CYNTM CHAPTER 58

I Want You

Hunter unconsciously stuck out his tongue to lick his upper lip. Owen paused, then whispered, “If he doesn’t screw you to death…”

“What?”

“Nothing! Ciel up, Hunter! Whether you lick it once, twice, or three times makes no difference!” Owen narrowed his eyes and encouraged him.

With a loud crunch, Hunter bit off a third of the lollipop, discovering fruit jam hidden inside! The surprise made him think the lollipop was quite inventive! Tilting his head back, he let the jam pour into his mouth, “Mmn… the filling is way better than the sugary shell!”

Owen showed a malicious smile, but it was obscured by his phone. He remarked with a hint of insinuation, “Of course the filling is the best part!”

Half an hour later, Winston finished his meeting with the sponsors and walked out of the venue, one hand in his pocket. His phone buzzed incessantly with new messages. Pulling it out, he saw they were from Hunter.

The message read: A fan gave me an interesting lollipop.

With a gentle swipe, an image of Hunter appeared, leaning back against a pillow. His hair was slightly messy, and he wore a pitiful, helpless expression as if he were being forced. His protruding tongue licked the gap at the top of the lollipop.

Winston’s grip on his phone tightened.

The next message arrived: I can’t fit it all in!

The photo was taken from below, capturing Hunter frowning with only half the lollipop in his mouth, unable to manage the rest. His ears were flushed red.

The third message came: So I’ll just bite it off!

The image showed Hunter biting the middle of the lollipop, looking both reluctant and childish.

The fourth message followed immediately: The jam inside is super delicious!

Winston’s fingers quickly scrolled down. He saw an image of Hunter tilting his head back, pouring the jam from the remaining half of the lollipop into his mouth. His round-collared T-shirt had slipped to one side, almost exposing his collarbone on the left side. From this angle, Winston could just make out Hunter’s tongue stretching to catch the flowing jam.

Winston’s shoulders stiffened, and his grip on the phone tightened even more.

“Damn… If I had known this kid was this sexy, I would’ve done him in that club back then!” Nicky’s voice came from behind Winston. Winston quickly pulled his phone back, but Nicky reached out to stop him, “Let me take another look! Or send it to me! I swear I won’t forward it to anyone!”

Winston shot him an icy glare, and Nicky immediately backed off, “Well… He sent you such photos… It’s obvious he’s already into you, right?”

Winston said nothing, but Nicky felt that this silent Winston was terrifying. Winston’s gaze crushed Nicky’s nerves. He was clearly clenching his teeth, with anger seeming on the verge of exploding.

“Isn’t… he trying to seduce you?” Nicky didn’t understand why Winston was so angry.

With a cold expression, Winston turned away, ignoring the calls of the staff around him. This was the first time Nicky had seen him completely lose his composure and grace.

As soon as Winston left the press center, he called Hunter. Hunter, sitting in Owen’s room, trembled when he saw the caller ID. He nearly dropped his phone, but luckily Owen caught it for him.

“Hey, don’t tell him you’re with me and don’t mention you saw me tonight,” Owen warned.

You don’t need to tell me that. I already know. Last time, just suspecting I was texting with Owen, Winston had such a strong reaction. If he finds out I’m in Owen’s room in the middle of the night… he might actually break up with me!

Hunter took a deep breath and called the other person’s name pretending that everything was normal, “Hey! Winston, are you at the press center?”

“Where are you?” Winston’s voice was deep.

“I’m… in my room!”

“Really?”

The phone call was abruptly cut off. He actually hung up like that!

Hunter looked at Owen, “What… what just happened?”

Owen realized immediately, “Crap! Those photos obviously weren’t taken by you! If you were busy seducing him with the lollipop, there’s no way you could’ve snapped those shots yourself! He must think someone else is in your room! He’s definitely angry! He’s probably coming to your room to catch you right now!”

“No… no way!” Hunter broke out in a cold sweat.

“Why not! Hunter, you’ve succeeded, he is jealous!” Owen hugged Hunter’s back, then stuffed the candy box into Hunter’s arms and pushed him out the door. “Go back right now! Go to your room! Why are you still standing here! If Winston finds out you lied to him, he’ll move heaven and earth to find out who you’re with!”

“Hey, don’t act like he loves me that much!”

“If he doesn’t love you, then who does he love? Me? Remember this, don’t you dare mention me even if you’re dying! Otherwise, neither Winston nor I will forgive you!”

