⌈Weekend update: 0/2⌋
Gu WenCheng returned to his residence with an unchanged smile.
Li ZouXing followed behind him, smiling playfully, as he dealt with communication requests on the computer.
After he revealed his skill, the inexperienced interstellar folks gathered around him and made a fuss for quite a while. Many attractive young ladies blocked his way, insisting on getting Li ZouXing’s star network ID.
In their eyes, conjuring a flower out of thin air was truly romantic! Even the ordinary ponytail flower gained a different radiance and charm.
However, Gu WenCheng, holding two ponytail flowers in his hand, entered the room and casually tossed the flowers onto the table.
Li ZouXing raised an eyebrow imperceptibly, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. He suppressed his amusement, acting as though nothing had happened, and leisurely sat down on the edge of the bed.
“Is it easy to have a one-night stand on Ma Wei Star?” Gu WenCheng suddenly remarked, catching Li ZouXing off guard.
“I don’t know, this is my first time on Ma Wei Star,” Li ZouXing replied. He furrowed his brow, somewhat embarrassed. “But I’d rather not have a one-night stand. I’m still a pure and innocent young man.”
“You seem quite enthusiastic, though.”
Innocent? Yeah, right.
Acting innocent, despite being so precocious at the age of nine? Was that really innocence?
There were many moments when Gu WenCheng felt that Li ZouXing was a sly fox, but when he looked at him, reason told him that this feeling was utterly absurd.
The only thing Gu WenCheng wanted to know now was whether Li ZouXing had genuinely forgotten or was pretending to forget. Either possibility would infuriate Gu WenCheng.
Lost in thought, Gu WenCheng allowed time to slip by unnoticed. When he snapped back to reality, Li ZouXing had already undressed and was lying in bed, ready to sleep.
A pair of eyes stared at him. “WenCheng, go to sleep already.”
Gu WenCheng turned off the light, and Li ZouXing watched him lie down on the other bed. He observed every move, his eyes shining bright in the darkness.
“…Don’t stare at me,” Gu WenCheng said, feeling the weight of Li ZouXing’s gaze.
“Oh.”
Li ZouXing obediently averted his gaze and turned around, facing away from Gu WenCheng.
After a while, Gu WenCheng grew more irritated. “Why aren’t you looking at me?”
“…” This cuteness was bordering on being against the rules.
Li ZouXing, still facing away, mumbled, “Didn’t you tell me not to look at you?”
Gu WenCheng retorted, “You actually listen to me?”
The slight mockery in his tone was enough to drive any man crazy. As Li ZouXing wished, he turned around with a swish and fixed his gaze on Gu WenCheng again.
But he continued grumbling, “We’re both men, what’s there to see?”
Gu WenCheng suddenly sat up, his face darkening as he surveyed the room. He found a black eye mask and covered Li ZouXing’s eyes with it.
“Is this okay?” The voice on the other end was low and tinged with anger. “Satisfied now?”
“Fine,” Li ZouXing could see nothing now, not even tofu, let alone Gu WenCheng’s face. He sighed deeply. “Let’s go to sleep.”
In no time, his breathing had become steady, but Gu WenCheng tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
After a long while, he sat up, propped himself on the bed, and silently put on his clothes. He then leaped out of the window and hurried to the nearest entertainment venue in Ma Wei Star’s port.
Visiting such a place at such a late hour meant the men and women there were seeking enjoyment.
Less than half an hour after entering, Gu WenCheng returned to the room, his face ashen.
Li ZouXing’s calm breathing disturbed his thoughts, one breath after another.
He wiped off the lipstick marks on the side of his face, standing beside Li ZouXing’s bed with a displeased expression.
When those women tried to kiss him, Gu WenCheng didn’t even know why he had dodged them.
And after dodging, he felt a strange sense of relief.
As if being kissed by those women would lead to something regrettable.
It was simply unimaginable.
Calming his emotions, Gu WenCheng walked to the table, intending to pour a glass of water. From behind, he heard Li ZouXing’s voice, still drowsy. “Wasser1huh? Is this right??”
Gu WenCheng stiffened and instinctively took two steps forward, moving into an even darker corner.
This reaction exposed him. Li ZouXing woke up from his sleep in an instant. He got off the bed, his upper body bare, and barefoot, he walked towards Gu WenCheng.
Frowning, he asked in a cold voice, “You’re still following us.”
“Stop,” Gu WenCheng lowered his voice, panicking, “Stay right there, don’t move.”
He pressed himself tightly against the dark corner, only a vague silhouette for Li ZouXing to catch.
Li ZouXing halted, his foot in mid-air. “How did you know we were on Ma Wei Star?”
Gu WenCheng’s heart raced, thinking Li ZouXing could probably hear it!
It was too dangerous now. He didn’t have his mask, and he hadn’t intended for “Wasser” to appear on Ma Wei Star. Not to mention, Gu WenCheng’s bed was empty, and if Li ZouXing looked back, his true identity would be completely exposed.
But his instinctive reaction and the feigned voice had already proven without a doubt that he was indeed Wasser.
Gu WenCheng had never thought he could be so foolish.
He tried his best to keep his voice from revealing anything, “It’s a complete coincidence. Who could have known you were on Ma Wei Star?”
Li ZouXing sneered, “Fine, another coincidence—then explain why you’re in my room?”
“By the way, Gu WenCheng,” he whispered softly, just about to turn around and look at Gu WenCheng’s bed.
