CYNTM CHAPTER 62

Hunter's “Talent”

Hunter had just taken a sigh of relief when Owen suddenly remarked in a teasing tone, “Hey Hunter, why haven’t you spared Winston a glance? He’s been staring at you this whole time!”

“No… no way!” Hunter’s ears turned red.

Ciel sighed and said to Hunter, “Brat, you’re too thin-skinned! Look at me—no matter what that jerk says, I just roll my eyes. If you blush and feel embarrassed, you’re letting him win!”

“Ciel…” Hunter looked at him.

“What?” Ciel huffed.

“I admire you a lot!”

“Oh? You didn’t admire me before? Plenty of drivers join F1 because they admire me!” Ciel flashed his trademark cocky smile.

“Huh? People join F1 because they admire you? Who?” Owen looked both surprised and curious.

“Enzo from Lotus! Maiden from Force India!” Ciel looked at Owen with a proud expression.

“Heh… those guys have no taste!” Owen shrugged.

Ciel was about to kick Owen’s chair, but Owen lifted his leg and kicked Ciel first. He probably kicked Ciel in the shin as Ciel grunted and glared at Owen fiercely.

Owen acted as if nothing had happened and put his arm around Hunter’s shoulder. “Hunter joined F1 because he admired me! Plus, in the last race, he even beat you… Hahaha!”

Hunter paused, “When did I ever admire you!”

“Isn’t that right?” Owen’s gaze was menacing, as if warning him.

Remembering all the embarrassing things he had done to seduce Winston, which Owen knew about, Hunter had no choice but to nod obediently.

Just then, Hunter’s phone rang. It was Marcus calling.

“Hello, Marcus?”

“Where are you now?”

“I’m eating a burger at the press center. Why?”

“Did you do an interview with Winston?”

Oh no… is Marcus starting to overthink things again?

“Winston was only in the interview for less than five minutes, but I…” Before he could finish saying that he would never go to Ferrari, Marcus interrupted him.

“Did you know that the head designer of Versace and his wife were in the audience today? The wife already liked you a lot, and seeing you and Winston in suits at the interview made her feel that you both perfectly matched her husband’s designs! The designer is fond of both of you too! Versace signed Winston before this season to shoot their fall fashion campaign, and since Silverstone, they’ve had their eye on you as well. After the Japan race, they sent a contract inviting both you and Winston for a photoshoot!”

“Huh?” Hunter wondered if his ears were malfunctioning. Since when was he involved with such a top fashion brand? Most importantly, Winston has always had a great sense of fashion—how to put it… he has that kind of eye-catching and impressive presence in front of the camera. But as for Hunter… he wasn’t at that level, was he?

“I’ve already agreed! The photo shoot is in New York. Although the schedule is a bit tight, it will only take two days. Luckily, this race is two weeks before the Singapore race, so after the shoot, you can fly to Singapore with Winston!”

Hunter really wanted to say… Marcus, are you crazy? Are you seriously scheduling a commercial photoshoot for me right in the middle of the season?

“Don’t you think shooting with Winston is intriguing? Winston has a serious style, while yours is more relaxed. Versace’s designer wants you two to shoot together to showcase the clash and blend of elegance and casualness. You guys have great chemistry, so combining these styles won’t be awkward at all!”

Hunter felt a flicker of temptation. Commercial photoshoots usually bored him, and he had no real interest in doing one. But…it’s a photoshoot with Winston…

“Have you… already signed the contract?”

“Versace is also considering sponsoring us! That head designer is very influential. After meeting you at the Emirates Palace, he was inspired and even designed a casual suit specifically for you. Our legal team has reviewed the contract they sent over. After watching your interview today, his impression of you skyrocketed! He’s eager for you to complete the fall collection shoot with Winston!”

After hearing this, Hunter felt he couldn’t refuse anymore. He finished the burger.

The soul of a racing team isn’t the driver… It’s the sponsorship money!

Owen and Ciel continued to chat about the anti-fan incident, occasionally arguing.

After the meal, Hunter’s stomach was full, but he couldn’t recall any of the flavors.

No matter how much Ciel was annoyed with Owen, he stuffed his hands into his pockets and followed him back to the hotel. Meanwhile, Hunter and Winston walked along the street, neither intending to take a taxi back to the hotel.

