The dragon claw opened, revealing a large, translucent white egg in front of the five people.

The eggshell had a crystalline texture, and at first glance, it seemed to emit a warm and gentle light. Under the soft light, faint golden patterns on the eggshell seemed to shimmer with the rhythm of the breath.

The eyes of the onlookers lit up, as this was undoubtedly a treasure egg!

Even the white elf was drawn in by its allure.

As if sensing the awe-filled gazes, the golden patterns on the eggshell pulsed with pride, as if showcasing its beautiful appearance to everyone.

The five of them instinctively took a step closer, wanting to examine it more closely.

However, before they could get a closer look, the giant dragon claw carefully closed, protecting the egg once again.

Seeing the elder dragon cautiously protect the egg, the five of them exchanged glances, quickly realizing that this must be no ordinary treasure but most likely a dragon egg!

Long ago, the dragons had gone mad and notified the entire continent that their Dragon Lord was about to be born. The entire continent was forced to offer countless treasures and celebrate for a whole year, all for a dragon that was still in its egg!

All races almost vomited blood. But who can reason with a group of dragons whose force value absolutely crushes anyone?

As the oldest race on the continent, the giant dragon clan probably has the greatest advantage in force but has the lowest chance of conceiving offspring.

Moreover, it is said that the color and attributes of the dragon matches with the color of the dragon egg.

But this dragon egg is white!

There are no white dragons at all!

Of course, it is not just an ordinary dragon egg! It is a dragon egg that houses the future dragon master of the dragon clan!

The three races—elves, beastmen, and dwarves—who lived near the Abyssal Enchanted Forest knew even more. Two days ago, the dragons went insane, claiming to have discovered the second Young Master, and they looted them under the pretext of celebration.

The searing dragon’s breath blew their hair and clothes, making them feel like their skin was burning. They had no doubt that if they dared utter half a word of refusal, they would be swallowed whole the next second.

They don’t even have a choice in this situation!

After bathing and dressing, the five people finally saw the precious dragon egg once again.

The egg was placed in a semi-circular groove on a stone platform. They were allowed to stand one step away from the edge of the platform to observe the dragon egg. If they wanted to touch it, they had to report to the dragon guarding it.

Jing Nian and the little dragon were both bewildered. The eggshell was only translucent, and they couldn’t see what was happening outside. Initially, when the dragons outside spoke, Jing Nian could hear them from inside the egg.

After a while, Jing Nian felt the egg shake, and then it was gently placed in a circular groove.

Soon after, he sensed those shadows again, standing at a distance from the dragon egg. The elder dragon outside lightly tapped on the eggshell, receiving the signal, and the little dragon immediately raised its tiptoes happily, using its tiny claws to respond.

Though the little dragon’s claws had started to harden, they were not hard enough, so after responding, the little dragon’s claws hurt. Its big round eyes immediately welled up with tears, and with a pitiful look, it climbed back into Jing Nian’s arms, sticking out its butt, asking for comfort.

“Wah-wah-wah… It hurts, it hurts…”

The more he coaxed the cub, the more it cried. The little dragon cub stretched out his painful claws to Jing Nian, “Ao wu.”

Jing Nian finally found out that the little dragon was in fact, no longer in pain. It just wants to act like a baby to him.

The four people were trembling in fear and confusion. The white elf also looked on quietly.

The massive dragon, Old Hesse, furrowed its brow and observed the five individuals for a moment. Suddenly, it seemed to have an epiphany and came to a conclusion: “It must be because you all are too ugly.”

The other people beside the beautiful elf couldn’t help but look at her in awe. She was immaculately white, with snow-white long hair, a gracefully curved body, and exquisitely beautiful features. Even her wings were delicate and beautiful. Her watery eyes were so enchanting that they felt their souls being purified.

Elves were known to be the most beautiful creatures on the continent, and pure elves were even more stunning. They certainly lived up to their reputation.

However, this lump of rock-like dragon dared to call them ugly, and it even included the exquisitely beautiful white elf?

All four of them widened their eyes in disbelief.

While saying that, Hesse called in a young dragon and took the five people to the treasure room to get dressed.

Suddenly, the little dragon in Jing Nian’s arms exclaimed in joy, forgetting about his “little brother.” He happily ran to the edge of the egg and touched it with his claws, exclaiming, “Ao! Shiny!”

After the little dragon’s voice fell, Jing Nian finally noticed several figures radiating dazzling light approaching the dragon egg.

The five figures were covered with colorful jewels. In Jing Nian’s eyes, they looked like five human-shaped lamp posts covered in neon lights.

But in the eyes of the little dragon, it’s the most attractive thing in the world.

The little dragon couldn’t wait to stick himself to the eggshell and catch those light spots.

One by one, the neon lamp posts approached the eggshell in turns.

The happy little dragon cub completely left his “little brother” behind.

The old dragon, Hesse, wrinkled his face even more. After pondering for a moment, he chose to ask, “Development… is there no problem?”

After all, the hatching was not far off, and the second young master had not even grown horns and dragon claw scales. How could there be no abnormalities?

The people cautiously looked at the dragon and shook their heads.

Only the most tranquil and serene white elf, under the gaze of the old dragon, slowly flapped her wings, her body adorned with dazzling gemstones. She gracefully approached the dragon egg, and in the sight of everyone, gently pressed her pristine and beautiful hand against the eggshell.

She closed her eyes and sensed once again.

As the little dragon approached the sparkling gems, it became joyful, feeling a gentle and affectionate touch. It clumsily placed its paw against the eggshell.

As the figure approached, Jing Nian should have been anxious and on guard, but inexplicably, the comforting aura emanating from the touch on the eggshell had unconsciously soothed him.

Outside the eggshell.

The white elf, with her eyes closed, suddenly revealed a heartfelt smile. Her voice was soft as she said, “I can sense them…”

After a while, the white elf let go, her beautiful eyes turning towards the dragon. Sincerely, she said, “Your two young masters are very healthy.”

“Them?”

The other four were astonished, but before they could ask anything, their breathing suddenly became constrained. A sharp gaze pierced through them from behind, and they stiffly turned around.

As soon as they saw the look in the dragon’s eyes, the four useless individuals were forcefully blown out of the dragon’s nest by a burst of dragon breath. Before they fell out, their golden gemstone clothes were stripped away.

Even the naturally powerful white elf could only sense that the two young masters were healthy but couldn’t find the cause of the second young master’s incomplete development.

The entire dragon clan fell into utter despondency because the dragon egg was about to hatch, and if horns and dragon claw scales didn’t grow before the hatching, it would be even more difficult to develop them afterward.
