CYTMA Chapter 2

You're in my car, but calling out another man's name.

Pei Yan was brought here by a friend and is feeling upset by the nightclub’s sensual atmosphere.

After rejecting numerous advances with a cold face, no one dared to approach him anymore. At this moment, he was sitting alone in a quieter corner, smoking, and holding a small flat green jade piece in his hand.

Suddenly, someone rushed up to him like a gust of wind and stopped in front of him. Then, he heard a clear and tentative voice asking, “Excuse me, can you take me away?”

He frowned and saw a slender and pretty boy looking at him pleadingly. The boy’s shirt was wrinkled, and there were obvious red marks on his wrist, indicating that he had experienced something in the nightclub. But what did that have to do with him?

Pei Yan was about to refuse when he noticed a tiny mole under the boy’s thin lips. Like a grain of sand attached to the translucent white jade, it was flawlessly beautiful, making people involuntarily stare at it.

Pei Yan shook his head and was suddenly taken aback. His heart beat faster, and his blood boiled. Then, a man with a strong alcohol smell walked over, smiling and said, “Pei-ge, I brought this kid here. He’s just ignorant and has disturbed you. I’ll take him away now.”

It was Li Junzhuo. He was a famous playboy in their circle.

Pei Yan saw Li Junzhuo reach out to grab the boy’s reddened wrist and pull it hard. The boy’s body was unstable, and his steps were staggering, but his eyes continued to look at him pleadingly.

“Wait, wait a minute…”

Pei Yan suddenly felt an unprecedented anxiety, as if he was afraid that once he lost him, he would never be able to catch him again. He shouted in a panic, “Let him go!”

As his words fell, he took a step forward and grabbed the boy’s other hand, pulling him away from Li Junzhuo with what seemed like brute force, and said in a low voice, “I want this person!”

Li Junzhuo was stunned. He never expected that Pei Yan, who always disliked these kind of places, would actually take a liking to a little star full of black material1scandals

He concealed his anger in his eyes but didn’t dare to make an enemy of Pei Yan.

After all, Pei Yan’s father, Pei Junhai, was a financial tycoon in City A and the chairman of Donghai Group. His company had just gone public and he still needed Pei Junhai’s company to bring in more investment shareholders.

If the little star offended Pei Yan, the one who would suffer would only be himself.

Li Junzhuo reluctantly looked at the delicate and handsome boy and smiled, “Okay, Pei-ge. This little boy is the spokesperson for my company’s investment. But if Pei-ge wants him, then tonight I’ll consider it a favor to Pei-ge. Don’t forget to repay me, Pei-ge.”

After speaking, the man turned around and left in annoyance.

Qi Feng had been observing Pei Yan all along. When he was pulled away and stumbled and bumped into Pei Yan’s strong chest, the anxious expression on his face finally disappeared.

Sure enough, it was Pei Yan.

Just like the anxious look he showed when he saved him in the capital that time.

But he wasn’t sure if this Pei Yan would remember Qi Feng from Yong’an Music Hall2The first chapter used Yonghe Music Hall but the raw here says Yong’an, I kept it as it is but from this chapter on, it was referenced as “Yong’an Music Hall”..

He stabilized himself with his hands on Pei Yan’s chest, raised his head to look at the man calmly and said, “Thank you, Pei… Mr. Pei.”

Pei Yan was uneasy.

He couldn’t understand his reaction to this unfamiliar boy, and he couldn’t help but gaze at the boy’s lips, which were slightly parted, and the conspicuous mole under the corner of his mouth.

The boy’s identity was clearly someone who had been called to accompany someone. And the men and women who came here to accompany were usually seeking dependence, pursuing fame and fortune.

Why did this boy come to him?

Doesn’t Li Junzhuo have enough resources for him to use?

He lowered his eyes and asked solemnly, “Do you know me? Do you want to come with me?”

Pei Yan… didn’t know him.

Qi Feng’s heart sank and he said, “I guess you could say I know you.”

Pei Yan’s breath hitched, almost without thinking, he grabbed the boy’s delicate wrist and pulled him out of the private room quickly.

Along the way, Qi Feng followed Pei Yan’s quick steps, observing the outside world in surprise.

Magnificent buildings, bright lights, revolving glass doors, automatic elevators, huge TV screens… Everything here that was new and strange left him shocked and uneasy.

When he was pulled into the underground parking lot by Pei Yan, a car honked and passed them by.

Qi Feng was startled by the huge red box-like vehicle passing by and suddenly stopped in his tracks.

“What’s wrong?”

Pei Yan turned around and saw the boy staring at a luxury sports car with wide eyes.

He thought the boy liked cars like that and sneered in disdain. He tightened his grip on the boy’s wrist and said, “What are you looking at? Let’s go.”

Qi Feng steadied himself and looked around again. The entire underground space was filled with those boxes. He learned from the memories of this body that these boxes were called ‘cars’ and were means of transportation.

At this moment, the memories of the original owner rushing into his brain made his understanding of this world clearer.

Pei Yan led him to a larger car and said in a hoarse voice, “Get in.”

