward, rubbed his nose when he caught Qin Yuheng’s eye.

As Xu Yin and his group finished their conversation and left the classroom, with Ye Xing following them out in disappointment, Qin Yuheng, unable to hold back his frustration, approached the head instructor with a puffed-up face. “Master, what did you mean by that look just now? If you have any issues with me, just say it directly!”

He believed that with Xu Yin having turned down the offer, the head instructor should have come to his senses by now.

After all, he was the only omega assistant instructor at the school. If the head instructor didn’t apologize and coax him into staying, he might just leave, and then the school would have no omega instructors at all!

He let out a light humph, still puffed up with anger.

The head instructor: “…………”

The head instructor was fed up with Qin Yuheng’s act. He muttered under his breath, ‘Only those naive young alphas can handle your cutesy behavior!’ He shuddered, feeling like he’d lost a few years of his life just from the cringiness.

Taking a deep breath, he said aloud, “I’ve been holding back for a while, but since you want me to speak frankly, I’ll do just that. Just don’t start bawling halfway through.”

Qin Yuheng was stunned. “???”

Meanwhile, Xu Yin and his group had barely left the martial arts hall when they heard a commotion behind them, possibly including Qin Yuheng’s indignant cries. Then, hurried footsteps followed them, and someone called out, “Big brother, are you really leaving soon?”

Xu Yin stopped and turned around to see the omega who had hoped he would stay at the hall.

Surprised to have gained such a devoted fan so quickly, Xu Yin chuckled. “Yes, I’ll be leaving soon.”

Ye Xing looked down, disheartened. “I see… It’s really hard to find an omega as strong as you.”

He bit his lip, then hesitantly asked, “I’m about to take my entrance exams soon. If I manage to get into Central City, can I visit you?”

“Of course.”

Ye Xing’s eyes lit up immediately.

Xu Yin watched the boy’s reaction, thoughts running through his mind.

He knew many omegas didn’t want to be treated like delicate flowers or kept like caged birds. They wanted to break free, to live differently—not just pay lip service like Qin Yuheng, but truly desire a different path.

Xu Yin didn’t see himself as someone with grand ambitions or the power to change the world. But if something was within his reach, he didn’t mind doing what he could.

“I’ll give you my contact information too,” Xu Yin said. “If you ever make it to Central City, feel free to reach out.”

Ye Xing grew even more excited and asked, “Big brother, can I become your apprentice?!”

Xu Yin found it amusing. “If you really get into Central City, I’ll take you on as my little apprentice.”

Ye Xing jumped for joy, his excitement bubbling over.

After exchanging contacts, Ye Xing, feeling bashful, was about to say goodbye when Xu Yin added, “Ye Xing, try not to get into too many arguments with Qin Yuheng, and keep your distance from him.”

Ye Xing was taken aback.

Xu Yin knew how to handle provocations, but he was always aware of the consequences of his actions. Ye Xing, on the other hand, was impulsive and often spoke his mind without fully considering the consequences.

It was one thing to act impulsively with others, but given the uncertain nature of their current situation, Xu Yin felt it wise to caution Ye Xing against getting too close to Qin Yuheng.

Ye Xing thought for a moment and said, “Big brother, I understand. Qin Yuheng’s mom is involved with the rights committee, and although I don’t know about other places, the committee here is pretty shady. They have a lot of power, and if Qin Yuheng complains to his mom, they can make someone apologize right away.”

Xu Yin was surprised.

This kid knew all of that?

Ye Xing flashed a wide grin. “Don’t worry, big brother. I’m aware of what’s going on. I wouldn’t confront him if I didn’t know the situation. Qin Yuheng wouldn’t dare go after me.”

Oh, so he’s not just some ordinary kid either.

Xu Yin smiled and nodded. “Good to hear.”

After saying goodbye to Ye Xing, Qi Yuanchu draped his arm over Xu Yin’s shoulder.

Xu Yin remarked calmly, “It seems Qin Yuheng isn’t completely ignorant of what his mom’s been doing behind the scenes.”

Qi Yuanchu responded coolly, “His hypocrisy is just like his mother’s.”

Someone with so much blood on their hands couldn’t possibly raise a pure, innocent child.

Xu Yin smiled.

This is already the fourth world, and they encounter these kinds of pretentious people almost every time. But it seems like the old partner has never been deceived.

Xu Yin turned and said with a light laugh, “You have a sharp eye.”

“His disguise is very low-level; it’s those who were deceived by him who are too foolish.” Qi Yuanchu frowned slightly, his tone showing some disdain.

Xu Yin laughed out loud.

Qi Yuanchu looked at him, somewhat puzzled, but the young man’s smile was too charming. He patted the young man’s head, couldn’t help but lean in to kiss his lips, and subtly released his pheromones.

Xu Yin: Hiss, now he’s already actively trying to seduce me—how overwhelming.
