By the side of the swimming pool, Nais stood with his back to the water, the sound of the excited youth’s shouts in his ears.
“Hurry! Take the picture!” Bo Ge’s face was flushed with excitement as he looked up, one hand pressing against his nose. He directed the scepter swiftly, “I want a holographic one, 360 degrees, no dead angles!”
“Little Master, don’t tilt your head if you have a nosebleed,” the scepter reminded Gugu kindly as it filmed, “If the blood flows into your throat too much, it could cause suffocation.”
“I’ve been feeling a bit feverish lately.” Bo Ge quickly stepped to the edge of the pool, splashing water on his forehead and cheeks.
The water reflected Gugu’s smile, which couldn’t help but lift at the corners of his mouth, even though he had a nosebleed.
Half an hour ago, under Bo Ge’s guidance, Lie Beishuang had put on a cute bunny pajama set. The bunny ears could change with the wearer’s mood. Suppressing a smile, Bo Ge pulled the man in front of a mirror. The moment the man saw his pink and tender appearance, the two bunny ears stood tall, and he immediately turned his head and ran away.
The man fled too quickly, and it was only with the help of Butler Nais that Bo Ge managed to find the bunny hidden at the bottom of the swimming pool.
“Don’t be shy.” Gugu instructed the steward quickly to take pictures for memories, and pulled out set after set of cute little pajamas. The man stood in the pool, refusing to come out, creating a scene of seduction in wet pajamas.
I have to say, Lie Beishuang has a good sense of aesthetics. For example, the silky pajamas that were just barely visible after being soaked in water looked doubly fabulous!
Nosebleeds dripped into the pool. Bo Ge reached out, splashing water onto his cheeks. Suddenly, a shadow fell before him. Bo Ge lifted his head and saw the man dripping wet, water streaming down his hair, following his cheek, gathering at his jawline, dripping onto his chest, tracing the contours of his muscles, flowing down in a meandering path.
The man’s eyes were a pure red, like a top-grade clear ruby, without any impurities. His thin lips were tightly pursed, his face cool and handsome, exuding a pure desire.
It was like he had caught a spring fever; even soaking in the cold water couldn’t cool his restless heart.
Gugu was momentarily stunned, unable to look away. The man exuded a rich, intense aroma, like a ripe fruit at its peak, so fragrant that anyone who smelled it couldn’t resist wanting to devour him.
In Gugu’s heart, it felt like little claws were scratching at him, as if he were being enchanted. He gradually moved closer to the man, the tempting fruit right before his eyes, just a reach away…
Suddenly, the man reached out and grabbed Gugu’s shoulder.
Huh? Bo Ge was taken aback.
With immense strength, the man pulled Gugu into the water. Bo Ge floundered for a moment, but the man quickly scooped him up, allowing Bo Ge’s head to surface, while he swam towards the center of the pool with one hand paddling.
The young master was bleeding. Nais hurriedly fetched a hemostatic device, but before he could approach the youth, he saw the master, who had been hiding in the center of the pool, swiftly approaching the youth.
Nais’ conscience told him he should give the master a chance to perform.
Nais slowly stepped back, waiting for the sweet moment. In the next moment, he saw the master suddenly take action, pulling the youth into the water, holding him tightly in his arms, swiftly swimming towards the middle of the pool.
The sequence of movements was so fluid, like a sea nymph in the ocean depths, lurking in the shadows. Upon seeing the desired land creature approaching the shore, he swiftly took action, seizing him and carrying him back to the ocean.
“Ahem.” Bo Ge coughed out a little water. They swiftly unclasped the shiny button from their wrist and quickly fastened it onto Gugu’s hand, then swiftly fastened another button on Gugu’s other hand.
Bo Ge felt a sudden chill on their body. They looked down and saw that they were left with only a semi-transparent little pair of shorts.
In the water, semi-transparent was practically transparent. As Bo Ge glanced down, Big Cat also looked down, seeing little Gugu and revealing a smile.
Bo Ge gradually lifted their head. Big Cat quickly restrained their smile, their face becoming expressionless, pretending they hadn’t seen anything.
“You, you…” Bo Ge covered little Gugu with one hand, pointing at Big Cat who had no clothes covering their body, their face so hot it could fry pancakes.
The accidental exposure of little Gugu wasn’t the most infuriating part. What made Gugu angrier was that after Big Cat unbuttoned their button, their body was also bare, standing opposite them. When they looked down, it was a stark and cruel contrast!
