ARIWLBBC Chapter 77

Win-Win Cooperation

The Abel Main Star has several free trading centers. Hai Tu took Gu Gu to the one she frequents the most, which is very close to the First Military Academy. Most of the patrons in the trading center are students, all brimming with youth and are handsome or beautiful. The fitted school uniforms further highlight the unique characteristics of the school.

Gu Gu was dazzled, even starting to imagine what it would look like for a big cat to wear such a uniform.

“I have a classmate who rents a spot here to sell student supplies; her business is quite good. After deducting various expenses, she can make around ten to twenty thousand credit points a month,” Hai Tu chatted with Bo Ge. “Sometimes she collaborates with school clubs or the student council from her department, and now she’s thinking about expanding her business and even asked me if I wanted to join.”

“What kind of student supplies does she sell?” Bo Ge asked, noticing that the trading center didn’t have much in terms of paper or notebooks; instead, it was filled with mechanical goods.

“She’s a combat department student, so of course, she sells external armor materials for mechs, parts for mechanical exoskeletons, and some maintenance products for mechs, like various paints,” Hai Tu glanced at Gu Gu.

“Her store also has items for culture department students, such as various packaged resource collections, dictionaries, seeds, soil from various typical planets, plant nutrients, and experimental specimens.”

“But the most profitable items are still the external armor materials for mechs,” Hai Tu sighed. “The combat department really burns through cash, especially in the mech class, where even a small mistake can lead to parts being scrapped. The professors in the mech class are very strict; they won’t let you use faulty mechs in class.

Because military academy students have limitations on how often they can go out, it’s even tougher for those in the combat department. Many custom materials for mechs aren’t sold online, and many nearby merchants intentionally raise their prices. If my classmate wasn’t under pressure, she wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of finding manufacturers and sourcing her own goods, ultimately renting a store to sell.”

“Should we go check out your classmate, Teacher Tu?” Gu Gu was intrigued; he was super interested in mechs and wanted to visit the combat department. Understanding a bit more now might be beneficial in the future.

“I’ll ask her if she’s available.” Hai Tu opened her light brain and stepped aside to contact her, while Gu Gu curiously looked around. The shopping center here was also divided into underground, ground, and aerial sections.

Hai Tu brought him to the ground-level shopping center, surrounded by neatly arranged, clean, and bright physical stores. Gu Gu stood in front of a huge, colorful promotional projection, looking up in awe.

In a scene of silence and desolation, a pure fairy bowed her head in tears, her tears dripping onto the gray, withered leaves, which instantly revived and stretched out. With the withered leaves as the center, the surrounding plants regained life. The fairy clasped her hands in front of her chest, gazing at everything before her in a trance, as a gentle breeze blew, causing her long hair to dance gracefully as all things awakened.

Bo Ge stared blankly at the fairy in the projection, feeling not only awed by her beauty but also a strange sense of familiarity.

This fairy gave Gu Gu a sense of déjà vu.

Turning his head, he saw Hai Tu was on a call, so Gu Gu stepped into a store that he didn’t know the purpose of. As soon as he entered, he was enveloped by a delicate fragrance, making him feel light and airy.

“Hello.” A robot resembling a fairy approached, smiling at the human before it. “May I help you with something?”

“That fairy in the promotional video, who is she, and what does she sell?” Gu Gu was sure he had seen this fairy before but couldn’t remember where.

“She is our brand ambassador for Kachiro, Princess Luomuer.” The fairy-like robot raised its hand, and a delicate transparent flower 3D projection appeared in its palm. “This is Kachiro’s latest solid fragrance, ‘Revival of All Things.’ Would you like to try it?”

“Princess?” Bo Ge suddenly recalled where he had seen this fairy before.

In a dream.

When he had been poking at the little black panther’s felt, waiting for the big cat to fall asleep, Gu Gu had dreamt of a strange ball, where the tool-like black panther danced elegantly with this princess, while another fairy in a blue noble dress seemed to control the dream.

“Yes, this fairy possesses noble blood and is a true fairy princess.” The robot displayed a beautiful image of the princess, showcasing the unforgettable, ethereal pointed-eared fairy.

“Does she have a partner?”

Seeing a character from his dream in real life made Gu Gu unable to resist wanting to learn more.

“Princess Luomuer wants to become a queen; she has rejected many suitors and is solely focused on inheriting the great cause of the fairy race,” the robot smiled. “If you like Princess Lu, you can follow her. If you can catch her attention, perhaps she will chat with you privately.”

Gu Gu fell into deep thought for a moment.

He simply couldn’t imagine how to catch the attention of this ethereal princess who wanted to become queen.

Imagining her heavenly face saying, “Human, you have successfully caught my attention.”

No matter how he thought about it, it felt odd.

“Forget it,” Bo Ge sighed. “I was just asking out of curiosity.”

“Then would you like to purchase this ‘Revival of All Things’?” The robot’s smile carried a hint of eagerness and nervousness.

“Sure.” Bo Ge generously extended his hand; he now had credit points and an unlimited limit, feeling as if he had overnight transformed from poverty to riches.

“Okay!” The fairy-like robot quickly retrieved a packaged “Revival of All Things” and lightly tapped Bo Ge’s light brain.

“Do you want to pay 1188 credit points to ‘Kachiro’ fragrance store?”

A tiny solid fragrance flower costs 1188 credit points! Gu Gu widened his eyes in shock but quickly calmed down.

Forget it, he was already here.

With a slight feeling of heartache, Gu Gu completed the payment and saw the fairy-like robot’s arm light up with a “3,” next to it was a red number showing “288.”

“Is this your sales performance?” Gu Gu asked curiously. “You sold that many credit points, that’s impressive.”

