“What exactly is hard?” The “nurse” leaned in with a smile, exhaling lightly near Jun Ye’s ear, and asked, “Officer, do you really want to know?”
Jun Ye’s gaze dropped.
Flat—no sign of arousal.
The “nurse,” noticing Jun Ye’s silence, glanced at where his gaze had landed, and couldn’t help but blush slightly.
“Officer, you really are… direct enough to get the blood pumping.”
With that, the “nurse” flipped onto the bed. As Jun Ye’s eyes followed, the “nurse” felt their breath hitch at what they were about to do next.
The “nurse” slowly leaned in, wrapping one arm around Jun Ye, while the other hand guided Jun Ye’s hand toward the nurse’s skirt.
Jun Ye: “…”
This touch… still flat.
Jun Ye began reconsidering his own preferences.
Then, he felt the “nurse” begin to unbutton their uniform.
Jun Ye: “…”
— No, I think I really need some time to mentally prepare for this.
Jun Ye reached out to grab the hand unbuttoning the uniform, signaling his refusal.
“Officer, please wait a moment, the surprise is yet to come.”
The “nurse” flexed their wrist. Although the officer hadn’t said anything, he had loosened his grip, allowing the “nurse” to easily slip their hand free.
A hesitant officer.
The “nurse” smiled and continued undoing the buttons.
— He was going to give this officer a big “surprise.”
But he had to be cautious; if the officer got too excited, he might retaliate. These close-combat types hit hard.
As the buttons were gradually undone, Jun Ye could clearly feel the person in front of him changing.
They grew taller, shoulders broadened, the 36D chest flattened, and the body became heavier.
Jun Ye sighed in relief. Thankfully, it wasn’t a woman; otherwise, he’d really need some psychological preparation.
“Officer, are you satisfied?”
A somewhat deep male voice echoed in his ear, and Jun Ye felt the other person grab his hand again, this time with a bit of nervousness.
Was he afraid of getting hurt? Daring to tease but afraid of the consequences?
Jun Ye followed the other’s lead, using his other hand to pull the person away from him, carefully examining their appearance.
Their hair was shorter now, but the blonde hair and black eyes hadn’t changed.
The nurse’s uniform looked too small on them; if they hadn’t unbuttoned it beforehand, their muscles might have torn it apart.
The other person’s muscles were more on the aesthetic side—smooth and tight, and even if they burst through the shirt, it was clear this was a male physique.
The “nurse” rubbed against Jun Ye’s palm, watching his expression closely, and asked, “Satisfied?”
Jun Ye nodded, but he couldn’t help feeling troubled.
He’d really gotten excited. What had they just been doing? And how were they supposed to handle this now?
“Mm-hmm, from the first moment I saw you, Officer, I knew we were the same.”
Even though he thought they were alike, the “nurse” couldn’t help but marvel at the officer’s ability to accept this. After all, he had just transformed from a woman into a man.
Now, even though he was sure they were the same, he didn’t dare go too far. But facing such a handsome and attractive officer, he really wanted a taste, so he just kept holding the officer’s hand, giving himself enough time to react even if the officer tried to resist.
Jun Ye watched as the person in front of him rubbed happily against his palm, feeling even more troubled. How long was this going to go on?
Jun Ye glanced outside the window. Bai Mao was still patrolling the hallway, occasionally chatting with passing doctors and nurses, but his peripheral vision was constantly on this room.
This situation felt truly strange: someone in the hospital room using his hand to get off, while outside in the hallway, people were coming and going, with someone even keeping watch.
“How long can your illusion last?” Jun Ye asked.
A flicker of surprise crossed the “nurse’s” eyes before he smiled and replied, “Officer, are you interested? Half an hour is no problem; it’s enough to make you feel great.”
Jun Ye’s face darkened, and he almost blurted out, “Why are you regressing?”
He had grown accustomed to the long-lasting stamina of the mermen, with his previous partner from the last world being able to last two or three hours after some time together.
A normal duration of just half an hour felt very unsettling to Jun Ye.
“What’s wrong?” The “nurse” was puzzled as to why the officer’s expression had soured. He’d heard that Asian men generally lasted only five to ten minutes, so being able to give him pleasure for half an hour was quite an achievement. Where else could you find such a quality top?
“You can take care of it yourself in the bathroom.” Jun Ye withdrew his hand, refusing to let the other man continue.
If he reacted and the illusion wore off, well, that would be quite the awkward situation.
“Why? Officer, don’t you want to take advantage of a top as good as me?” This wasn’t how he had imagined things going.
The “nurse” pressed closer, wrapping his arms around Jun Ye, and said, “We could develop this further.”
Jun Ye chuckled, but before he could respond, the system interface suddenly popped up before his eyes, displaying a bold red message in the center:
[You are the bottom!]
Jun Ye: “…”
So, what exactly are these top and bottom designations? Some kind of special code?
Before crossing over, he was as straight as they come and had no idea that men could have such relationships with other men. But after crossing over, he found himself in a world where everyone was gay, with marriage, certification, and even child-rearing services.
And so, Jun Ye stared at the bold “bottom” on the system panel in silence.
The “nurse” leaned in, pinning Jun Ye back onto the bed, and with a smirk, said, “Officer, do you have any specific requirements for your top? Should he be manly? Big in size? Last long? Have muscles? Take you to the peak together?”
The “nurse” lightly touched Jun Ye’s lips, feeling his heart race, and whispered, “I have all of that. Oh, this outfit wasn’t my choice, but if you like it, I can wear it while we do it.”
Listening to the “nurse’s” list of requirements, Jun Ye felt like he was starting to understand, but he still asked, “And what are the requirements for a bottom?”
