When discussing serious matters, their teammates seemed a bit slow to react.

Their gazes unconsciously drifted towards the two individuals sitting in front of them on the bed, only to discover that these two seemed to be without clothing.

But well, it’s normal for guys to sleep without clothes, isn’t it…

With every movement made by Li ZouXing and Gu WenCheng, even unintentional grazes of their arms against each other, their attention was successfully drawn to these points of contact.

Look, their hands touched!

Heavens, their faces are so close!

They were about to kiss, weren’t they!?

Gu WenCheng and Li ZouXing, both naturally sensitive individuals, found their movements becoming increasingly stiff. “NK-03 is a prohibited drug developed by the Empire…”

Their tone grew slower and more deliberate.

Normally thick-skinned and daring enough to engage in affectionate gestures even in front of their roommates, they now felt an awkwardness they had not experienced in a long time. Before the announcement, they were fearless, fearing that the world wouldn’t know about their relationship. After the announcement, they felt exposed under the scrutiny of their teammates.

The two shared the same blanket, and Li ZouXing’s back was marked with numerous scratches, while layers of love bites adorned his front. He began to feel uncomfortable, belatedly realizing it.

They exchanged a glance, accompanied by the crackling of lightning, and quickly averted their eyes before their teammates caught on.

A faint blush gradually spread across Gu WenCheng’s face. Their hands were entwined beneath the blanket, palms tingling, and it felt like their hearts were pounding louder than when they were sneaking around before.

Their teammates tried to maintain a serious facade to conceal their curiosity. “The pharmacist’s note on that paper, isn’t it about buying NK-03 from him?”

Quick, look! Gu WenCheng is blushing…

They peered under the blanket, imagining a scene of tangled long legs.

Their faces turned even redder than Gu WenCheng’s.

Li ZouXing, recovering from the awkward situation of a tough guy shedding tears, regained his composure. He was probably the most serious person in this group. After some contemplation, he said, “I don’t really understand the effects of NK-03.”

In the entire world, it was likely that only Gu WenCheng truly understood NK-03.

“Oh?” Their teammates hastily feigned ignorance. “Right, right, we don’t understand it either.”

Li ZouXing found it strange, “Why are your faces red then?”

Awkward…

After mentally conjuring images of intimate moments between brothers, they felt so embarrassed they couldn’t face anyone.

“Cough,” Ling Nian raised his voice, “Let’s sleep for tonight and discuss it tomorrow.”

Ji Yu led the two of them towards the door, feeling so embarrassed that they wished they could find a hole to crawl into. “Goodnight, ZouXing, WenCheng. Rest well, and we’ll continue the discussion tomorrow.”

As soon as the three of them stepped out of the door, they exchanged glances and suddenly burst into giggles.

“When we went in, they were kissing each other on the forehead, right?”

“If they were already together,” Ji Yu chimed in, “then that mark on ZouXing’s neck from this morning, was it bitten by WenCheng?”

With that remark, the three of them turned beet red and hastily retreated to their rooms, deciding not to dwell on that question any further.

Inside the room, Li ZouXing remained in a daze for quite some time. “Weren’t we supposed to discuss important matters?”

Gu WenCheng couldn’t hold back a laugh, and he pulled Li ZouXing in for another kiss, their lips teasingly close as he spoke, “Darling, now that everyone’s gone, let your big brother pamper you some more.”

“Wait a moment,” Li ZouXing stopped his advances, “Let me check if you’re injured.”

The next morning, their teammates, who had woken up early, had bought breakfast and called Si Wo Lin over, planning to take preventive measures.

Those who had teammates were indeed fortunate. Si Wo Lin bid farewell to his still-sleeping roommates with a joyful heart and went happily to join his teammates for breakfast.

Ji Yu, Xi Nan, and Ling Nian hesitated for a while but eventually decided to tell him directly, “ZouXing and WenCheng are together.”

Xi Nan added, “Together as in a romantic relationship.”

Si Wo Lin froze, holding food in his hand, suspended halfway to his mouth.

Their teammates were not only anxious about Si Wo Lin’s reaction but also somewhat amused.

This silly expression of his was probably how they all looked when they heard the news last night.

But after Si Wo Lin processed the information, his expression remained calm. “I’m happy for them.”

Xi Nan asked, “Aren’t you surprised?”

“Brotherhood,” Si Wo Lin repeated the words his roommate had said seriously, “If a brother needs it, when necessary, one can become a brother’s woman.”

This profound perspective left Ling Nian and the other two stunned in their tracks.

Si Wo Lin’s roommates had no idea how a casual joke had sparked such a profound philosophical discussion within the Dream Team.

“That’s great,” Si Wo Lin gave a small smile, “Now I can watch ZouXing and WenCheng’s sweet everyday life.”

“They really make one’s face flush and heart race, don’t they?”

The three of them who were still in shock muttered, “Face flush and heart race?”

“They still share a room,” Si Wo Lin pondered for a moment, “I don’t know when they started liking each other, but I’m very interested in it. I always feel that sharing a room is what created the opportunity for them to fall in love with each other.”

Ji Yu and Xi Nan, who were also sharing a room, subconsciously exchanged glances, feeling a bit choked up.

Xi Nan let out a wolfish howl, “I will never like you, Ji Yu! Don’t covet my strong physique!”

Ji Yu’s temples started to throb rhythmically. “Do you think I’d like a crybaby who always needs my help to wipe away tears?!”

“I’m not a crybaby!” Tears welled up in Xi Nan’s eyes, “Don’t call me a crybaby!”

