Hi guys. I am so sorry. I was having internet problem that’s why I couldn’t post the chapter. Anyways it’s here have fun, bye guys…
Alfred chatted casually about information that would rock the entire galaxy in a few hours.
“It’s you…” Austin nearly shouted out, but he soon realized that their biggest political enemy was sitting close and listening, so he modified his comments to “You already know?”
“It seems I’m not the only one who knows this.” Alfred looked at Xiu, “The prince is not surprised at all, as if he had expected this to happen.”
Xiu nodded quietly and commented, “People will die anyway, so why panic.”
Austin was slightly numb.
A top-priority internal message delivered as soon as possible, breaking news that may shock the empire, reached the mouths of these two persons; one criticized him for “making a fuss,” while the other remarked, “Why panic.”
“So, does your head still hurt?” Alfred suddenly posed an inconsequential inquiry.
Xiu Dao says, “Much better.”
As he said, he took up the book Alfred had just taken away, opened it, and resumed reading.
Austin glanced at the book’s cover. It was a novel called “Our Home: Heaven or Hell.”
This famous scientific novel describes the tale of ancient humans who migrated to the current galaxy before their resources ran out after they departed their home planet, Earth.
Our forefathers were unquestionably fortunate to have avoided devastation in space, but the new stars and planets around them did not provide everything they required for survival. Ancient science and technology were severely constrained here, and humankind made numerous agonizing attempts to maintain civilization. Ordinary people’s lives have only become stable three eras later.
This book explains in simple terms the benefits and drawbacks of today’s intergalactic natural environment for the progress of human civilization. It received an award when it was initially published twenty years ago. It’s a great popular science book.
Whether Xiu was truly observing or only pretending, Austin couldn’t help but feel silly.
Even though the second prince and the first empress had always been on opposing sides, they were blood siblings who had been together for almost two decades. His brother had recently died, and his look was unchanging. He even casually read prevalent science books as if the deceased were a little insect rather than a great prince.
Alfred, who was so unlike Austin, couldn’t help but smile.
Xiu’s indifference to the other prince pleased him. Seeing Xiu’s scornful and indifferent demeanor made him happier than learning of the second prince’s death, and the imprecise confirmation of a certain kind of assumption piqued his interest.
Xiu did this on purpose. He had known for a long time that the second prince’s death was imminent and had purposefully delayed the event.
“Your Highness, Prince!” Your Highness, the Oral Order of the Holy Golden Palace—-“
The guard who delivered the message rushed in through the door.
The three people in the room had already predicted the contents. Before he could stand still, the guard announced, “Your Majesty is urgently calling you back!” “Your Highnesses, please return to the main planet immediately.”
Alfred questioned, “Can you tell me why?”
The guard also expressed a hazy sense that something significant had occurred and remarked tensely, “No. That is the complete material of the oral lecture.”
“I know, let’s go.”
Alfred waved him off.
“If you don’t return my handheld to me, the situation will be very unfavorable for you.” Xiu replied calmly, gazing up from the page at Alfred, “If the outside world can no longer contact me, they will think you are preparing to kill two brothers in one go.”
“No, Prince, are you intending to blame this matter on me?” Alfred returned his gaze without hesitation, “Didn’t the Prince act on the second prince’s behalf? What has it got to do with me?
“He’s on the main star; I’m on the Snow Li planet. How can I take action?”
Alfred asked, “Aren’t I also in Xuelixing?” The Prince’s claim against me is baseless.”
“The same words are returned to the prince.” Alfred asked Austin, “When are you expecting to hear it here?”
“Ah, I…” Austin was paying close attention as the two men accused each other. He was initially convinced that Alfred had done it, but after observing the two of them, he wasn’t so convinced. At this point, it was unexpected. When he clicked on it, he was perplexed for a second.
He continued, “Bring the one from the interrogation room with you. We will meet directly at the starship port – come to me after you get on the spaceship.”
The emperor’s oral instructions arrived quickly and abruptly, and Austin realized that now was not the time to speak, so he bowed carefully and went.