Owen’s eyes were deadly serious. Hunter was about to shout “Why should I!” when Owen pushed him out of the room. Through the closed door, Owen didn’t forget to remind him, “Same as always, whatever Winston wants, you can’t refuse! Otherwise, don’t even think about participating in the next race!”

“Damn it!” Hunter angrily showed his middle finger to the door.

“Why aren’t you running yet? Winston’s already on his way to your room!”

Hunter’s heart skipped a beat, and he sprinted to the elevator, frantically pressing the button until it finally arrived. By now, his heart was racing. Even though he knew Winston couldn’t have gotten from the press center to his hotel that quickly, what if he had left the press center earlier?

Hunter had never run so fast in his life. He bolted from Hanjue Hotel back to his own, jamming the elevator button repeatedly. He couldn’t believe it when he made it back to his room in just five minutes. As he pulled out his keycard, his nerves were still on edge.

Could Winston already be there?

Hunter pushed the door open, turned on the light, and tossed the lollipops onto the bed, panting heavily. Thankfully, the distance was short enough that he wasn’t too sweaty.

For a few brief minutes, Hunter sat alone on the mattress. He suddenly realized he was actually anxious.

Would Winston really come? Or was he so angry after seeing the photos that he wouldn’t show up at all? Wait, why would he be angry about those photos? There really wasn’t any reason for him to be!

Hunter kept kicking his heels on the bed, glancing at his watch now and then. His anxiety grew with each passing moment. Suddenly, he missed Winston. Even a cold-faced Winston would be enough.

Just then, a knock on the door echoed straight into Hunter’s heart. This was Winston’s distinctive knock. Hunter leaped off the bed as if electrocuted and rushed to open the door. Sure enough, it was Winston.

“Winston!” Hunter beamed a wide smile.

But Winston’s eyes were icy. He glanced at Hunter before walking into his room. Hunter felt immensely relieved that he had hurried back in time.

Winston settled on the bed and turned his head to study the headboard. The cold aura emanating from him made Hunter suddenly feel a bit scared.

Ever since that first time hearing him speak in the bathroom after the Spanish Grand Prix, Winston had never been so indifferent towards him. This Winston… wasn’t normal… at least not the man Hunter was familiar with who was aloof but never made anyone feel uncomfortable.

“Do you realize the pillow in the photo and the pillow in your room are different?” Winston lifted his gaze and softly asked Hunter.

Hunter’s heart felt squeezed, as if blood couldn’t circulate.

“I…” Hunter opened his mouth but couldn’t find an explanation. Damn Owen! If he wanted to take photos, he should have come here to take them!

“Do you realize the distance those photos were taken from clearly indicates someone else was taking them for you?” Winston asked again.

His voice was still gentle, but now it felt threatening rather than soothing. Hunter was at a loss for words. He couldn’t even be sure if Owen had done this on purpose for Winston to find out!

“Are you aware you’re famous enough that even the hotel staff recognize you?”

Hunter’s heart sank with a loud thud. He was doomed.

“When I asked the front desk if Evan Hunter from the Marcus team had returned, they eagerly told me you’d sprinted back just a few minutes ago.”

Hunter no longer dared to look Winston in the eye.

“Why did you lie to me?”

Hunter felt foolish… Why had he lied in the first place?

At that moment, Winston stood up.

“Winston…”

“Hunter, you’ve been texting Lawrence Owen all along, haven’t you?”

Winston reached out, gently tucking Hunter’s tousled hair behind his ear, his knuckles grazing the edge of Hunter’s ear. Winston’s eyelashes drooped slightly, resembling a door inviting Hunter in… Hunter felt that he had to step inside before it completely shut.

However, this tenderness made Hunter feel both uneasy and unfamiliar. He still remembered Owen’s warning, but what could Owen do to him anyway? At worst, they’d just clash on the track! Who would outdo who wasn’t clear yet! The last thing Hunter wanted to do was lie to Winston because, suddenly, Winston felt distant from him.

“I’ve been texting Owen. He’s been teaching me…”

“Do you like him?” Winston asked, still in that restrained tone, but now with a hint of urgency. He leaned towards Hunter, his nose almost touching him.

In the intensity of Winston’s gaze, Hunter felt exposed.

“How is that possible? He’s not my type!” Hunter was shocked that Winston would even think that.

“But I think that he fits your type pretty well. Even though he’s not a woman, he has such a beautiful face and mesmerizing eyes.” Winston tilted his head as if to see Hunter more clearly from another angle.

“I never thought he was beautiful!”

“He doesn’t play by the rules, always making you feel challenged and refreshed.”

