ABLO Chapter 2

Grandpa Lu was getting angrier and angrier as he thought about it. Ruan Mian’s father had left so much inheritance, but Ruan Donglin was ungrateful and treated his only nephew like this. He really didn’t care about family affection and was unworthy of being a man.

“Baby Lu! Look what mom bought for you and Xiao Mian!”

Ning Mixiang walked in from the yard in high heels, opened the door, and shouted without hesitation, and when Lu Yang wanted to cover Ruan Mian’s ears, it was too late.

Ruan Mian shivered with alarm and woke up with sleepy eyes.

Lu Yang picked up the lop-eared rabbit, placed him in his palm, and patted him gently. The lop-eared rabbit nestled in Lu Yang’s palm, blinked, and gradually woke up.

Lu Yang frowned and dodged her hand, “Don’t touch.”

The fur on the lop-eared rabbit’s body was soft, felt smooth, and comfortable to touch. Ruan Mian jumped down from Lu Yang’s palm, turned back into human form, said hello to Grandpa Lu, and smiled at Ning Mixiang obediently, “Auntie, you are back.”

He did not sleep last night and cried secretly, so his eyes were slightly red and swollen. Because he was not energetic enough, when he turned back into human form, his two ears had not changed back yet, and they hung limply between the soft, light brown hair, looking pitiful.

If Ruan Mian told her about it, she would definitely go and beat Ruan Donglin directly, so Ruan Mian and the grandfather and grandson of the Lu family tacitly didn’t mention it to her; otherwise, the matter would not only not be solved but would become worse.

Ning Mixiang stretched out her hand to touch Ruan Mian’s hair and said in a rare gentle voice: “Remember to tell auntie if there is anything.”

“No need, Auntie.” Ruan Mian shyly lowered his gaze. Ever since Ning Muxiang found out about his family situation, she often bought clothes for Lu Yang and would include a gift for him as well. He felt quite embarrassed about it.

Grandpa Lu smiled while drinking tea: “Xiao Mian, don’t refuse. Mixiang is at her happiest when she buys clothes for you guys.”

Ning Mixiang stood at the door and waved to him reluctantly, “Xiao Mian, tomorrow is Baby Lu’s sixteenth birthday; remember to come early.”

“I know, auntie.” Ruan Mian smiled. Since he and Lu Yang met in kindergarten, they have celebrated their birthdays together for so many years, and this year will naturally be no exception.

Lu Yang came out with his shoes on and said, without raising his head, “I’ll take you back.”

Ruan Mian watched him run into the ice cream shop, so he had to hide under the shade of the tree honestly, obeying so well that not a single strand of hair showed.
