“Heuk…”
Finally, his tears burst out. He was so scared and resentful. He missed his mother. If he knew this would happen, he wouldn’t have been annoyed when she gave him pocket money. Just how sad would his mother be when she found out he had died here? He didn’t want to die. He was only twenty-six years old.
Besides, without him, his mother couldn’t do anything properly. If she couldn’t pay their debt every month, those people would come looking for her. Before that happened, she had to run away to where his brother was. But did his mother have the courage to do that?
And the student loans that he took, would his mother be paying it off too? How could she pay off that money when she’s bedridden most of the day?
He hated the fact that in his life, even on his deathbed, all the thought was money and his mother. It felt unfair. He had lived so shittily for the past few years. If he had known he was going to die this soon, he wouldn’t have lived like that.
“Heuuuh…”
Kangwoo frowned at Heewoon, who was suddenly crying. His doe eyes that had been shining were now overflowing with tears.
“Why are you crying?”
“Heuk… I can’t die… Don’t kill me… I won’t say, heuk, anything to anyone. F-for real.”
As he spoke, his sobs grew louder. Kangwoo sighed in annoyance as he watched Heewoon crying loudly. Heewoon’s shoulders shook roughly at the sound.
“Think of how shitty I would feel if you suddenly started crying in the middle of our conversation.”
“Heuk… I’m sorry… Heuk…”
“Don’t cry.”
He wasn’t consoling him, it was a warning.
Heewoon became pale and covered his mouth, but his sobs escaped through his hands. His chest was rising and falling irregularly repeatedly. It wouldn’t have been strange if he fell backwards soon.
Kangwoo thought to himself.
Should I just kill him?
His hand slid down Heewoon’s wet cheek. When Kangwoo fingertips touched Heewoon’s pale and slender neck, his Adam’s apple moved.
“I really won’t, heuk, tell anyone, Kangwoo.”
Heewoon carefully spoke, fearing his throat would be choked soon. His wet eyes were scrutinizing the murderer’s expression, but Heewoon couldn’t read anything.
Kangwoo. Kangwoo. Please… I will really stay silent.
“……”
Kangwoo stared at Heewoon for a while before gently wiping the wet corner of his eye. Everywhere his fingers touched was damp and red. His round and uneasy pupils looked at him.
These eyes. It was these eyes that made Kangwoo leave the clumsy stalker alone. His face and voice were curt, but his eyes were sparkling. Whenever Kangwoo turned his back at him, Heewoon would make a yearning gaze. It was amusing.
At first, Heewoon only stalked him on campus, then on the way home, and then in front of his house. Heewoon’s stalking, which was getting further, stopped there.
He thought the stalking fucker was somewhat commendable for keeping his distance, but he felt a little disappointed. If only the stalker could see all of his sides entirely. He had that wicked thought.
But he was going to leave it at that. Until he was alerted that Woo Heewoon’s taxi was following his car.
“What should we do?”
The driver asked while glancing at the rearview mirror. Leaning back casually, Kangwoo raised his chin and looked out the window. After a while, he said,
“Leave him be.”
He was probably smiling then.
“They said that greed kills the cat.”
Kangwoo wiped Heewoon’s tears off his chin and looked at his features one by one. From the swollen eyes and nose, the plump lips smeared with blood, slender neck, and collarbone that was barely visible.
The corner of Kangwoo’s mouth slowly turned up.
He looked into Heewoon’s eyes that yearned only for him and asked,
“Did you want to hook up with me? Is that why you followed me?”
“Uh?”
Asking that question so suddenly, Kangwoo’s large hand wrapped lightly around the nape of his neck, fingers gently pressing against his collarbone.
“Tell me.”
“N-no…”
“I would be upset if you said no.”
The words came out quietly, but Heewoon bit his tongue in surprise. He felt a sharp pain, but he prioritized the feelings of the other person who was holding his life in his grasp.
“I want to hook up with Sunbae right now.”
Heewoon’s head spun around. Was Seo Kangwoo gay? As the police were on their way, the more time he could earn, the better his chances of survival. In that case, it might be better to have sex as Seo Kangwoo wanted. That was absolutely better than dying.
“I, I have thought about it before…”
Heewoon whispered in a small voice. When he looked at Kangwoo, he was smiling. His touch that went past his throat and caressed his stiff shoulder was gentle.
“Then, shall we fuck?”
The smiling face undoubtedly would have kept him awake at night in the past. But right now, he just felt scared of his unrequited crush, so he just nodded his head. Looking at Heewoon, Kangwoo’s smile turned sour.
“Take all your clothes off.”
Kangwoo straightened his knees and stood up.