“What? I have no interest in him at all!”

What the hell is challenged and refreshed!

“Then tell me, Hunter… Why have you suddenly gotten so close to him? Why are you messaging him almost every day?”

Winston lowered his eyes, his forehead almost touching Hunter’s. Hunter didn’t know what to do. Should he tell Winston the truth? What if Winston hated him for it?

The more Hunter backed away, the more Winston advanced until Hunter found himself pressed against the wall.

So unbearable! Don’t stick so close to me… your breath, the way you look at me, the atmosphere you create when you’re close to me makes me want to have you so badly.

With nowhere to retreat, Hunter clenched his fists. Keeping up this pretense was hard for him. He was never one to hide his feelings, and even a minute of it felt both exhilarating and unbearable. If he wasn’t satisfied, he’d rather speak up and ask for more.

“You once said… no matter what happens, we must not mention breaking up,” Hunter said seriously.

I like you, so why can’t I say it? Being rejected is no big deal. After all, the world doesn’t revolve around me. Just because I like someone doesn’t mean they’ll be head over heels for me. If I don’t say it now in this moment, there will come a time when you won’t even realize I have feelings for you. It’s like driving through a corner: if I don’t have the determination to overtake my opponent, even if it means risking going off the track, I’ll end up being overtaken!

“Lawrence Owen taught me how to pursue you.” Hunter looked directly into Winston’s eyes. He didn’t flinch or hesitate. For Hunter, this was the bravest moment of his life. He wanted Winston to know exactly what he wanted.

“I know hearing this, you might find it ridiculous or despicable. But all my attempts to charm you ended in failure! I intentionally played around and teased you, left my clothes out of the bathroom on purpose, and even invited you to shake the bed. Heavens know, at that moment, all I wanted was to kiss you, bite you, and strip you naked! I even tried that stupid movie move, tried to lift your pants under the table, but I touched Owen by mistake… I sent you those photos on purpose, but you didn’t react at all! Fine, I failed! So, damn it, tell me what the hell I have to do to make you like me!”

Hunter roared in one breath.

He thought he was awesome. Despite his nerves, the words flowed without a single stutter. He really admired himself for it.

Even if Winston turned and walked away, Hunter was ready to chase him to the ends of the earth. He stared at Winston intently, waiting for his reaction. His heart pounded so hard it seemed to shake the world.

As his courage waned, anxiety threatened to crush him. He had no regrets, but tears threatened to spill. The atmosphere seemed to shift from the unbearable heat of a moment ago to an icy chill.

As Hunter looked up… for the first time, he saw Winston’s eyes widen, revealing a look of absolute surprise despite his attempt to control it.

Time seemed to slow and expand at once, each heartbeat like an icicle falling on flames, melting quickly and evaporating tumultuously. Yet, this filled Hunter with a sense of accomplishment. Who else but him could make Vann Winston show such an expression?

But Winston’s shock quickly transformed into an emotion Hunter couldn’t comprehend. The tension between them was like a planet compressed to its limit, ready to explode and tear the universe apart.

Instinctively, Hunter shifted to the side, but Winston’s hand gripped his shoulder before he could move, pinning him against the wall with unyielding determination.

Before Hunter could cry out, something forcefully covered his lips, slamming his head against the wall and nearly dislocating his spine. Winston’s tongue aggressively pushed in, an overwhelming force instantly invading Hunter’s mouth.

In a frenzied stirring, Hunter’s tongue was teased, pressed, and even sucked to the point of pain!

What was happening…

Hunter’s mind went blank.

Winston turned his face, and Hunter saw his tightly shut eyes, completely absorbed. Finally, Hunter realized it was a kiss.

Winston was kissing him? He was actually kissing him?

The hands that usually controlled the steering wheel with precision were now out of control. They lifted Hunter’s face, forcing him to open his mouth wide.

Winston suddenly stopped, breathing heavily as if trying to restrain something. His breath felt like it was burning Hunter to the bone.

“Say it again… Say it again…” Winston’s voice was restrained yet passionate.

Hunter had never witnessed this side of him before.

“Say… say what…”

“What do you want? Tell me what you want…” Winston’s hand stroked Hunter’s face roughly, as if ready to kill him if his answer wasn’t what he wanted to hear.

“I… I want you… to be with me forever… I like you.”

Hunter gulped, then looked into Winston’s burning eyes. Winston’s kiss was so powerful, so real as if it was the first time his true feelings were being reciprocated.