Alfred pulled out a small, spherical handheld device and tossed it to Xiu, who grabbed it with one hand.
“Why are you so eager to take action? We had not lived under the same roof in a long time.” Alfred spoke.
Xiu adjusted his handheld device and said, “It’s not me.”
“That’s strange.” Alfred asked, “It’s not you, it’s not me. How come he’s dead?”
Correction entailed systematically providing instructions as if there was no need to think at all, or in other words, it has already been considered. While entering information into the handheld device, he asked, “Have you read this book?”
He was referring to the copy of ‘Our Home: Heaven or Hell’ on the table.
Alfred didn’t realize why the conversation had shifted to this issue. He answered, “Of course, I’ve read it. Wasn’t this obligatory reading at school?”
“The book mentioned that due to the environment and limited technology, many famous scientists in history committed suicide in despair.” After issuing the instructions, Xiu got up and stated, “The second prince has been studying; perhaps he has come into contact with the technology barrier.”
He maintained a calm demeanor, and his countenance remained constant. It was tough to determine whether he was seriously speculating or ridiculing.
Alfred couldn’t stop laughing, so he stepped forward, wrapped his arms around his shoulders, and walked out.
“Yes, it is probably suicide. “Hahahaha, if we say this in the Shengjin Palace when we return, the old man will be furious.”
Xiu allowed to carry him in his arms but hesitated as they reached in front of the gate, saying, “You are too excited today; it is inappropriate.”
“Am I excited?” No.” Alfred tightened his collar and cuffs: “No, I’m quite heavy.”
The door to the villa opened, and the guards stationed outside saluted respectfully.
The crown prince and the prince were seen walking out one by one. They went hurriedly and looked sad. They boarded a snowmobile waiting outside and rushed off to the spaceship port.
Because of the Shengjin Palace’s stance, no one dared to delay. On that day, the royal ship launched from the starship port at Xueli Star and headed for the central star.
This royal ship was initially the prince’s only mode of transportation during this voyage, but when he went back, things had changed dramatically.
The prince’s crew still controlled the cockpit, but a floor was created on the spacecraft for the third prince and his party to live on. Although Alfred’s entourage was less than the prince’s, with several officers present, including Austin, the two factions were comfortable. The two were evenly matched, and the situation aboard the spacecraft remained delicately balanced.
“Wait a minute.” Alfred noticed Xiu about to go upstairs and reached out to hold him.
The spaceship’s attendants remained nearby. Alfred moved close to Xiu’s ear and whispered, “Even though the location has changed, you promised not to lock the door at night, correct?”
Xiu did not confirm or deny. He raised his eyes and looked across at the few staff members opposite. They were all old attendants of the prince. When they caught his sight, everyone lowered their heads deeply.
Xiu then reached out and pushed Alfred aside since he was too close, saying, “You should talk to your people first. Then, if you still want to come, come.”
After he finished speaking, he turned to go upstairs.
Regardless of Xiu, Alfred would have contacted Austin right away.
The half-day it took for the spaceship to take flight allowed a simple message of “the death of the second prince” to be developed into more specific information.
When Austin entered Alfred’s room, the very first thing he inquired about was, “Did you do it?”
“That depends on the information you tell me next.” He said, “At this time, it is not convenient for me to contact the people on the main planet in person.”
Austin gasped, which amounted to admission. Alfred meant that the stage of clearing suspicions was about to begin, and it would be too risky to call the killer to corroborate the facts at this point.
He is too daring, and… does he already have such potential energy on the main planet? The prince’s murder was organized without the Stone family’s involvement.
Austin felt both thrilled and frightened at the same time. He was pleased that the master’s ability exceeded expectations and that their team had a solid chance of winning. But he was concerned that the third prince would not be unhappy with the Stone family from start to finish.
“How did you make him commit suicide?” he inquired, his eyes wide.
Alfred was surprised for a time, as if he hadn’t heard correctly, and inquired, “Since…what?”
“My father personally sent me the encrypted information just now.” Austin stated, “The second prince committed suicide.”