Heewoon froze for a moment, then he placed his hands on the ground. Right here? Even without asking that, he had already done something wrong. His limbs trembled, and he struggled to get up. Kangwoo couldn’t stand his slow movements and sighed as if to warn Heewoon to listen. Heewoon’s trembling hands moved a little faster.
It was fortunate that he wore a dress shirt, but considering the prying eyes looking at his hands, he almost wished he didn’t wear a shirt with buttons.
As he unbuttoned his shirt, his fair skin was revealed. The garment fell off his angular shoulders and draped over his arms.
Heewoon glanced at Kangwoo and pulled his arms out of the sleeves, letting the shirt drop to the ground. The air here was unusually chilly for early October. He wondered if it was because of the dead people here. He closed his eyes tightly at the thought, not wanting to see the puddles of blood that would greet him if he turned his head around.
Ziiip. Heewoon unzipped his jeans and glanced at Kangwoo’s face. His expressionless face was watching him intently, observing every move of his body.
Why haven’t the police arrived yet? Heewoon’s gaze shifted to his abandoned phone lying on the ground.
“Hmm…”
Startled by Kangwoo’s movement, Heewoon quickly took off his pants. He looked at Kangwoo hesitantly before removing his shoes and socks too. Then, he clasped his hands together politely.
“What are you doing? You have to take off your underwear so I can ram into your anus.”
Heewoon’s body shrank back. He felt humiliated at the thought of being fully naked alone in this spacious room. He put his hands in his waistband and hesitated.
Kangwoo stared at his flat belly and licked his lower lip. The slim fingers on the waistband didn’t move.
Sighing as if he was telling him to hurry up, Kangwoo took a big step closer. Heewoon was startled and pulled down his underwear.
“I-I took it off!”
Kangwoo withdrew his outstretched hand and crossed his arms. He stared at Heewoon’s lower half. It was light in color, but looked plain. And, it was quite shriveled up.
“Don’t cover yourself.”
Heewoon’s hand that was moving down his connected legs stopped. Kangwoo walked around behind him, scanning his thin back and thighs, yet presentable meaty butts with his eyes.
“I really should fuck you.”
Kangwoo murmured with a hint of amusement.
Woo Heewoon felt defeated upon noticing the bulge in front of Kangwoo’s pants. Despite having resolved to do at least this to survive, his gaze kept drifting to his phone on the floor. What if the police come and find me naked? No, that’s not the important thing.
“Hey.”
Heewoon was startled and looked up. Kangwoo was looking down at him with an incredulous expression.
“You shouldn’t get distracted. You don’t have the basic manners.”
The hand that had been gently patting his back came up and lightly slapped his flushed cheek. With each touch of the hand, his doe eyes twitched and blinked.
“I-I’m sorry.”
“You said you followed me because you wanted to hook up with me. So you need to focus on fulfilling your wish, right?”
With one final snap, the hand was withdrawn.
“Ack!”
Heewoon screamed and tightly closed his eyes, afraid that the large hand would hit his cheek again.
Such a crybaby. Kangwoo clicked his tongue and bent over to pick up Heewoon’s phone.
“Are you expecting a message from someone?”
He nudged Heewoon’s elbow with the phone since it was locked with a pattern. Heewoon was startled and took a step back. His bare feet twisted, making his body stumble and wobble, before he fell backwards.
“Are you dancing?”
“N-no….”
Heewoon glanced at his phone in Kangwoo’s hand and staggered to his feet. The phone was immediately given to him.
“Check your phone.”
Heewoon’s face became pale. It was definitely a message from the police, but he didn’t know how Kangwoo would react to it.
“Who asked you to show it?”
“Ah….”
“Sunbae, you’re the stalker, not me.”
Kangwoo laughed as he looked at Heewoon nodding his head. Then he slowly scanned the pale body in front of him.
“Uh, oh….”
Heewoon made a silly sound after checking the message. This couldn’t be real. He checked his message list several times.
“Why? What is it?”
Kangwoo, who was pestering Heewoon’s body, suddenly leaned his head out.
“Loan? Do you need money, Sunbae?”

Woo Heewoon clenched the rough scrap of metal tightly in his pale hand.
It wasn’t a dispatch message from the police.
Did they not get dispatched because they didn’t have the address? Then they should have asked for the address. How could they ignore it when a person is dying like this?
His hope disappeared, shattering into a million pieces. Anger surged up through him, as if to fill the void. Woo Heewoon breathed heavily as he glared at the desperate loan advertisement.
“Did you think it was the police?”
The whisper in his ear sent shivers down his back. Heewoon turned his stiff neck around. Seo Kangwoo was chuckling beside him.