Ji Yu sighed and took a handkerchief from his pocket. With actions somewhere between rough and gentle, he wiped away the tears in the corner of Xi Nan’s eyes. “Stop crying.”

Xi Nan snatched the handkerchief and turned his back to wipe his tears in the corner, his once robust back now looking pitiful.

Si Wo Lin and Ling Nian sat at the dining table, watching the two of them. Whenever someone spoke, they turned their gaze to that person, their eye movements synchronized. Ji Yu didn’t notice their attention, sighed, and eventually squatted next to Xi Nan, expertly comforting him with soothing words.

Ling Nian averted his gaze, suddenly feeling like he was some sort of treasure. When he saw Si Wo Lin, he was taken aback, and a sense of alertness emerged in his eyes. “You don’t like me, do you?”

Si Wo Lin looked puzzled, still chewing his food subconsciously. It was only after he finished his mouthful that he asked, “What?”

“…,” Ling Nian felt that he must have sounded like an idiot with what he just said, “It’s nothing.”

“The princess likes you,” Si Wo Lin pondered for a moment, “I like you too, but it’s the liking one has for a teammate. If you need it, I can also—”

“I don’t need it!” Ling Nian interrupted him without hesitation, his expression firm. “Thanks, liking me as a teammate is enough.”

Si Wo Lin pondered for a moment and then said slowly, “Are you trying to jinx it with that statement?”

The entire living room was lively and filled with laughter.

Just as Ling Nian’s temples throbbed uncontrollably, Li ZouXing and Gu WenCheng finally emerged from their room.

There was still a hint of moisture on their faces as they walked into the living room one after the other, and they greeted everyone, “Good morning.”

Radiating youthful energy and brilliant smiles, Si Wo Lin offered his blessings first, “WenCheng, ZouXing, I hope you two will always be together, forever happy.”

He said it with solemnity, and it undoubtedly brought a good mood to the day. Gu WenCheng beamed with joy and responded just as seriously, “I will take good care of him.”

Li ZouXing looked languid, fully satisfied. He leaned closer to Gu WenCheng’s ear playfully and joked, “Brother, then you better pamper me.”

“I’ll spoil you,” Gu WenCheng smiled, “Rest assured.”

Si Wo Lin watched their interaction with shining eyes, feeling like the air was filled with a sweet, joyful atmosphere that made everyone’s spirits soar.

The feeling that made one want to fall in love just by watching… Ling Nian cleared his throat, maintaining his image as the cool and handsome guy.

The group finished breakfast with smiles on their faces.

After the meal, it was time to discuss the upcoming match.

The next match in the Strongest Team Competition was two days away, and they were fortunate that it was a virtual world match, sparing them the trouble of traveling back and forth and avoiding any unforeseen incidents.

They were genuinely afraid of any unexpected incidents when going outside.

“I wonder what kind of virtual world format they’ll use,” Li ZouXing pondered. “Adventure, escape, missions… and what else?”

“The AI brain of the Strongest Team Competition should be much more serious than the one in the Sky Garden, right?” Ji Yu hoped there wouldn’t be any more Princess incidents. “We can’t always escape those clichés, but it’s definitely not going to be like the virtual world in ZouXing’s ghost stories, right?”

Li ZouXing looked at him with a complicated expression.

“…,” their teammates faced this familiar scene and felt their fists itching.

Si Wo Lin couldn’t help but laugh. “You must be jinxing it.”

Ji Yu finally realized and wore a troubled expression, refraining from speaking.

Seeing him like this, Xi Nan stepped up, looking fearless. “Even if it’s a horror story-themed virtual world, we’re not afraid! After all, we have ZouXing; he knows these stories the best!”

Among the group, he was the one most afraid of ghost stories. Li ZouXing sighed, “If it really is a horror story theme… just think about it, you’ll realize it’s different from telling stories.”

However, they still needed to be prepared; Ji Yu, the harbinger of doom, had spoken, and they couldn’t afford to be complacent.

They knew how accurate Ji Yu’s flags were, and once he said something, it couldn’t be taken lightly. Over the next two days, led by Li ZouXing, they practiced survival tactics from ghost stories.

They forced Xi Nan to listen to numerous ghost stories in the dark, and by now, Xi Nan’s tears had soaked through five or six of Ji Yu’s handkerchiefs.

Two days passed quickly, and in the final hour before the competition began, Li ZouXing emphasized, “Don’t go to the restroom alone, don’t shower alone, don’t look under the bed, and don’t answer if someone knocks on the door or calls your name at night.”

Gu WenCheng nodded, looking visibly eager, “I’ll stick to you at all times.”

“We’ll stick to you too, ZouXing,” Xi Nan quickly added, with a mournful expression on his face, “WenCheng, don’t start dating yet. Let’s eat, bathe, and go to the restroom together, okay? The virtual world is a two-day-one-night affair, and I’m scared.”

In reality, they were all a bit frightened. The unknown always left one feeling insecure.

If Ji Yu’s prediction turned out to be true, who knew if the weapons provided by the organizers would be of any use? Just listening to the stories made their scalps tingle. But somehow, the thought of stepping into such a world felt strangely exhilarating.

Ji Yu tried to save face, “It might not necessarily be exactly as I described.”

“I hope so,” Ling Nian said as he searched for information, attempting to find the symbols Li ZouXing mentioned to deal with supernatural entities. “But the good thing is, the organizers have only heard a few stories. Their logic in creating the virtual world might not be very strong, and I suspect it will be a bit of a hodgepodge.”

But before the competition, saying anything was futile.

The school’s robots delivered the magnetic cards for the competition. They inserted them into their virtual helmets, exchanged glances, and reluctantly placed them on their heads.
