DFYMHGFS Chapter 35

"Older brothers' tea party, younger brother, don't interrupt."

Rebirth of the Little Actor – Chapter 35

35 – “Older brothers’ tea party, younger brother, don’t interrupt.”

The Shen family’s villa is very large. After all, the elderly and children live here. During holidays, other family members will also come over.

Today is a working day, and there are only two elderly people and two children at home. After meeting Ning Rong, the two old men would tell their other sons and juniors about the mistake.

On the sofa in the living room, An Xing hugged her beautiful little niece and nestled in it.

“Uncle, who is he?”

The little girl is three years old this year. She likes beautiful women the most. As long as An Xing comes, she can’t see anyone else in the family. She lies softly in An Xing’s arms and acts like a baby.

Ning Rong sat next to her, silently watching An Xing hug the little girl, sit cross-legged on the sofa, and introduce him in a formal manner.

“He is the same as me, you also have to call him uncle.”

The little girl tilted her head in confusion: “What does it mean to be the same as you?”

Noticing the movement around him, Ning Rong turned his head and saw a little boy beside him, who looked almost exactly like the little girl, also tilted his head.

“That is to say, he is also my mother’s son, so he is also your uncle.”

The matter of holding the wrong child is too complicated. Adults only need to know about it. There is no need for a three-year-old little dumpling to understand.

An Xing explained carefully in simple terms. When he saw the little girl’s confused face, he knew that the other party did not understand, and sighed in his heart.

My little niece is clumsy, but she always pesters him with questions every time we meet. After asking, she still doesn’t understand. She is so clever and loves to ask questions!

The little girl rolled in the boy’s arms and looked at the big boy next to her. Her round eyes were like those of a puppy, and she called out in a milky voice: “Uncle~”

Ning Rong:……

Ning Rong reached out silently and rubbed the little girl’s head.

Well, although he is clumsy, he is really well-behaved.

An Xing touched it and felt something was wrong. He turned the little girl over in his arms with a serious look on his face.

“Yan Yan, why do you call him uncle and me little uncle?”

“My little uncle is stupid, you can’t even tell.”

The little girl remained silent and the little boy answered confidently.

“Because you are very small, and the uncle is very big! You are the younger brother, and of course you will be the younger uncle in the future!”

The young man’s eyes widened and he was speechless as he looked at his eldest cousin’s son. You look so cute, why are you trying to trouble me?

Ning Rong glanced at the nephew next to him with approval and rubbed his head.

An Xing was fuming and couldn’t argue with his little nephew. He could only rub his little niece in his arms depressedly: “Brother, he was born fifteen minutes before me!”

Damn it, after he got to know Ning Rong, he should have let Ning Rong call him brother several times without mentioning the wrong thing!

The little girl patted An Xing’s arm with her fleshy hand and sighed gracefully.

“Little uncle, don’t be sad. I was born two minutes later than my brother, so he is my brother.”

An Xing leaned over and kissed her little niece, feeling moved and melancholy: “Our faces are so cute!”

“Little uncle is cute too!”

Ning Rong and the little boy sighed silently at the same time.

Shen Ying and the two old men sat next to each other, watching the children getting along harmoniously, with smiles on their faces unconsciously.

Mrs. Shen leaned over and held her daughter’s hand: “They are both good children, you can rest assured.”

Shen Ying nodded slightly, almost reluctant to look away from the two children.

For some reason, she always felt a sense of panic since she knew she was hugging them by mistake. She was worried that Ning Rong would refuse to recognize them, and that something would happen to An Xing.

This kind of panic and uneasiness as if losing a child appeared suddenly, but was inexplicably real – especially after An Xing went out to find Ning Rong last night, her heartbeat was so fast that she could hardly breathe.

Her panic could only subside a little when she saw both children in front of her.

“Dad, Mom, you don’t know,” Shen Ying whispered, “I don’t think about anything right now, I just hope they are safe.”

Mrs. Shen patted her little daughter’s hand pityingly, and Mr. Shen smiled.

“They are all good kids, and good kids will be fine.”

An Xing seemed to feel something and was buried by two little dumplings. He tried his best to turn around and look in the direction of Shen Ying, showing a big smile to the woman. Shen Ying felt a little healed and smiled softly.

The young man has a pair of round, almond-shaped eyes that sparkle brightly when he smiles, and the ends of his eyes are slightly upturned. Chen Ying’s almond-shaped eyes are not as round as An Xing’s, and when matched with her facial features, they look even more bright and charming. Although they are not related by blood, the two of them are equally full of life when they laugh.