The comparison was unbearable!
Bo Ge had never been defeated so thoroughly before; they were almost in tears from anger.
“You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?” Bo Ge’s eyes welled with bitter tears as they punched Big Cat’s chest. “You’re intentionally doing this!”
Big Cat remained poker-faced, their eyes showing a hint of confusion, innocence, and a touch of pity.
Gugu was so angry their liver ached. They raised their hand and pounded Big Cat’s chest muscles. Could they make them even? No, they couldn’t.
“Cough.” Big Cat weakly coughed, not backing away but instead getting closer to the irate human teenager. They reached out and hugged them tightly, rubbing their cheek against Gugu’s face, then burying their face in Gugu’s hair, taking a deep breath, and gently biting Gugu’s cheek and earlobe, licking Gugu’s raised little Adam’s apple, exceptionally attentive.
Gugu’s heart was filled with tears.
Was this the consolation of “not minding your smallness”?
Climbing out of the pool, Bo Ge’s face was tense. They ignored Big Cat, who obediently followed behind Gugu, eager to hold hands, but Gugu wouldn’t let them touch.
Big Cat had to go to work the next day, so they could only sleep at Bo Ge’s place that night. Gugu chose a smart bed and lay flat. Not even three seconds later, a sneaky figure of a cat jumped onto the bed.
Gugu took a deep breath, ready to start pounding again. When they opened their eyes, the huge leopard lay obediently beside them.
Facing the black leopard, Bo Ge couldn’t bring themselves to do it.
Not to mention that even if the black leopard had been an ordinary plush toy, Gugu wouldn’t have been able to do it.
With an annoyed sigh, Bo Ge turned to sleep on their side. They were having trouble falling asleep.
To be fair, Big Cat hadn’t really done anything wrong. The main reason Gugu was angry was simply because they couldn’t measure up to Big Cat.
It was like in a past life, going to a public restroom to relieve oneself, when suddenly someone stood beside them, secretly glancing at each other, and the winner and loser were immediately apparent. The winner was triumphant, even whistling, while the loser, though seething with anger, couldn’t show it on the spot and could only stew in frustration after leaving the restroom.
The battle of egos among men had never ceased.
Even a thousand years later, the loser could be so infuriated that they couldn’t sleep all night, only managing to close their eyes at dawn, with dreams that were strange and bizarre.
It was as if they were back in a past life’s marketplace, where Gugu was selecting vegetables. They picked up a small carrot and was about to put it in their bag when a man in a high-end suit nearby expressionlessly picked up a giant carrot and put it in his own bag.
In Gugu’s dreams, they still couldn’t accept it. They turned around and picked up a thick eggplant. The man glanced indifferently at Gugu, then slowly picked up a lotus root.
A lotus root!
Fuming in their dream, Gugu searched the vegetable stall frantically. Finally, they found an extra thick white radish. It seemed like they had outdone the man, who then lowered his eyes silently.
Finally surpassing the man, Bo Ge was exultant, hugging the big white radish happily. The radish was still warm, fluffy. Out of curiosity, Bo Ge decided to taste it. As they took a bite, they suddenly heard a “giao” sound.
“Hm?” Gugu looked perplexed at the large white radish. Since when could radishes imitate leopard cries?
Curiously lowering their head and taking another bite, the big white radish started moving on its own, incessantly crying out “giaogiao.”
Slowly, dream and reality merged. Bo Ge opened their eyes to find themselves clutching the plush leg of Big Cat, surprisingly noticing the saliva and teeth marks they left on the leopard’s leg.
Exceptionally vivid.
“Giao~” Big Cat let out a pitiful cry.
Bo Ge lifted their head, seeing the pitiful look in Big Cat’s blood-red eyes.
“Cough, cough.” Gugu quickly released the leopard leg, wiping their mouth hastily.
The big leopard weakly struggled to sit up, lifting the bitten leg, hobbling away from the bed. Adopting a stance of endurance and “I won’t complain about my grievance,” it left Gugu dumbfounded.
Did they bite that hard?
“Today, the master’s condition remains unchanged. Perhaps, young master, you should take the master to the Black Pearl,” the scepter sighed regretfully while watching Big Cat’s departing figure.
“The Black Pearl?” Bo Ge had heard of this place—a top-ranking office of the Alliance, akin to the White House of their previous life in the States.
“Can I go in?” Bo Ge hesitated.
“Of course!” The scepter extended its mechanical hand, patting its own spherical body. “Young master, have you forgotten what I do?”