“Hey, what were you… doing… under the table earlier?” Hunter asked in a serious tone. He hoped Winston would face the issue head-on.

“What did I do?”

“You have the nerve to ask what you did? You used your shoe to lift my pant leg! I tried dodging you, but you switched to the other foot!”

“Oh—You once said that Owen taught you how to seduce me, yet last time you rubbed your foot against Owen under the dining table.”

“Ah… why do you still remember that!” Hunter wanted to pull his hair out.

“Don’t let Owen teach you anymore.”

“What?”

“I can teach you personally.” Winston whispered into Hunter’s ear, “Did you learn what I just showed you?”

His voice was still as gentle as always, yet it could make Hunter’s heart flutter.

“I… I don’t need to seduce you anymore!”

Clearly, you’ve had ulterior motives towards me for a long time!

“Is that so? What a pity. I was going to tell you how to seduce me. You just needed to follow along. Owen couldn’t teach you that.” Winston replied.

The laughter in his voice once again made Hunter feel attracted.

“I’m really curious about how to seduce you!”

“You actually do things like that all the time. On the way to the hamburger place earlier was a perfect example. That’s the signature Evan Hunter style.” Winston replied with a slight smile.

“The Evan Hunter style? Give examples. Why don’t I know about this?”

Hunter didn’t realize he had something called “style.”

“Like that time on the track when you were going head-to-head with me, determined to overtake me. It got me so excited that I almost came in the car.”

Winston’s voice was right by Hunter’s ear, husky and lethally attractive.

“Hey! You old pervert! What the hell were you thinking while driving an F1 car!”

“After that, the entire race became pure torment. I had to try my best to finish quickly… or I would have gone crazy.”

Hunter could practically hear the F1 engine roaring, feel the heat under his racing suit, and the restless desire that came with it.

“After the race, I locked myself in the bathroom and had to take care of myself while thinking of you.”

Of course, Hunter understood what “taking care of myself” meant.

“Shut… shut up!” Hunter reached out to cover Winston’s mouth, not wanting him to continue. But as soon as his hand landed, something soft brushed against his fingers. He quickly withdrew his hand as if burned, looking at Winston in shock.

“You… you…”

“Every time I was close to coming, your messages kept coming in one after another.”

At this moment, Hunter realized why this guy had taken so long to reply to his messages after the Abu Dhabi race!

“My phone kept vibrating. Just knowing it was you made me excited all over again.”

“Enough! Enough! I don’t want to hear anymore! I wasn’t seducing you! It’s your mind that’s messed up…”

“Yeah, it’s my mind that’s messed up. Even your messages managed to seduce me.”

Oh god, someone save me! Vann Winston is a madman!

“Shut up, I don’t want to hear this anymore!”

“Alright. Let’s change the subject.”

“The hell! You still have more?”

“Do you know you often lie on your stomach playing with your phone?” Winston asked.

“I do. So what!” Although Hunter didn’t know where Winston was going with this, his neck and ears must have turned red again.

“From your shoulders to your back, down to your waist, especially the curve from your waist down…”

Hunter suddenly understood, “Stop thinking those thoughts! I’m just lying on my bed playing with my phone, and you can think like that? Your mind is messed up!”

“Yes, because my mind is messed up, seeing you like that makes me want to pull down your collar, bite your back, and then your neck… makes me want to lift your shirt…”

“Damn it—enough!” Hunter really felt like he was about to explode on the spot.

Winston was too perverted! Did this mean he could never lie on his stomach playing with his phone again?

“You don’t like this? Then let’s switch to another topic.”

“No! Don’t switch, I don’t want to hear any more of this!”

“Is it that you don’t want to listen, or you don’t want to learn? You could try saying similar things to me.” Winston clearly had a smile on his lips.

Hunter elbowed him, “I don’t want to learn!”

“That’s a shame because I want to say it.”

“What else could you possibly have to say? You’re just making this stuff up!”

“Why would I need to make it up?” Winston chuckled softly. “Oh, there’s another one I should tell you. This one definitely doesn’t sound made up.”

“What is it?”

As soon as Hunter asked, he regretted it. He was never a match for this old pervert, so why even ask? He should have turned away and left coldly!

