Chapter 20: The Princes’ Dormitory

“Mo Ming wants to acknowledge the Destroyer as his master?! How is that even possible?!”

“Has Mo Ming gone mad?”

“Isn’t that Destroyer just a mere mortal? How can she become Mo Ming’s master?”

“Mo Ming only recognizes the strongest as his master. Xuan Yuanchen has been trying to recruit him, but he hasn’t agreed. Why would he choose this mortal?”

Mo Ming glanced at them, his eyes scanning the surroundings like a wolf. “Come up, I’ll take you to the King’s palace,” he commanded.

Considering the current situation, I also thought it was the best option, so I quickly climbed onto his back. He carried me in his hunched form, and with a leap, we landed on the roof. I looked back at everyone below, who were clearly shocked. I also wanted to know what was the deal with this Mo Ming beneath me.

Mo Ming swiftly led me away, effortlessly leaping onto higher rooftops, ascending floor by floor. To my surprise, a dormitory appeared before my eyes!

In front of the mansion lay a verdant lawn, a fountain, and a garden. Mo Ming landed on the grass, and I dismounted from his back, gazing in awe at the splendor before me. It appeared immaculate, so why would anyone need to clean it?

Beside me, Mo Ming assumed a human form. “From here on, you’re on your own. I can’t assist you.”

I shot him a disdainful glance. “I never intended to seek your help in the first place. Why do you act so arrogantly if you’re looking for a master?” I regarded him with confusion.

He looked at me and suddenly produced a large steamed bun from somewhere. What on earth! He didn’t even lend me money for breakfast, and now he’s eating in front of me! Have you no decency?!

He calmly took a small bite and then placed it in front of me, his emerald-green eyes fixed upon mine.

I glared at him angrily. “What are you doing? Flaunting that you have breakfast to eat? I couldn’t care less!”

“Gurgle~~~~” However, my stomach audibly growled, betraying its lack of integrity…

He continued to gaze at me and said, “I can’t eat anymore. Wasting food is strictly prohibited in the Immortal Realm.”

I was taken aback, and he took my hand, stuffing the steamed bun into it. Then he turned and leaped off the edge of the lawn. I stared blankly at the spot where he disappeared. What’s going on? Is he giving it to me to eat? Is he offering me his leftovers as a means to appease his conscience?!

I’m so angry! I’ll throw the bun!

I stood up and wiped my mouth, and there before me stood an exceptionally beautiful girl. She had fiery red, long, curly hair with two fox ears peeking out from the curls. The ears were adorned with large earrings, adding an extra touch of allure.

At first glance, it was evident that she was a fox spirit.

I had read about the beauty of fox spirits in various books, but seeing one today still took me by surprise. She was incredibly stunning! Words cannot fully describe her features, but when she stands before you, your heart becomes completely captivated by her, and you lose control.

She was also dressed in a form-fitting red dress, exuding an undeniable sensuality. ****That figure alone could make any man’s blood boil!

I stared at her in astonishment. “Are you here… to clean?”

“Hmph? It’s none of your business~~” She swayed and walked past me, her perky chest brushing against my face. “You rustic mortal, drinking water from the fountain. Pfft, hahaha~~~~”

So irritating! I really wanted to push her into the fountain, but given my current condition, it was impossible. I’ll just endure it.

I turned around, and suddenly a furry tail brushed against my face. “Pfft, pfft, pfft!!!”

“Hahaha~~~~” Her triumphant laughter echoed through the entire sky.

“You can change your clothes here, and all the necessary tools are available,” she glanced at the fox girl, who smirked and headed to the dressing room to fetch her clothes. Then, she turned her gaze towards me, smiling with a sparkle in her eyes. “I never expected it to be you. The house is quite clean, just needs a bit of organizing. Our main task is to clean the Student Union’s office.”

Nervously, I immediately asked, “Senior Baiying, I heard that the Sun God also resides here. I…”

Senior Baiying chuckled, “Don’t worry, vampires are not allowed to bite anyone in the academy, and the Sun God sleeps soundly during the day. You won’t be entering his room, will you?”

I shook my head immediately.

She nodded, still smiling. “There are signs on the doors, and our rooms are on the third floor. You’ll be cleaning the first and second floors, as well as the backyard.”

“Understood!” I nodded quickly. I wouldn’t dare go anywhere near the third floor where the Sun God resided! I should also strive for efficiency on the second floor.