“Oh, you really are something!” The “nurse” could barely contain his laughter, feeling like he’d hit the jackpot. He had been worried that the officer was also a top, leading to a clash of two tops, but now everything was fine.
“A bottom just needs to spread their legs, oh, and your mouth is welcome too.”
The “nurse” couldn’t resist biting Jun Ye’s lip.
Jun Ye: “Got it.” The system was really going all out to get him to submit.
“Let’s go for it, and I’ll let you test the goods.” The “nurse” thrust his hips forward.
“I’ll take you to the bathroom.” Jun Ye sat up and lifted the man off the bed.
“Wait, why? Are you into bathroom play?” The “nurse” grabbed Jun Ye’s collar, questioning him.
Jun Ye turned, using his shoulder to push open the bathroom door, and carried the man inside, setting him down.
Quick on his feet, the “nurse” locked the door behind them and removed his nurse’s cap, letting his shoulder-length blonde hair fall loose. His masculine charm intensified in the confined space.
As their lips met, the “nurse” was surprised to find that they were about the same height. No matter, such a bottom could still be satisfying.
The “nurse” murmured, “I don’t mind the location, I’m going to kiss you now.”
Jun Ye hesitated for a moment, then placed his hand on the man’s shoulder, preventing him from getting any closer, and said, “Half an hour isn’t enough, and my subordinates might come in. This time, you’ll have to take care of it yourself.”
With that, Jun Ye leaned in and planted a reassuring kiss on the man’s cheek before releasing him and stepping out the door.
“Hey—” The “nurse” glared at the door that had just opened and closed in front of him, angrily crumpling the nurse’s cap in his hand.
“Damn it! If I wasn’t worried about hurting you, I’d have pinned you down right here and made you cry!”
Jun Ye took the jacket hanging by the bedside and pulled out a cell phone from the pocket, examining it. Though he recognized it as a phone, it still felt foreign to him.
It had been several hundred years.
Jun Ye unlocked the phone with his fingerprint, tapping through each app as he slowly familiarized himself with a life that, to him, had long since passed.
Click—
The bathroom door swung open, and Jun Ye blinked in surprise. Hadn’t it only been a minute?
Then, he saw his companion re-emerge in the form of a 36D-chest woman, though the lower half remained flat.
Jun Ye fell silent.
The “nurse” seemed oblivious, catching sight of the phone in Jun Ye’s hand. He let out a small huff and said, “Is there no signal? I won’t keep you trapped for long. The effects of the magic circle will disappear in five minutes.”
Jun Ye glanced down at the phone, realizing he hadn’t even noticed the lack of signal. Isolating a signal wasn’t something mere illusions could achieve.
“A magic circle… Are you a mage?” Jun Ye scanned the room, searching for the mentioned circle.
The “nurse” had already grabbed the cart, ready to leave, but turned back in surprise at the question. “You only just realized? Our Mage’s Guild has been fighting against your Dragon Group in China for two or three years now. And you’re the head of China’s superhuman organization? How could you also be so out of touch?”
“Also?” Jun Ye raised an eyebrow.
The “nurse” quickly cleared his throat. “I mean, our guild leader is so busy every day he doesn’t even have time to date.”
Such a clumsy cover-up. Jun Ye didn’t even bother to call him out on it. Instead, he simply said, “China’s superhuman organization isn’t the Dragon Group, and I have nothing to do with them.”
“What?” The “nurse” stared at him in disbelief. Had he been targeting the wrong group all along?
“Ahem, actually, I only just joined the guild, and I’m just a low-level errand runner,” the “nurse” said with a sheepish smile. “Your superhuman organization must be very secretive. It’s normal for someone at my level to be out of the loop.”
From this, Jun Ye deduced three things: One, this person had been with the guild for a long time; two, his position in the guild wasn’t low; and three, the information he had was surprisingly limited.
Jun Ye, feeling generous, offered, “Our superhumans are spread across China. The organization has been public knowledge for a long time—anyone on the street could tell you about it.”
The “nurse” blinked awkwardly. “…”
Jun Ye smiled.
“Cough, what’s the name of your superhuman organization?”
Jun Ye pointed to the badge on his uniform jacket.
“City… management and enforcement?”
“That’s right.” Jun Ye nodded.
The “nurse” had a moment of realization. “I’ll remember that.”
Jun Ye glanced at his phone screen and then looked at the “nurse.” “I have a signal now.”
The “nurse”: “?!!”
Before Jun Ye could say anything else, he watched his companion let go of the cart, dash to the window, and—after transforming into a large, plump pigeon—fly out.
“Captain!”
Bang—
The door burst open as Bai Mao stormed in. Ice shards began to form from the door to the windowsill, the sharp spikes reaching out into the air.
The white pigeon turned its head, and with a flash of red light, a wall of fire erupted, halting the ice spikes just short of the windowsill. Sweat beaded on Bai Mao’s forehead, but he couldn’t advance the ice any further.
As the fire dissipated, the pigeon was already gone.
Jun Ye released his grip on his gun.
“Damn it!” Bai Mao clenched his fist, shattering the ice into powder.
“Are you okay, Captain?” He inspected Jun Ye closely, noting the disheveled clothes but seeing no sign of injury. Only then did he grumble, “It was that white bird. After you were attacked, I once saw a white bird in a nearby tree. No wonder we could never track down the psychic superhuman.”
“A shapeshifter, illusionist, and fire user—why doesn’t he just go to heaven?”
Bai Mao suddenly paused, remembering that the bird had just flown away. He groaned in frustration, “Damn it, he really did!”
This was a mess to translate I kept on getting confused by the author’s sudden flow cuz they went from flirting to suddenly talking about guilds and enemies and whatsoever and I have no idea what’s going on tbh lmao but okay I guess…?