Ning Rong unintentionally turned his head sideways and froze for a moment when he saw the two of them smiling. While he was dumbfounded, his little nephew climbed out of An Xing’s arms and stepped on the sofa to pounce on him. An Xing’s center of gravity was unsteady and fell forward, his little niece being hugged skewed to one side, and his little nephew even smashed his face against the sofa.

Ning Rong instantly returned to his senses, relying on his excellent motor nerves, and scooped up the three lumps.

“We’re back grandparents, little aunt is here too?”

The two identical boys who entered the door were silent as they looked at the lumps that had fallen into piles on the sofa.

After a long time, one of the twins spoke quietly.

“Little cousin, have you finally decided to kick Lu Tian Shen out and found another boyfriend?”

Ning Rong: ……

An Xing climbed up with her little niece in his arms and looked at the twins who had suddenly returned in surprise, and was confused. What about the fact that the promised cousins weren’t around, and that there would be grandparents telling everyone about the hugging mistake!

He was suddenly a little nervous, holding his little niece and wondering if he should go forward.

When he met his cousins in his last life, they were comforting him, but …… maybe they couldn t accept the truth when they first learned it? Maybe they were later persuaded by his aunt and uncle to figure it out so that they could continue to get along with him without any hard feelings?

After all, Ning Rong was their blood-related cousin, and An Xing felt that it would be normal if his cousins cared more about Ning Rong than him.

“Third Uncle is stupid, this isn’t a boyfriend, it’s elder uncle oh.”

At the moment of silence, the little girl nestled in An Xing’s arms, spoke in a milky voice.

Third cousin:? No, where did you get a Da Shushu?

Fourth cousin had already noticed something wrong at this point, silently sizing up Ning Rong and An Xing, before his gaze finally landed on Shen Qing and the two old people.

Old Mr. Shen smiled a little and waved at the two boys, speaking in a slow voice after they approached.

“Your little aunt carried the wrong child when she gave birth back then. His name is Ning Rong, and he is your blood-related cousin.”

Ning Rong frowned and stood up, subconsciously glancing at An Xing.

He hadn’t thought that this grandpa of his would directly say this kind of thing. What if these two subconsciously showed their rejection towards An Xing? Then how can An Xing still treat them as cousins in the future ……

“What about Xingxing? What’s the situation with Xingxing’s parents? Is he going to leave our family?”

The third cousin blurted out, and the fourth cousin followed suit and spoke in a deep voice.

“Xingxing was just a child back then, and it can’t be blamed on him for what happened, right?”

Ning Rong: ……

Ning Rong slowly sat back down on the sofa and took his little nephew, who had pounced over, into his arms with one hand.

Old Mr. Shen was satisfied with his grandchildren’s performance and smiled gratefully, “So, you now have two cousins.”

The twins turned around and saw their idiot little cousin holding his little niece, tearful and very touched as he looked at the two of them, and the other freshly popped cousin holding his little nephew, sitting on the sofa in a very dignified manner, without the slightest bit of dissatisfaction with the blatant favoritism they had just shown.

The twins looked at each other and walked over together.

“Shen Chen, this is Shen Xiao, I’m the older brother.”

Ning Rong stood up with the little boy in his arms, the three of them equally tall and handsome.

“Ning Rong.”

After a pause, he added.

“I’m also the older brother.”

An Xing suffocated his tears from being touched, “What? I haven’t agreed yet!”

Ning Rong turned back nicely, “Older brothers’ tea party, younger brother, don’t interrupt.”

An Xing: ……

An Xing looked at his third cousin for help, but saw that his third cousin reached out with great satisfaction, patted Ning Rong on the shoulder, and then pushed his fourth cousin towards him. The fourth cousin calmly walked over, with no intention of resisting at all.

The little girl looked up at An Xing, “Little uncle, what do you mean by tea party? Yan Yan also wants to participate!”

An Xing had a sad face, “……I also want to.”

After dealing with the things that piled up yesterday, it was already close to noon. Secretary Xu brought the information the boss had asked for and a packed lunch, and closed the door after entering the office.

“Boss, of the two things you asked me to investigate, the Ning family’s matter is easier to investigate.”

Ning Jingze and Gu Lan’s career trajectories were very simple and clear to check. Both of them went to teacher training schools and were assigned to become teachers after graduation. Ning Jingze started out as a middle school math teacher, while Gu Lan was an elementary school art teacher, and became a teacher at the same middle school after marrying Ning Jingze.

Because of the family of two workers, Ning Rong’s elementary and middle school were in the affiliated middle school, and he attended a key high school because of his excellent grades, and was admitted to the University of S after the college entrance exam.