“That time in the bathroom at the Burj Al Arab hotel, remember when you almost slipped?”

“Huh? When I asked you to bring me clothes, you didn’t even glance at me!” Hunter fumed at the thought of it!

“You were sitting in the bathtub, what could I see even if I tried? Or did you want me to jump into the tub and fuck you to death?” Winston asked.

Suddenly, Hunter realized he might have done something really dangerous back then!

Owen really wasn’t a good guy!

Just as Hunter sighed with relief, Winston continued calmly, “Then you slipped in the bathroom. When I walked in, I saw you hanging over the edge of the tub, completely naked.”

Hunter immediately thought of that time when he was so scared his heart pounded in his chest, thinking he might have pulled a muscle.

“As soon as I walked in, the first thing I saw was your butt. Your body was still wet, glistening under the light, looking like it was waiting for me to bite.”

Hunter shuddered and immediately took a half-step away. “I… I’ll have you know… I… I… didn’t do it on purpose!”

“I know you didn’t do it on purpose. But for a moment, I wanted to push you down to the floor, hear you cry and beg me to let you go.” Winston’s voice was full of intensity, as if that day, Hunter had truly driven him to his limit.

Like a prey that had already touched the fangs of a ferocious beast, Hunter stared at him foolishly. The madness of that moment filled his mind, making him almost see himself being pinned on the bathroom tiles, unable to lift himself, struggling only to keep slipping, crying and begging for mercy.

Hunter stood frozen, unaware that Winston was silently watching his every expression, not missing a single change, not even the look of panic.

“Dummy.” Winston’s voice carried a teasing tone.

“Huh?” Hunter raised his eyes.

Winston’s hand gently brushed Hunter’s face, “How could I ever bear to do that to you?”

Hunter paused. Just moments ago, he was terrified, but now he felt heartbroken by Winston’s words.

“Um… will you be flying to New York to do the Versace photoshoot?”

“Yeah. You’re coming with me tomorrow, aren’t you?”

Hunter reached out, tugging lightly on Winston’s tie as he drew out his words, “Heyyy— it’s not that I’m going with you. It’s just that I happen to have the same business engagement as you! Besides, Marcus will definitely send a PR assistant to accompany me!”

“Is that so? Unlike you, I don’t need someone to babysit me to complete my tasks properly,” Winston said with a smirk on his lips.

“Tch…” Just as Hunter was about to lower his hand, Winston caught it.

“Hunter, you actually have a talent for seducing me.” Winston tilted his face. “Just now, I thought you were pulling my tie… to kiss me.”

“How could I possibly kiss you on the street!”

“Yeah, what a pity.” Winston released Hunter’s hand.

They continued walking forward until they finally reached the hotel. Hunter thought Winston would go in with him, but he stopped at the entrance.

“Hunter.”

“Hmm?” Hunter turned around.

“I have to prepare for tonight’s flight to New York.”

“Oh…” Hunter felt a bit disappointed.

“See you in New York.”

Hunter didn’t enter the hotel and stood there watching Winston walk away.

When he reached his room, he found a rose pinned to the door, which left him stunned. Could it be from Winston? But when would he have had the time, given that they were always together? Hunter took the flower and opened the door.

Just then, the PR manager called to tell him that the racing team had booked a flight to New York for him that night.

Damn it, why didn’t they say so earlier! That means he could fly with Winston! He had to pack quickly and head to the airport. Hunter originally wanted to tell Winston, but then he thought, if they were on the same flight, it would be a nice surprise!

Even though he didn’t expect Winston to show any surprise at all!

Hunter employed his packing skills, stuffing everything into his bag within five minutes, then urged the PR assistant to get moving.

There was only one flight to New York tonight, and Hunter was certain he would run into Winston.

When he arrived at the VIP lounge with his PR assistant, Hunter only needed a glance to spot Winston reading a newspaper. Although Winston’s face was hidden by the pages, Hunter would never mistake those legs.

Hunter narrowed his eyes and smiled, quietly grabbing a newspaper and finding a seat far from Winston. The PR assistant started to report their arrival to Marcus, but Hunter gestured for him to keep quiet. Five minutes later, Hunter sneaked up behind Winston, holding his breath as he leaned in close to his ear.

