ABV Chapter 88.2

The not peaceful night

The program team erected two boards more than three meters high in the open space of the shooting range. On the boards, a calligraphy practice blanket that changed color when it touched water was hung as the “target”. There is a line five meters away from the target paper, and a chair is placed in front of the line. Behind the chair is a fixed water gun.

At the beginning of the competition, the players of each team take turns sitting on the chair guessing the words drawn using the water guns by the players behind them. The prompts are given by the instructor, and the members in the chairs will swap and take turns guessing after guessing correctly.

After each team has guessed ten words correctly, the team with less time wins.

Over the last few days, not everyone was able to participate in the entertainment competition. Previously it was outdoor camping and cooking, and then there was the sparring match in which only 2 guests took part in. Having the chance to finally participate in an interesting competition, everyone in the star class was eager to learn from the soldier class again.

The game started soon, and Chu Yinlong was the first to guess the word.

Jiang Qiulin stood behind him, looking at the word “country” written on the card, his face confident – how can he not write such a simple word?

As a result, it turns out that he is really not good at “writing”.

“Sh*t! The range of the water gun is not enough! Are you asking me to write with a parabola?”

There was a big wet streak.

The soldier class next to them didn’t fare much better. The sharpshooters couldn’t handle the strange water angles, so a group of little soldiers beat their chests and feet in the back:

“Hey, go up! The water will arc down!”

“Push the trigger harder! Push harder!”

“It’s messed up! Can you guess it?!”

This type of scene continued on both sides. Jiang Qiulin quickly mastered the use of the water gun, drew a crooked box on the target paper, and finally filled it in.

As soon as he drew a horizontal line in the frame, Chu Yinlong immediately began to guess: “Country?”

“Right!” Jiang Qiulin put down the water gun and clapped his hands.

Then Chu Yinlong gave way, Jiang Qiulin sat down on the chair and waited for Cheng Zhiyi to write.

Cheng Zhiyi made streaks of water all over the sheet.

Finally, when the soldier team finally guessed their first word, Jiang Qiulin blurted out: “Body?”

Cheng Zhiyi jumped up: “That’s right! Next!”

Jiao Dao was next. Sure enough, the range of the water gun was very strange. There was no good way to do it, so he could only bite the bullet.

He turned over the card and saw a “protect”1顾 is often used with other words, such as to mean “consider” “attend” or “look after”. It can also mean to protect or defend. written on it, and his head suddenly became big – this word is troublesome, it has no structural characteristics, the strokes are very concentrated, and can easily become a mess if the water gun is not controlled well.

Cheng Zhiyi was not idle. From the very first time Jiang Dao began “writing”, he started to make random guesses, not only making Jiang Dao want to slap him on the head, but even the soldier class began learning his style.

In the chaos, Jiang Dao finally made a rough shape on the target paper. Cheng Zhiyi guessed three times in a row, and finally guessed it. He was instantly elated.

Immediately afterwards, Jiang Dao quickly guessed the “stand” written by Lin Chu. Then the star class continued to win again and again, ending the “shooting” competition three words ahead of the soldier class.

Seeing that the soldier class was downcast, Sun Qi, who had been quiet for a long time, suddenly said, “Protect the family and defend the country, stand upright… It seems that our words and theirs can form an idiom?”

After he said this, everyone reacted. They immediately recalled what words were written and compared them with the soldier class.

“You’re right!”

Yuwen Feiyang simply picked up the prompt cards, greeted the soldier class, and put them together.

In the end, everyone completed five idioms – defend home and country, be brave and loyal, move forward bravely, disregard one’s own safety, and stand upright.

Looking at the five idioms placed side by side on the table, the star class didn’t have much feeling, but the eyes of several more emotional soldiers were already red.

“These five idioms, you deserve it.” Chu Yinlong said with a smile. “We can play this game so easily here because you are silently guarding us. It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose this game, because I believe that wherever you are needed, you will be victorious in battle!!”2Original idiom translates to ‘fight 100 battles, win 100 battles’, aka to be victorious in battle. I simplified it

“Victory in battle!!” Jiang Dao shouted.

Immediately, everyone in the star class laughed and shouted, “Victory in battle!”

In the soldier class, some naughty little warriors also shouted: “Victory in battle!”

Finally, everyone looked at each other and smiled, no longer caring about the results of the competition.

After the sixth day of filming, the formal training of “Stars in Military Uniforms” is over.

On the morning of the seventh day, a very simple graduation ceremony was arranged. In addition to the afternoon when they just arrived at the barracks and the real life of the soldiers captured by Group B, the contents will be edited into 12 episodes, enough for one season.

At noon, the star class and the program team officially left the barracks. The guests gathered for lunch in a nearby city, took a group photo, and then left with their agents or assistants.

Sitting in Chu Yinlong’s business car, Jiang Dao immediately relaxed, nestled in the seat as if he was boneless, and asked with a smile, “When can we go to adopt a big dog?”