“The Ning family’s financial situation has been very stable, and has not encountered too many major changes, there is no sudden burst of wealth and debt.”

Until junior high school, Ning’s family didn’t spend too much on education for Ning Rong. What’s more, because Ning Jingze was a math teacher, Ning Rong had plenty of resources available no matter which subject he wanted to improve extracurricularly. It was only after he had been admitted to a major high school that the family’s expenses on the child were a bit higher.

And the country’s economic takeoff was only in the last ten years; ten years ago, the gap between ordinary citizen families was not so large as to be exaggerated. The living conditions given to Ning Rong by the Ning family couple certainly couldn’t be compared to that of An Xing, but there was no shortage of daily necessities, or annual vacation trips to go out and play.

Although the life Ning Rong had lived in these twenty years wasn’t as affluent as An Xing, it really wasn’t that bad either.

An Zhaoming interrupted Secretary Xu’s report.

“That house of the Ning family is more than twenty years old, when did it come into Ning Jingze’s hands?”

“Twelve years ago.” Secretary Xu affirmed, “Mr. Ning became a middle school teacher twenty-two years ago, he met Ms. Gu that same year, and the two of them got married a year later, with Ms. Gu entering middle school. The year Ning Rong was born, Mr. Ning transferred, and another two years later, Ms. Gu transferred, and the two of them rented a house outside.”

“Twelve years ago, the elderly Ning family passed away and the house went to Mr. Ning. They found someone to redecorate the house and moved in.”

An Zhaoming’s eyes sharpened.

“This isn’t right, how did the two of them get stuck for two years with their transfer? Ms. Gu because she was pregnant and had a child, why was Ning Jingze stuck for two years?”

“Also, in the early years, teachers’ salaries weren’t high, but the various benefits were good. They should have been given housing by the school as teachers, so why didn’t they?”

The secretary hesitantly said, “This is something I also have suspicions about, but I don’t have connections on the school’s side, it’s a little hard to inquire ……”

An Zhaoming exhaled a breath, it was understandable.

“The Shen family has a lot of acquaintances in the education system, I’ll go back and talk to Ah Qing and let her find a connection for you. You inquire about this matter, why the Ning family couple has not been given a separate house and is still living like this ……”

On the surface there was nothing wrong, but An Zhaoming just felt that the Ning family’s life was a bit poor.

The state crackdown on extracurricular tutoring is just a few years ago, in those years, whether it was the math taught by Ning Jingze, or the art taught by Ms. Gu, it should be very popular in the extracurricular tutoring market. But it was as if the Ning family couple hadn’t thought about earning extra money to improve their conditions and make the family’s life a little better, which was unreasonable.

“Okay Mr. An, I’ll check again.” Secretary Xu nodded, “I checked by the way, why the Ning family members were giving birth in the same hospital as Madam at that time.”

An Zhaoming lurched and looked at his own secretary suspiciously.

“What’s wrong with that?”

“Madame gave birth back then at the Maternity and Childhood Hospital, and that side is more specialized in maternal and child healthcare, and relatively, the cost is slightly higher.”

“But the house that the Ning family couple rented at the time was far away from the Maternity and Childhood Hospital. With the distance and their financial situation at the time, they shouldn’t have chosen the same hospital to give birth.”

An Zhaoming was a bit surprised, then glanced appreciatively at his own secretary, “You continue.”

“I visited and questioned the old people who knew Ning’s family, as well as the old teachers at their school. Back then, Ms. Gu went out with Mr. Ning and had an accident on the way to the shopping mall, started early, called an ambulance, and was sent to the nearest women’s and children’s hospital.”

An Zhaoming understood what Secretary Xu meant – Ning Jingze was probably not familiar with the Maternity and Children’s Hospital, so it was unlikely that he would sneak in and exchange children.

What he had feared before, that the Ning family thought their family was rich and secretly switched the two children, was indeed a plot that would only be found in a TV show.

Seeing that his boss’s face eased up a lot, Secretary Xu took a deep breath and began to report the last thing.

“Regarding those rumors about An Xing, I checked the surveillance and privately called someone to inquire about it.”

“In the beginning, it was someone who privately spread the rumor that An Xing is your son. After a few days of such rumors being spread, they were countered by saying that An Xing, uh, couldn’t compare to An Hao in any aspect of talent, and definitely wasn’t your son.”

“And then, the rumor twisted into, An Xing not being your own son, so that’s why he can’t compare to An Hao.”

Looking at his own boss’s increasingly ugly face, Secretary Xu coughed lightly and uttered the last sentence.

“The rumor began at the marketing department.”