“These stars are for you. Did you miss me?”

Winston suddenly raised his head and saw Hunter stretch out his hand in front of him. A few origami stars made from newspaper fluttered down, and Winston quickly caught them.

“Don’t squeeze too hard, you’ll crush them!” Hunter lounged against Winston’s seat, grinning mischievously.

Anyway, if Winston made him hold these stars all the way to New York, he wouldn’t pay any attention to him.

Winston didn’t say anything, he just collected the stars he had caught and the ones that had fallen onto him, then tucked them into his coat pocket.

Just as Hunter was about to sit next to Winston, Winston suddenly reached out, holding the back of Hunter’s head and pulling him down. He kissed the corner of his lips, his tongue flicking across the slight indentation before releasing him.

“Of course I missed you.”

Hunter was startled but quickly realized that Winston had kept the newspaper raised the entire time, so no one could see what they had just done. The smile in Winston’s eyes was unmistakable.

A few minutes later, they boarded the plane. Once seated, Hunter noticed that Winston was sitting at the very front of first class, while he was at the back.

So disappointing…

Hunter pulled out his eye mask and put it on.

After the plane reached cruising altitude, someone approached the PR assistant, “May I switch seats with you?”

As soon as Winston’s voice rang out, Hunter’s heart tightened with it.

“Of course… of course…”

The PR assistant stood up and gave his seat to Winston.

“Thanks.”

Since it was a night flight, the cabin lights were dimmed. Winston leaned close to Hunter’s ear and whispered, “You’re not asleep. You can take off the eye mask now.”

Hunter thought grumpily: Just because you say I’m not asleep, it means I’m not? I’m sleeping right now!

Seeing that Hunter didn’t react, Winston let out a soft laugh. “In three minutes, you’ll have to take off the eye mask.”

Hunter thought this guy was really too arrogant.

What he didn’t expect was for Winston to take his hand. When his cool lips and tongue touched Hunter’s fingers, Hunter couldn’t help but shiver. Luckily, at that moment, the plane shook due to turbulence.

Hunter adjusted his breathing and remained motionless. He didn’t believe this guy dared to keep kissing his fingers!

But Hunter underestimated Winston. This guy was getting bolder, his tongue tracing along Hunter’s fingers, reaching the skin between his middle and ring fingers. When the spot was licked, Hunter almost jerked his hand away.

Never in his life had Hunter imagined that someone could kiss his hand in such a seductive way.

When Hunter heard the faint sound of the flight attendant approaching from the front, Winston had already reached his wrist, showing no intention of stopping. Hunter had no choice but to withdraw his hand, remove the eye mask, and glare at him.

“Awake now?” Winston’s face was expressionless.

The flight attendant walked past them, almost witnessing their interaction.

“Or rather, you were always awake.”

In this darkness, the brightest things were Winston’s eyes, which seemed to eliminate the sense of distance, like the silent warmth of the sea.

“On a night flight, you should sleep… Or are you suggesting we talk?”

Time was already short. After landing, they’d only have a few hours of sleep before the Versace photo shoot. The schedule was incredibly tight.

“We can do a few things that don’t require making noise.”

“What?”

“Moreover, they are things you should learn.”

Hunter vaguely realized what Winston intended, but before he could turn towards the window, Winston began to kiss him. The kiss wasn’t forceful. Winston used his tongue to tease, then his lips to capture Hunter’s. When Hunter was coaxed into parting his lips, Winston’s tongue delved in.

Hunter held his breath, all his senses overwhelmed by Winston’s tongue. He closed his eyes. They weren’t supposed to make noise, yet the sound of sucking grew louder.

Hunter was extremely tense, afraid someone might discover what they were doing, but he didn’t want to push Winston away either. It wasn’t until the sound of the flight attendant coming back from the other end of the plane sounded that Winston let him go.

“Now you can sleep.”

Hunter’s heart was still pounding wildly.

The author has something to say:
Winston: I love night flights.
Hunter: Because they’re cheaper?
Winston: Because after the lights go out and everyone’s asleep, don’t you feel like there’s a lot of room to play?
Hunter: Play what?
Winston: Play on you.