“Um…” Bo Ge blinked at the small golden sphere. “Speaking of which, what exactly do you do?”
The scepter was at a loss for words, turning away to calm itself in the corner.
With Nais’ explanation, Gugu learned that the scepter was a trusted aide to the Chief Executives of the past, much like the presidential secretary of their previous life, but with even greater authority—controlling all administrative AIs, including the marriage matchmaking system.
“Impressive,” Gugu applauded the scepter.
“It’s nothing,” the scepter regained its confidence, rolling back from the corner. “I can now grant you access to the Black Pearl and the Chief Executive’s office, but all of this is strictly confidential.”
Gugu nodded solemnly.
“You must conceal the fact that the master is in full estrus. It’s best not to let anyone discover that the master is in this state, to prevent any potential exploitation of the situation,” the scepter cautioned seriously. “I’ve already briefed the Lieres family and have been monitoring their movements to ensure they don’t cause trouble for the master. However, I can’t fully monitor everyone in the Black Pearl.”
“I understand,” Gugu replied seriously.
“You can do it!” The scepter encouraged Gugu. “We have a private channel that generally avoids encounters with others, but still be cautious of unexpected visitors. Don’t let them detect any clues.”
After having breakfast prepared by Nais the butler, Bo Ge took Big Cat towards the Black Pearl. Bo Ge had never seen such a massive floating structure before—it resembled a gigantic black pearl in appearance.
“This is the private channel directly to the Chief Executive’s area,” the scepter guided ahead, with Bo Ge following closely. Big Cat hobbled along beside them, struggling to keep up.
Passing through the private channel required several security procedures: iris, fingerprint, and facial scans, followed unexpectedly by a full-body cat scan that resembled an electric grid used to capture dangerous animals.
Big Cat flashed past scenes of violent capture, their eyes wide with terror, clinging tightly to Bo Ge’s waist.
“Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid,” Bo Ge reassured. Now accustomed to the mechanical exoskeleton, they easily lifted the frightened leopard, kissing its forehead to comfort Big Cat.
Despite their unhappiness the previous day, seeing Big Cat so scared and pitiful now, combined with their partner knowledge, Bo Ge’s anger dissipated.
They didn’t hold a grudge against the fully estrus Big Cat, knowing they would forget everything upon waking.
Calmly, the leopard, soothed by the human, gradually relaxed, nuzzling against Bo Ge’s chest and raising its leopard face in desire, wanting another kiss from Bo Ge.
“Master, young master, there are cameras ahead. Please stay calm,” the scepter reminded them both.
Bo Ge let go of Big Cat, but the leopard refused to relent, claws hooking onto Bo Ge’s clothes, refusing to let go.
“Just one kiss, then stand still,” Bo Ge said softly, bending down to kiss the leopard’s face. Moving quickly, before Big Cat could react, they pulled away its claws and set it aside.
Through the direct access channel, Bo Ge, leading the big cat, successfully entered the office area and quickly entered the chief’s office. The scepter locked the office door, ensuring no problems had arisen thus far
Thanks to Big Cat’s early awareness and foresight, many files were processed in advance with overtime efforts. Now, Bo Ge and the fully estrus Big Cat were sitting on the smart sofa in the office, staring at each other.
“Is your leg still hurting?” Bo Ge reached out. “Let me massage it for you.”
Big Cat, slightly shy, extended a paw.
Bo Ge leaned down and diligently massaged Big Cat’s leg. Big Cat hummed softly and lay comfortably on the sofa, eyes half-closed.
On the other side, in contrast to this tranquil scene, the scepter was nearly driven mad with work, constantly responding to messages, sending out files, explaining to collaborators about extending deadlines, and managing its AI subordinates. By early morning, it rolled straight into the cryogenic chamber, almost on the verge of tears.
“Poor thing,” Gugu lay on top of Big Cat, watching the projection. They had secretly bought a few snacks and were eating them with the leopard.
A day without work passed unusually quickly. Gugu even managed to catch up on some sleep, waking up just as Big Cat was finishing work.
“We can go now,” Bo Ge glanced at the time on their brain’s display, smiling happily. “Let’s go back just in time for dinner.”
The scepter dragged its weary body and settled into Gugu’s pocket. Bo Ge patted Big Cat with one hand, and as their fingers touched the office door, the intelligent security system suddenly announced:
“You have a new visitor.”
A hologram of a bald parrot appeared in front of Gugu. Its bare wings looked remarkably like chicken wings!