“I’m not that impressive,” the fairy-like robot displayed a bitter smile, instinctively covering the number on its arm with its hand.

An increase of 1188 credit points equating to three points of performance means that this robot had sold at least 110,000 credit points worth of goods.

And the fact that the robot had just said “I” indicated it had self-awareness.

At the very least, it was a high-end model or had survived in the crowd for a long time.

Gu Gu didn’t quite understand the awakening of robots, but the fairy-like robot smiled, “May I assist you with anything else?”

“No, I don’t need anything else.” Bo Ge instinctively felt the robot’s tone was a bit strange as he left the store. The robot escorted Gu Gu to the door and deeply bowed to the human youth, “Welcome to visit again.”

“Oh my human, you scared me to death.” Hai Tu found the boy, nearly sweating in anxiety. “I thought I lost you.”

“How could I get lost? I’m a grown person.” Bo Ge showed Hai Tu the small bag. “I bought a fragrance; I didn’t run around.”

“My classmate just happened to be here. She was thrilled to hear a human was coming,” Hai Tu proudly straightened her chest. “Bringing you here really boosts my image.”

Hai Tu led Gu Gu to the top floor of the ground shopping center, and in a corner, Bo Ge finally saw his classmate’s store that Hai Tu had mentioned.

The store was packed with a vast array of items, with shelves reaching the ceiling and filled with various parts and daily necessities, resembling a general store.

“Hello!” A cheerful voice came, and Gu Gu looked down to see a short little robot.

“Where’s your owner?” Hai Tu bent down, patting the little robot’s shiny head. “I just spoke to her; where did she go?”

“As soon as she heard a human was coming, she went to change clothes and do her makeup,” the little robot’s eyes curved in a smile. “I’ve already sent a notification to her.”

“My classmate is usually busy with business and a bit unkempt; I haven’t seen her all dolled up,” Hai Tu warned Bo Ge. “Don’t let her scare you.”

Bo Ge nodded obediently and began to wander inside the store. Among the heaps of goods, there was hardly any space to stand. If there were a larger store that could be organized properly, it would definitely sell better.

Bo Ge had never run a business and had no experience; he just felt that there were so many items, all mixed together.

It was truly impressive that a still-studying girl could find so many suppliers for goods.

“Sorry to keep you waiting!” A sweet female voice lifted Gu Gu’s spirits.

After spending the day looking at Teacher Hai Tu’s sweet appearance and listening to her deep voice like a big man, hearing this sweet voice felt like salvation for Gu Gu’s ears.

“Hello, human!”

A girl in a pink dress walked quickly from beside the shelves, with almond-shaped eyes and a delicate nose, pure and captivating.

However…

Gu Gu looked up into the girl’s eyes, wondering how she could make her two eyes look in different directions? That was even harder than having cross-eyed vision!

“Bo Ge, this is my classmate I told you about. She’s modeled after a flounder, and her name is Yu Mu Mu; you can call her Sister Yu,” Hai Tu introduced.

“Hello, Sister!” Gu Gu extended his hand politely.

“Hello.” Yu Mu Mu shook hands with Gu Gu, tugging at her dress, shyly smiling. “You came, so why bring a gift?”

After saying that, she took the small bag from Gu Gu’s hand, her face filled with surprise. “Wow, it’s Kachiro’s latest fragrance! You’re so generous, human! I really love you!”

Gu Gu paused for a moment, blocking Hai Tu, who was awkwardly trying to get the bag back.

“I’ll give you a gift too.” Yu Mu Mu skillfully navigated through the shelves, accurately pulling out a small chip and handing it to Gu Gu.

“This contains all the dictionaries you’ll need for school,” the flounder sister said earnestly. “You must study well! I love humans who study seriously the most!”

“Thank you, Sister.” Gu Gu accepted the chip, feeling like he got a good deal. But… suddenly he wasn’t sure he wanted to study seriously anymore.

“This place is way too cramped.” Hai Tu said, struggling to find a place to stand. “Haven’t you thought about expanding the store?”

“I thought about it before, but the nearby store won’t rent. There’s only a bigger store on the 6th floor available for rent, but they require an annual lease and a lump-sum payment, and I’m trying to gather the money,” Yu Mu Mu sighed. “Recently, a professor from the combat department required students to buy chainsaw-powered daggers, which cost two to three thousand credit points outside. I managed to find a supplier and negotiated the price down to 998. I currently have about five to six hundred students pre-ordering from me. I need to order a large batch, but I don’t have enough credit points to rent the 6th-floor store.”

“How much can you earn from this order, Sister?” Bo Ge looked up, curiously watching the girl.

“To be honest with you, my cost price is 998, plus my travel and various shipping expenses. I plan to sell at a small profit of 1200 each. If I sell this batch, I can make this amount,” Yu Mu Mu said, showing a figure with her fingers. “Even so, I’m still selling at the lowest price, much lower than other stores by several hundred credit points. Eight hundred credit points are enough for an ordinary student’s living expenses for a month.”

“The other store owners won’t have an issue with that, right?” Hai Tu looked at her friend with concern.

“They’ve been unhappy about it for a while and even wrote a complaint letter to my counselor,” the girl dismissed. “They’re just greedy, doubling the price of the parts. How can students afford that? My counselor managed to suppress the matter and talked to me about it. But I still sell at a low price. So what if they don’t like it?”

“Sister, you’re amazing.” Bo Ge couldn’t help but admire her; a girl like this was simply too cool.

“If I had a bigger store, that would be great,” Yu Mu Mu looked at her tiny shop and couldn’t help but sigh. “I don’t even have space to put my goods. Those store owners mock me, saying my place is a flea market and that it poses safety hazards. It’s so frustrating.”

“Sister,” Bo Ge felt a spark of inspiration. “How about I invest in you?”
