The body of the SWAT officer was split into two and they fell to the ground in a twisted manner, forever losing his ability to move.
Shen Changze jumped up and grabbed a person’s shoulder. He cut out his neck with a slash of his nails. Supported by the fallen body of the person, he slammed his knee into the chest of the person next to him. The person’s sternum was sunken and kicked off to fly back five to six metres away. Once he fell to the ground, he did not move anymore.
Those experienced SWAT officers were stunned by what happened in just two seconds. Those who reacted quickly frantically overtook Shen Changze by firing a shot.
It’s a pity that Shen Changze’s moving speed was too fast. He jumped on some people’s bodies and bit off half of their necks without them being able to raise their guns. Even if a bullet hits him, it couldn’t penetrate his hard scales at all.
Shan Ming witnessed a soul-stirring killing.
That’s right. It wasn’t a fight at all. It’s just a one-sided killing.
Those one-in-a-million elite special forces, in front of this little golden monster whose height is less than their waist, became as fragile as a piece of paper. They could easily be torn to pieces.
Shan Ming could fully understand their despair. The monster they encountered in Yunnan seven years ago, apart from being an adult and with black scales, was not much different from Shen Changze in appearance. It had the same unbelievable speed as Shen Changze. Its strength and defensive power were just like a wild animal. It could kill people with every move. At that time, the proud mercenaries of ‘Peregrine Falcon’ were as helpless as children in front of the monster.
That kind of experience was really crazy. It was because they encountered unexplainable things. They encountered forces that they couldn’t resist. No matter how hard the rabbit trained its body, it would never be able to compete with a lion.
The smell of blood made people want to vomit. The child is like a beast that has lost its mind, attacking the enemy frantically with its sharp claws and fangs. Pieces of blood and internal organs are splashed everywhere. It was similar to a wolf breaking into a rabbit’s cage. The wailing and screaming can make people’s ears numb. Blood flows like rivers on the grey concrete floor.
Shan Ming looked at the destructive power of this little monster in disbelief. Fear rose in his heart.
A bullet finally hit Shen Changze’s cheek and a deep bloodstain was drawn on the delicate flesh. Shen Changze wiped his face with his hands. He then became even more manic. He rushed towards the person who shot him. He grabbed his neck with one hand.
The man yelled crazily. The air was filled with the smell of burnt flesh and he stopped moving after a while.
When Shen Changze threw the man on the ground, the man’s neck seemed to have touched a branding iron. A circle of flesh was burned off and the entire throat was burned. No one knew how it happened.
In the blink of an eye, more than ten SWAT officers had fallen into a pool of blood. The rest of them were full of fear. They looked like they had seen a ghost.
Some people shouted to retreat. These people kept the last calmness of the soldiers and tried to leave before they were all killed. But the little monster’s eyes were blood red and he was completely annoyed. He didn’t intend to let these people go.
Just when the SWAT officers were desperate, a black shadow suddenly jumped in from the side and jumped on Shen Changze. There were two creatures. One was black and one was gold. They flew out and hit the car behind with a bang, smashing the door out. A big hole was formed.
Shan Ming endured the dizziness caused by blood loss and wanted to see what could keep up with Shen Changze. Those SWAT officers couldn’t even touch his tail.
The two figures separated and Shan Ming saw clearly that the black shadow was actually an adult creature! There are also scales, a horn, wings, and a tail. But the colour of the scales are blue.
Shan Ming vaguely felt that the creature’s face was familiar.
The adult creature turned his head and said to the commanders of the SWAT: “Leave. I will deal with him.”
The commander turned pale with fright and said hoarsely, “Captain House…”
Cold sweat broke out on the forehead of the man known as Captain House, “I believe that your appearance is enough to prove the accuracy of my refusal to act rashly. Go back and deal with those old bastards who are eager for quick success!”
The commander gave him a military salute and shouted to his men, “Let’s go!”
Shan Ming recognized this man. He was the captain of the SWAT team who fought with them in the hostage rescue operation that day.
Shen Changze was panting and he seemed to be attracted to his own kind in front of him. But when he saw those people leaving, he immediately jumped up to chase after them.
Captain House stepped in front of him, grabbed his scaly, slippery arm, and put his hand around his neck.
Shen Changze also reached out and grabbed the captain’s arm tightly. His sharp claws pierced through his scales and pierced into his flesh.
Captain House gritted his teeth and punched Shen Changze on the head with a heavy blow. When he was dizzy, he grabbed his horns and threw him away.
Shen Changze shook his neck and got up from the ground. His body rushed up like lightning. He slammed onto House’s chest. The two fell to the ground and fought like two lions. The whole scene was bloody and frightening.
Shan Ming knew that if he hadn’t seen such a wonderful and once-in-a-lifetime show, he would never have been able to believe it happening until now. He didn’t know if he could survive this day, but at least, if he was finally bitten to death by a monster, he died knowing such creatures exist.
Shen Changze’s sharp claws penetrated the scales on House’s abdomen. House’s claws pierced his shoulders again. The two rolled on the ground, covered in other people’s blood, fighting desperately.
Seeing the opportunity, House drew Shen Changze’s fleshy wings with his tail, causing him to howl in pain and rolled to the side.
When he got up from the ground, Captain House was already running off towards the gate.
Shen Changze chased a few steps in the direction of the gate when he suddenly stopped as if remembering something. He then turned to look at Shan Ming.
Shan Ming also looked at him. He looked at his blood-red eyes and his body which does not have any human features except for a face.
Shen Changze walked towards him unsteadily.
Shan Ming calmed down and just looked at him like that.
Shen Changze stood in front of him. The red colour of his eyes gradually faded and tears flowed down from his eyes. He opened his mouth and said in a hoarse voice: “Baba… what am I…?” After speaking, he fell to his knees on the ground with the sound of a plop.
Shan Ming heaved a sigh of relief. It seemed that he didn’t have to be bitten to death in an unconscious state.
“Baba.” The child stretched out his bloody paw, trying to touch his face.
Shan Ming hurriedly said, “Don’t touch me.”
The child’s hands froze in mid-air. The lights in his pupils flickered. It was as if he was getting a little out of control, a little angry, and a little manic. But it finally turned to sad again.
Shan Ming looked at his hands, “There is something wrong with your blood. Wipe your hands clean first.”
The child froze for a moment. He lifted his clothes and wiped his hands. He didn’t expect that a big hole would be burned out of the thin cloth in an instant.
Shan Ming squinted his eyes weakly, “Your blood is acidic… Damn, what are you?” He had used this child as a mosquito repellant for so long. It turned out that his blood is acidic that it could even burn people’s necks off!
The child cried again, “Baba, what am I? What am I?”
Shan Ming shook his head. The blood loss made him even more tired, “Can you fucking wait until I die before you started to cry?”
Only then did Shen Changze wake up from his daze. He looked at the bloody and weak Shan Ming. He quickly wiped the blood off his hands on the ground and picked him up. He brought him to one of the off-road vehicles left by the SWAT team.
He dug out the medicine box in the car. He needed to stop Shan Ming’s bleeding first. He gave him antibiotics and a nutrient solution. He then started the car and drove back to the city.
When his hands touched the steering wheel, he realised that his hands had turned back into a human.