Gu WenCheng’s heart tightened, and he leaped forward, taking advantage of Li ZouXing turning around. He forcefully tackled Li ZouXing to the ground.
A loud thud.
“Damn it…”
Li ZouXing, who had been solidly thrown to the ground, cursed lowly, “Wasser, are you out of your mind!”
A tearing sound followed, the sound of fabric being ripped apart.
The next moment, Li ZouXing’s eyes were covered, something obstructing his vision. The idiot who ambushed him had tied a knot while he was preoccupied with the pain.
So tight that it hurt his eyes.
Li ZouXing took a deep breath, mustered his strength, and in the next instant, he reversed the situation by grabbing the person on top of him. Their positions switched, allowing “Wasser” to experience a sense of vulnerability.
The strip of cloth was quite long. Apart from covering his eyes, there was still plenty of length that swept across Gu WenCheng’s face.
Li ZouXing felt the location of Gu WenCheng’s hand, pressing it above his head. His legs held “Wasser’s” legs, neutralizing all the struggle underneath him, ensuring “Wasser” could only be confined under his control.
However, due to restraining him, Li ZouXing couldn’t use his hands to remove the blindfold from his eyes.
“Playing games with me?” Li ZouXing gritted his teeth. “Huh? Blindfolding me, why? Afraid I’ll see you?”
He paused, then continued, “Wasser, don’t tell me you didn’t bring your mask.”
Gu WenCheng’s resistance momentarily stiffened.
Amidst the recent panic, he hadn’t had time to think clearly. He had torn off the fabric from his own arm, and it had gone all the way to his chest, leaving his remaining clothes half-covered and half-exposed, in a truly disheveled state.
With every struggle or movement Li ZouXing made, the clothing hanging onGu WenCheng would edge dangerously close to falling off.
But Li ZouXing couldn’t see.
The thin layer of fabric had now covered his last traces of sight in the darkness. He sensed the slight tensing of the person beneath him and chuckled instantly. “Oh~ So you didn’t bring your mask.”
He slowly lowered his head, as if trying to see through the cloth and glimpse Gu WenCheng’s expression.
Unconsciously, Gu WenCheng held his breath.
His nose and forehead were damp with sweat, trembling nervously, refusing to trickle down.
Li ZouXing had been blinded, but he wasn’t.
He watched helplessly as the blindfolded youth approached him, getting closer and closer. Despite his rational understanding that the other person couldn’t see anything, there was always a lingering feeling that the person had already seen who he was.
This sensation was like having his clothes stripped away, making his body increasingly sensitive. He could even feel the warmth of the other person’s breath spraying onto his face.
“Li ZouXing!” Gu WenCheng’s voice emerged huskily, tinged with gravelly tones. Li ZouXing paused in his actions, tilting his head and smirking. “Look at how you’re calling my name. Wasser, you even know my name now, yet you’re still trying to deny that you’re following me?”
Unable to clearly see the person beneath him, much to Gu WenCheng’s surprise, Li ZouXing’s head continued to lower until the tip of his nose brushed against Gu WenCheng’s.
Thud, thud, thud.
The sound of heartbeats reverberated in the quiet room like drums.
The sensation of sweat from his nose mingled with the other’s, and all he could smell was the scent of the other person.
Their breaths rose and fell in synchrony, matching each other’s rhythms. The exchange of air in and out became so intense that the oxygen seemed to coil.
“My hands and legs need to restrain you,” Li ZouXing whispered softly, “There’s no other way, Wasser. You conveniently forgot to wear that damned mask for once, so I have to know what you look like.”
His prominent nose bridge slid from Gu WenCheng’s nose to his forehead. “Your forehead is quite full.”
Gu WenCheng’s eyes remained tightly shut as Li ZouXing’s breath traveled from the top downward, passing over his brow, eyes, and cheeks.
“Is this your mouth?” Li ZouXing paused, his lips only a couple of finger-widths away from Gu WenCheng’s.
Gu WenCheng pursed his lips, attempting to turn his face away.
The sweat on his face had heated it to a rosy hue.
“Why turning away?” Li ZouXing playfully pursued his lips, insisting on speaking with proximity. “You blindfolded me so I couldn’t use my eyes, so I have no choice but to use this clumsy method.”
“You’ve already explored my face,” Gu WenCheng said, no matter which direction he turned, he would be met face to face. He felt a twinge of panic in saying those words, as if Li ZouXing’s lips could touch his at any moment. “Could you please keep your distance?”
“Who said I’ve finished exploring your face?” Li ZouXing arrogantly laughed, dragging out his words, “I haven’t touched the area where you talk, have I?”
“…” Gu WenCheng exerted force with his hands and legs, but Li ZouXing’s grip remained unshakable.
Damn it…
What did this guy eat to become this strong?
His mental power was useless, and even Wasser’s dignity was about to crumble!
Gu WenCheng forced himself to stay calm, but Li ZouXing was pressing down on him, their faces were so close, who the hell could stay calm in this situation!
“Don’t move,” Li ZouXing unexpectedly pinched his waist, “Ask… ask yourself, who wouldn’t be a bit on guard when someone is facing them like this?”
Gu WenCheng almost couldn’t hold back his mental burst.
F*ck!
However, what happened the next second made him want to curse even more.
Li ZouXing lowered his head, and their lips brushed against each other. Li ZouXing’s lips pressed against his, kneading, rubbing, and the muffled voice came, “So… this is the shape of your lips…”
From the tip of his lips to the corners, he traced them over, exploring Wasser’s final facial feature.
