The lawyer told Yuan Ya that a sum of money had flowed into a subsidiary of the company from abroad through various channels, which could be used to fill the debt.
The money should have been sent by the fugitive Song Xiangping, who had been trying to find a way to remit it. He had been in business for many years and likely had substantial assets overseas. However, Song Jin did not actually believe that Song Xiangping would voluntarily remit the money. It was just that he currently could not think of any other person that would help Yuan Ya.
If the situation became tricky, Song Jin thought of contacting Song Xinglan.

Song Jin felt sorry for his friends’ heartfelt efforts.

“Xiao Jin, we really have no other choice.” Zhao Hai interrupted him before he could finish asking. “The way Xinglan is now, only you can make him behave.”
Song Jin was horrified to hear that name and completely puzzled by Zhao Hai’s words. However, before he could ask why, Zhao Hai turned back, opened the yard door, and pulled someone in.
The young man was tall, wearing a hoodie and jeans, with slightly messy hair. He walked reluctantly, as if he didn’t want to be there.

He wanted to retreat and run back into the house immediately. But his legs were stiff and he couldn’t move. It was as if his body was not under his control.
Song Xinglan’s eyes rolled around, taking in the yard, before finally looking at Song Jin.
Their eyes met and Song Jin’s whole body stiffened. He wanted to run into the house. But his legs wouldn’t move.
The other person’s face was twisted as if he was about to cry. And his voice trembled with tears.
He shouted at Song Jin, “Ge–! I finally- finally found you!”