Get in?

Qi Feng looked at the shiny and huge black car in front of him, hesitating. Pei Yan thought the boy was deliberately being difficult and impatiently lifted his hand to pinch the boy’s chin, rubbing the mole under his thin lips with his thumb, sneering and asking, “Didn’t you tell me to take you away? Why, do you regret it now?”

Qi Feng heard a different meaning in his tone and frowned, asking, “Where…are you taking me?”

“What do you think?”

The man lowered his head and approached him, his deep black eyes stubbornly imprinting his face. Qi Feng took a step back and then remembered something.

Pei Yan was no longer the brother who played with him when they were kids, but one of his benefactors in the Yong’an Music Hall. Like all noble sons, he spent a lot of money to have Qi Feng play “Feng Qiu Huang3“凤求凰” (Feng Qiu Huang). It is a Chinese folk song that has been passed down for thousands of years. The song tells the story of a phoenix that seeks its mate, and it has become a symbol of love and loyalty in Chinese culture.“.

The sight of the boy stepping back only made Pei Yan more impatient. He hated the men and women who chased after fame and fortune in nightclubs using their looks and frivolity.

But for some reason, when he saw the boy for the first time, he urgently wanted to take him away.

Take him away for what?

He didn’t know himself.

“I can give you the same benefits as Li Junzhuo.”

He opened the car door with one hand and said in a short, hoarse voice, “Get in the car.”

Qi Feng laughed at himself with self-deprecation. Sure enough, this Pei Yan also regarded him as that kind of person. Maybe this body, just like the one in Chang’an Music Hall4永安乐坊 (Yong’an Yue Fang) and 长安乐坊 (Chang’an Yue Fang) are not the same place, but they are both places where male prostitutes were active in ancient China. The difference is that 永安乐坊 (Yong’an Yue Fang) is the name of a specific brothel, while 长安乐坊 (Chang’an Yue Fang) is the name of a general area or district in the capital city of Chang’an. Qi Feng worked as a male prostitute in 永安乐坊 (Yong’an Yue Fang), was originally that kind of person. He had thought that if this was his fate, then giving himself to the familiar Pei family could be considered as repaying his debt of gratitude.

And also… he didn’t actually hate this little general of the Pei family.

He watched as the man opened the car door, revealing the cold and broad black car seat. He lifted his foot and sat down inside.

Outside the car, Pei Yan ran around and opened the front passenger door before sitting inside. After a loud “boom” sound, the black SUV quickly sped away, just like the red sports car from before.

Inside the car, Pei Yan said nothing. Qi Feng also calmly gazed out the window at the city scenery that was gradually receding, slowly beginning to recall the things about this body.

Same height, same appearance, same name, same age.

He was a sophomore at the A City Art Academy majoring in performing arts. In his freshman year, he signed with Yi Fan Entertainment to enter the entertainment industry. He had worked as a model and participated in several variety shows, but for various reasons, he had accumulated a lot of criticism and negative publicity.

And the parents of this Qi Feng had passed away two years ago. He relied on his identity as an artist to support himself and maintain his livelihood.

His parents had passed away.

Qi Feng leaned back in his seat and thought thankfully, “At least I wasn’t sent to a cold and harsh place to work day and night, suffering to the point of death.”

But he soon realized the abnormality of this body. His hands, feet, and limbs were becoming increasingly weak and powerless, to the point of not being able to sit properly in the car seat. He gradually slumped down in the back seat.

What was even more uncomfortable was the inexplicable burning heat all over his body. He wanted to vent this heat out, his whole body rubbing against the cool leather seat, his breathing becoming rapid, his mind muddled, and his consciousness blurred.

In the quiet car, uncontrollable low moans kept coming from the back seat. Anyone who was a little sensible would know what was going on.

The man driving in front became more and more sullen as he listened, and scolded in a low voice, “Did you eat something dirty? Don’t you know how to control yourself in that kind of situation? ”

“I, I didn’t… I don’t know, I feel sick…”

The boy’s rapid breathing carried these weak and powerless words. Each word was like a fish struggling on the shore, trying to jump into the water to survive.

Pei Yan finally stopped at the red light and angrily turned his head, only to see the thin boy lying on the spacious car seat, his legs curled up and his knees almost touching his chest, covering his embarrassment.

“General Pei…”

In the boy’s rapid breathing, he faintly called out a name. The mole under his slightly opened lips was barely visible. A pair of hazy peach blossom eyes were filled with mist, yearning and looking at Pei Yan.

Pei Yan couldn’t clearly hear what he said, and thought the boy was unconsciously calling out someone else’s name. This made him even more uncontrollably angry and annoyed. “You’re sitting in my car, yet you’re calling out another man’s name?”

“General… save me…”

The breathing inside the closed car became more and more rapid, confused and charming.

Pei Yan gritted his teeth, his knuckles turning white as he fiercely turned the steering wheel.

A black SUV forced its way out of its lane on the flowing road, honking its horn and crossing the wide lane towards a deep alley on the side of the road.

The car stopped at an unmanned wall, and soon all the lights inside the car went out.