“I want you too… want you so badly it drives me mad.” Winston’s voice squeezed out from between his teeth, as if wanting the person in front of him was a matter of gritting his teeth and piercing his heart.

“Since when?” Hunter’s eyes widened… This response made him feel like he was dreaming. Had his plan to seduce Winston actually worked? Was it just that this guy’s face showed so little emotion that he hadn’t noticed?

“Since the first time I saw you.” As he finished speaking, his kiss came crashing down again.

What? The first time?

Hunter instinctively opened his mouth to welcome Winston. As their lips and tongues met, it felt as though his blood was on fire.

Winston kissed insatiably like trying to make Hunter a part of himself through the kiss.

With collisions and entanglements, tightening grip, and possessive touch, everything seemed to stimulate Hunter’s nerves. This kiss was completely different from anything he had imagined, filled with male explosiveness and bursting possessiveness.

Winston was holding him so tightly that Hunter had to tense every muscle in his body to avoid being crushed in his embrace. Winston’s hands roamed impatiently over Hunter’s body, squeezing him as if he wanted to crush him. This was completely different from the usual gentle indulgence he showed to him. It was like he wanted to crush Hunter into pieces.

“Mm… mm…” The lack of oxygen made Hunter dizzy, but Winston had no intention of stopping.

He was like a race car that had broken free from the track, running wild, wanting only to enjoy the wetness and softness of Hunter’s mouth.

Hunter had no choice but to lift his hand and tap Winston’s back, his tongue trying to push him away. When he finally found a small gap, Hunter quickly turned his head to gasp for air.

Not even a second later, Winston grabbed his cheeks and forced another invasive kiss. Even when Hunter tried to turn away, Winston used his tongue to force him to face him directly.

Hunter felt like he was being pushed to the center of a high-speed turn, crushed by Winston’s craziness to the point of almost flying off course and shattering into dust!

After the unbelievable joy, an inexplicable fear filled his heart. Instinctively, Hunter kneed Winston hard in the stomach, just trying to gain a bit of control—even if only for a second to breathe. Unexpectedly, Winston’s reaction was faster than Hunter could imagine and he easily pinned his knee down.

Winston reluctantly withdrew from Hunter’s lips, their tongues still entwined. Hunter gasped for air.

Winston continued to kiss him aggressively before finally retreating, leaving Hunter panting heavily. Winston then lifted Hunter onto his shoulder. At that moment, he could feel the man’s shoulder and back muscles tense up, and his own heart tightened in response.

Hunter was tossed onto the bed with such force that his head spun. As he tried to prop himself up, Winston’s knee wedged between his legs, and his hands gripped Hunter’s wrists, transforming into a beast pouncing on its prey. Hunter was immediately pinned down.

“I can’t breathe!” Hunter cried out in advance.

Winston turned his head, his tongue brushing against Hunter’s lips, gently licking until they were soaked before plunging in. The wet, rhythmic movement of Winston’s tongue made Hunter unable to hold back. He had never been kissed like this before, and it left him dizzy and disoriented. Winston’s tongue curled up, and Hunter reflexively stuck his tongue out to meet his. He tried to suck on Winston’s lips but fell into the other man’s trap.

Hunter’s response made Winston completely lose control. All the restraint, rationality, elegance, and gentlemanliness that Hunter was familiar with shattered beyond recovery. Winston became wild, mad, and even rough, letting his desires overflow freely.

Hunter was pinned to the mattress, his mind still reeling as Winston’s kiss crashed down like a raging storm. He twisted his shoulders to struggle, but Winston’s fingers tightened around his hands, pinning them beside his ears and leaving him powerless.

Winston’s tongue relentlessly explored every inch of Hunter’s mouth, each kiss more intense than the last. His desire completely overturned Hunter’s expectations. The man who seemed devoid of desire was now before him, unabashedly revealing a completely different side.

“Mm… mn…”

Hunter was forced to tilt his head back. His neck, strong enough to withstand the g-forces of high-speed turns, now barely held up under Winston’s kiss. Tears spilled from Hunter’s eyes—not from fear, but from exertion. Finally, Winston released Hunter’s lips, then kissed the corner of his mouth, and sucked on his chin with a fierce intensity after licking it with his tongue.

The author has something to say:

Winston: I’m about to draw my sword.

Hunter: If…if… you dare draw your sword, I’ll play dirty!

Winston: Oh? How do you plan to play dirty?

Hunter: So that even if you draw your sword, you won’t be able to use it!

Winston: Really? I’ve already prepared the underground garage. Where else do you plan to play dirty?

Hunter: …