Chu Yinlong watched him sit down like that helplessly. “Why did you sit so upright when you were in the military camp, and become like this in my car?”

Jiang Dao smiled and said, “That’s a military camp, but not here. How can it be the same?”

His eyes roamed around the car, reached out and pulled the partition between the back seat and the driver’s seat, and closed the curtains.

Then he bowed towards Chu Yinlong’s ear and lowered his voice: “Do you want to try something exciting?”

Chu Yinlong felt a sudden throbbing in his heart, and his breathing suddenly became hot.

While kissing him, Jiang Dao untied his belt, and then slowly moved down…

After fooling around in the car for a while, Chu Yinlong’s rational brain came back online and he felt that he had done a little too much.

He was originally very restrained, especially in that respect. Before meeting Jiang Dao, he would never indulge. But now, he actually dared to mess around in a car – Jiang Dao is really to blame.

Rubbing Jiang Dao’s head in disbelief, Chu Yinlong helped tidy up their messy clothes and opened the car window.

Jiang Dao sat contentedly on Chu Yinlong’s leg, rubbed comfortably, and hummed, “I’m tired, I’ll sleep for a while.”

Chu Yinlong brushed his hair lightly with his fingers, and said quietly: “Go to sleep.”

The car drove smoothly on the highway, swaying but not bumpy.

Jiang Dao’s phone slowly slipped out of his pocket from the motions. Seeing that it was about to fall into the crack of the car seat, Chu Yinlong simply reached out and took it out, ready to put it in the groove of the door handle.

Coincidentally, the phone suddenly vibrated, and a WeChat notification popped up.

A message came from Sun Qi: “Jiang Dao, I look forward to meeting…”

The rest of the text was omitted due to the length.

Chu Yinlong stared at the half message for a while, until the screen dimmed, and then he gently put the phone into the groove of the car door.

After sleeping for about forty minutes, Jiang Dao woke up and stretched. When he spoke, his voice was slightly hoarse: “I say, I was wondering why I dreamed of being crushed in the water by a big stone. What’s up with your hand on my chest…”

Chu Yinlong flipped his palm, intertwined with Jiang Dao’s fingers, and took Jiang Dao’s cell phone with his other hand and handed it to him.

“Huh?” Jiang Dao took the phone, not knowing why.

“It almost slipped out of your pocket, so I put it away for you first.” Chu Yinlong said casually.

Jiang Dao didn’t care. Seeing a new message reminder, he didn’t guard against Chu Yinlong. Leaning on his lap, he unlocked the screen, and clicked on the message sent by Sun Qi—

“Jiang Dao, I look forward to meeting and cooperating with you again in the future. You are a very good artist.”

Jiang Dao read it silently, and then directly quit WeChat and locked the screen without replying.

Chu Yinlong asked: “Why don’t you reply?”

Jiang Dao laughed: “How can I, there is a jealous person at home. I can’t just reply to other people… Hey, did you already see it, and was waiting for me?”

Seeing that Chu Yinlong didn’t answer, Jiang Dao sat up, leaned into the man’s ear and asked, “Do you feel so insecure? Are you afraid that I’m interested in both men and women?”

Chu Yinlong smiled bitterly. “Yes, I’m afraid you will use the means to seduce me on others…”

Jiang Dao blinked his eyes, sat up straight, faced Chu Yinlong, and asked, “Are you afraid that because it was easy for me to sleep with you back then, that I’m like that – hooking up with other people so easily?”

After a moment of silence, Chu Yinlong raised his hand and stroked Jiang Dao’s cheek, with a helpless smile. “I know you won’t, but I can’t help thinking about it. Your attitude towards going to bed with people… It does make me feel a little insecure. Of course, I believe you, but…”

“…But,” Jiang Dao grabbed Chu Yinlong’s hand with a smile in his eyes, and said softly, “You’re afraid of losing me, I know.”

After all, love is the collision between two different individuals, and it is inevitable to have such emotions. If these emotions are always hidden, they may cause irreversible conflict to break out one day. It’s better to be honest with each other and talk out such emotions and find a way to balance both sides.

Jiang Dao put his arms around Chu Yinlong’s neck and whispered in his ear, like an incubus hooking people into depravity. “Teacher Chu is so afraid of losing me. Have you thought there’s a better way than being jealous, such as… Letting me not have the strength to seduce others? Huh?”

Chu Yinlong pinched Jiang Dao’s waist: “You really—”

“—I don’t know what to do with you!” The two of them said in unison.

They finally returned to Yan City in the evening.

The two assistants who followed them were given bonuses and two days of vacation. Chu Yinlong sent them away, closed the door, turned around, grabbed Jiang Dao’s wrist, and brought him straight to the bedroom on the second floor.

The night was clearly not going to be peaceful.
