BFWGSW Chapter 6

I looked back to find that there is a hallway outside the operating theatre. The hallway has a total of six operating theatres, which is similar to the arrangement of the teaching building. Except for the operating theatre where I am now, the other several have their red lights on during the operation. The doctors in the operating theatres hadn’t dared to come out with the commotion that was caused earlier. It was quiet now, and two of the probing doctors saw me standing in the hallway.

 

I subconsciously tensed my body, but it turned out that those two doctors directly called me the Head Teacher.

 

I’m sure that it’s the effect of the skin suit, which works quite well.

 

With that being the case, I also started acting, “Are you guys still in surgery?”

 

The doctor nodded, “Yeah, we need to get all the meat processed in time for tomorrow at noon. The headmaster had said that there was student disturbances at the school in the last couple of days, so he’s adding a new rule to clear out the stock as soon as possible.”

 

“What kind of student disturbances?”

 

The two replied, “I don’t know. It seems to be a girl, I think, offending everyone in the teaching building, the cafeteria and the dormitory. The headmaster specifically instructed everyone to pay close attention.”

 

It can’t be me you’re talking about.

 

“So, are you guys finished now?”

 

The doctor shook his head, “We’re working overtime. You also know that the headmaster has a set of rules for us doctors, and we don’t dare to disobey them.”

 

“So,” I said as I made my way to one of the operating theatres. I was just in time to see a schoolgirl who had been dissected on the operating table to the point of having only a vertebrae and her head left. It was almost comical to look at, and it was clear that she was supposed to be dead, but she was still alive.

 

“This was brought in for the Headmaster yesterday. She’s a student from Year 2, Class 6.”

 

Isn’t that the class I’m in? Look closely, the girl whose head is lying here is the girl who was taken away by the janitor yesterday… So students who break the rules are sent here.

 

I turned back and closed the door to the operating theatre. The two doctors didn’t know what I was trying to do. I hemmed and hawed, “Is there surveillance in here?”

 

The doctor shook his head, “According to the rules, there can’t be any recording in the operating theatre.”

 

I scurried out from within my skin suit and sliced the necks of the two doctors with my scalpel, and they both collapsed to the ground.

 

The eyes of the female student lying on the operating table suddenly looked at me. She has no throat, but she still wants to talk to me. I can’t understand what she’s saying. I’m not a riddler. However, seeing that she was still alive, I lifted the human stump up onto my shoulders.

 

“Spirit Boundary – Open.” This hallway along with the operating theatre all became my domain. I kicked in the door with reckless abandon, took off my skin suit and started beating the crap out of all the people who were doing surgery. I couldn’t tell if the mangled flesh and blood was that of the students being dissected or the doctors. For some unknown reason, I grabbed a handful of unidentifiable strips of meat and hung them over my shoulder. The human figure that had been reduced to a spine was still staring at me, so I kindly gave her a few strips.

 

“You don’t even have a pound of meat to give away.”

 

The Dragon Country viewers watching the live broadcast were already incapable of expressing their thoughts about this woman. What the hell is this? What the hell was she thinking? Why can’t they ever keep up with this player’s brain patterns even when they are watching it now?

 

At the end of the hallway was a steel door, and above the door was a green running sign. I knew this, it meant that behind this door was an exit. I twisted the handle and opened the door, and it was indeed an exit. Beyond the door was an upward staircase that probably led to the outside.

　　

I went upstairs to a new room, which was surprisingly a single office. The entrance to the underground operating room was just below the floor. A large mahogany table and a huge leather chair were placed in the center of the room. I could tell at a glance that this kind of decorated room must have been the office of a big shot.

 

Could it be the Headmaster’s office?

　　

I carried the spine on my shoulder and began to look for clues in this room, and sure enough, I found it. There was a document placed on the bookshelf. It was the land deed for Yongxin Junior High School, and the person who signed at the bottom was named Wu Mingda.

　　

Looking around, the owner of the various trophies was also named Wu Mingda, so it was obvious that this was Wu Mingda’s office.

 

But is Wu Mingda the Headmaster or not?

 

I looked at the only red wooden door in the room, intending to open it and take a look outside, but the door seemed to have been welded shut. It wouldn’t open at all. The door was as motionless as a phony door even after I used my powers. I realized that something wasn’t right… Since the operating room was underneath the room, why would the door not open… and where would the others need to come in if they wanted to go to the operating room?

　　

I placed the spine I was carrying over my shoulder onto the comfy couch in passing as I continued to rummage around the room. I fumbled underneath the mahogany desk and found a diary in a drawer.

　　

The owner of the diary is Wu Mingda, and the content of the diary is every day of his conscientious work in the school.

I’m a teacher, but as of today, I’m a headmaster. I had to try to become a headmaster in order to realize the ideal in my heart. Since this is a strange world, and all the people around me are very strange, I have to hide in order not to be seen by anyone…

 

Sure enough, Wu Mingda is the Headmaster.

 

The system tone came again at this moment.

Is the Headmaster’s Office subplot so significant? Just this one subplot and the exploration level went up so much. Not caring about the rest, I continued to look at the Headmaster’s diary. I checked the pop-ups in the meantime trying to make sure that they could see it as well. I’m not good with my brain, so it would be great if someone capable could analyze the Headmaster’s situation for me.

I was still discovered. I hadn’t slept a day since I descended into this world. Those troublesome teenagers are messing with my head. They are a bunch of monsters. I had to control them and make the rules, and I thought I was right.

　　

The diary entry was followed by a large section of gossip about the headmaster’s past, in which I could notice that the headmaster didn’t seem to be from this world. I didn’t understand how he came to be in this world and created a school like this. It was as if there was a force that encouraged the headmaster to move towards a specific destiny.

 

December 21, XXXX

 

My son died, he wouldn’t listen to me …..

 

The last page of the diary spanned five years. Did the principal have a son? The last diary entry is obviously completely devoid of any trace of human writing, rather, it looks like some kind of weird ghost script. I can’t read it at all. It’s so crooked that I can barely recognize what the handwriting says.

 

Unable to find any more useful information in the diary, I turned my attention elsewhere in the office.

 

It seems like there’s nothing else to investigate here other than that diary.

 

No, there’s one more.

　　

I turned back to the full body mirror in the corner. It was a dresser-like mirror, which wouldn’t normally be in an office like this. I walked over to look at the frame of the mirror and noticed that the thin golden edges of the frame were stained with blood.

 

I applied my ability and touched the mirror. The mirror flickered with light at the same time that I touched it. It was going to suck my whole body into it. I hurriedly put on my disguise skin and carried the spine. When I opened my eyes again, I was already in the dormitory.

　　

“So the mirror is the entrance and exit. No wonder.” I looked around the dormitory and realized that this wasn’t my dormitory, but rather the middle of an unfamiliar dormitory.

　　

Where is this place……?

 

As I was about to walk out of this dormitory, three male students came walking out from the balcony door of the dormitory, laughing and jumping up and down next to me.

　　

“How did you get here, teacher?” A boy with red hair asked me, “Shouldn’t you be in the school building? You can’t go back and forth between the teaching building and the dormitory.”

　　

What the hell did he mean by that, didn’t I teleport from the headmaster’s office? It’s hard to believe that everyone who goes to the headmaster’s office comes out into a dormitory.

　　

“I came from the Headmaster’s office.” I answered honestly, and the three male students immediately paled.

 

“It’s impossible for a teacher to be teleported to a dormitory! You’re not the Head Teacher!” My disguise was instantly blown, and the three of them looked at me as if I was the enemy.

 

“Who the hell are you? You’ve broken the rules.”

 

I ignored the three of them, intending to get out of the dormitory, but the door was locked and wouldn’t open.

　　

“Give it up. Since you’re an outsider, the only way out of this dormitory is through playing our game.”

 

“Game?” I stopped pretending and took off my human skin suit to look at the three boys in front of me. The ones across from me all went into disarray when they saw that I was a girl.

　　

“We talked to a girl; we’ve broken the rules.”

　　

The basic code for students at Yongxin Junior High School, Rule #4: You can’t talk to the opposite sex. Even though I’m wearing a disguise made of human male’s skin, I’m still a female. It’s not just me who broke the rule, it’s the same for them too.

 

“In that case, let her take our place here,” the three boys offered to play their game with me. They looked at the spine I was carrying with a thirsty look, “Or we can make a you a deal if you give us the one you’re carrying. “

　　

What the hell, I don’t give a shit about these guys. By the time they suggested a game of rock-paper-scissors I’d already dismantled the dorm beds and beat up all three of them.

 

“I don’t know if you guys are real students or not, but since you dare to talk about terms with me to mess with me, then you guys can go to hell.”

 

The three boys yelped as I knocked them down to the ground viciously. I saw a piece of paper in the corner of the pocket of one of them, and so as not to miss any of the rules, I picked it up to check it out.

 

It’s a piece of paper with the rules of dormitory 404 written on it.

 

“What’s this?”

 

The boy looked at me incredulously, “How dare you come to this dormitory if you don’t know where it is?”

 

I took the key out of my pocket that one of the boys in my class had given me, and the mark inscribed on it was 404.

 

I don’t have the energy to read the rules of 404, since it’s not like I’m from this dormitory. I kicked the student who was still struggling once again, took the key and turned my head to unlock the dormitory door, only to hear a click. The door opened, and outside was a normal dormitory corridor. I could see a group of boys lining up to pass by the entrance of 404, and when they saw 404’s door open, the group walked even faster.

　　

This really is a boys’ dormitory.

　　

“Is that for real, the door to the 404 was opened …. Huh! She’s carrying something, it’s a spine with only a head!”

As the rewards from the system were handed out, I hurriedly opened the status bar to check my attributes. The blue SAN value bar seemed to have actually gotten a bit longer, and the personal skill Spirit Boundary had also changed, with the text behind it displaying Lv2.

 

I got an upgrade?

 

The door of the dormitory beside me was opened, and the leader looked at me standing at the doorway of 404. They didn’t expect that the one who opened 404 was actually a girl. I turned back to look at the trio inside the dormitory, but there was no-one there. The room was completely empty, and there was no other difference except for the beds that I had dismantled.

 

According to the rules, the opposite sex is not allowed to talk to each other, but a couple of the boys were so excited that they wanted to ask me how I had done it. They forced themselves to hold back the spine with the human head that I was carrying, and approached me with a pen and paper to ask me what had happened in black and white.

 

A boy from one of the dorms waved toward a few people and pulled me into their dorm in the process.
