Chapter 47: Being Together with the Most Hated Person
“Hmph, does calling out help?” He leaned against the railing next to the staircase, his lazy and wicked words accompanied by a gesture of his hand sweeping across his black mask. Every movement seemed like he was facing a camera, always maintaining the utmost charm.
A bright red immortal sword stood beside him. With his dark gray long coat and his British-style red plaid scarf, he looked like a little prince from England. But it just made people itch with hate from the bottom of their hearts.
“Clap!” He snapped his fingers, and immediately, the immortal sword came towards us. Silver light flashed on Mo Ming’s body, and at the same time as he returned to human form, he swiftly held onto me and evaded the sword.
While we were dodging, a red light flashed in the corner of my eye, and suddenly, my hair was yanked.
“She is mine!” Fu Su’s playful voice came, as he grabbed my hair and pulled. Mo Ming quickly let go of my hand and tried to pull me back, as if afraid that my hair would be damaged by Fu Su’s pulling. I stumbled, being pulled away from Mo Ming’s side.
“Let her go!” Mo Ming glared at Fu Su angrily.
Fu Su, holding onto my hair, sneered contemptuously, “Mo Ming~~ Have you been infected by the loser virus from these losers you’ve been living with for too long? Why do you keep letting me…” Fu Su maliciously pulled my hair, “take her away from you?”
Mo Ming’s killing intent began to rise, his green eyes fixed on Fu Su’s hand gripping my hair. “Release my master! You’re hurting her!” Mo Ming became anxious, and a burst of cold air erupted from his entire body.
I painfully grabbed my scalp, damn scumbag!
“I’m sorry, she’s your master, not mine. I don’t care if she’s in pain. All I know is that it’s time for her to go and complete her mission.” Fu Su let go of my hair and pushed me towards the staircase.
“Snap!”
“Ah!”
As he pushed me hard, I heard him cry out in pain. I looked at him as I fell in front of the staircase, and he blew on his palm, then threw his black mask at me. Instantly, a wave of killing intent rushed towards me, “What are you wearing?!”
Suddenly, it hit me. I instantly regained my composure! I’m not afraid anymore! I’m wearing the Rose Armor! If he dares to touch me again, I’ll turn him into a hornet’s nest!
I raised my hands and stood tall, “Rose, Armor!”
Both Fu Su and Mo Ming were startled. Mo Ming subconsciously looked at his own hand, and a glimmer of joy flashed in his emerald eyes. I wondered what made him suddenly happy.
“Hasn’t the Rose Armor been lost?” Fu Su couldn’t believe it as he looked at me with his black mask. I raised my white mask in response, “The time has come, aren’t we supposed to go on a mission? I don’t want to waste time here with some divine scum.” I turned around, pressed the elevator button, the doors opened, and beneath my mask, I smirked, finally able to move my mouth. I no longer have to fear that divine scum Fu Su. I can turn him into charcoal in a matter of seconds!
Hmm… I wonder if even a doctor can restore him after he turns into charcoal? Hehehehe.
I stepped into the elevator and turned to look at Fu Su.
Fu Su’s black mask stared at me with a grim expression. He slowly put away his immortal sword, letting go of his hand that I had injured. Step by step, he approached me, emitting a chilling aura, surrounded by a murderous intent. He didn’t say a word, just keeping his mask directed at me until he reached my side. Then, he withdrew his cold gaze and reached out to press the elevator button.
I waved to Mo Ming, and as he snapped out of his daze, he immediately ran towards me. The elevator doors closed between me and him, and the elevator began to descend. He leaned against the transparent elevator door, watching me leave once again, until he disappeared from my sight.
“Tch, disgusting,” Fu Su said disdainfully next to me, his voice filled with a strange tone, “Just a master and servant, making it seem like lovers.”
“Hmph, I think you’re just jealous~~~” I couldn’t be bothered to look at him. He’s still sulking from being stabbed by me.
“Jealous? Ha!” He laughed and reached out to poke my head, “I, the mighty Fu Su, jealous?!”
I furrowed my brows and opened my arms, lunging at him. Instantly, his red immortal sword flashed before me, and behind it was Fu Su’s black, gloomy mask, “What do you think you’re doing?!”
I still had my arms wide open, and I fiercely confronted him with my white mask, “If you dare to touch me again, I’ll hug you!”
The eyes behind the holes in his mask narrowed, and he withdrew his hand, leaning against the side of the elevator with a chilling aura. His red, pulsating immortal sword remained by his side, as if it grew two eyes that were vigilantly staring at me, ready to defend its master if I were to bully him!
Bullying!
This word is truly perfect.
“Hmm hmm hmm hmm, it’s finally my turn to tease Fu Su,” I thought to myself, unable to hide a smirk on my face, completely ignoring the chill in the air.
“Ding.” The elevator stopped, and when it opened, I was greeted by a bustling shopping mall, filled with music that broke the previous silence of the elevator!
I was taken aback. People waiting for the elevator had already rushed in. I saw Fu Su had already walked out, so I hurriedly squeezed my way out too. I turned around to see the elevator doors closing, the elevator now transformed into a transparent scenic elevator within the mall, swiftly ascending to the upper floors.
I ran to the railing beside the elevator and looked down. This was indeed a large, multi-purpose shopping and entertainment plaza. When I looked up, I saw a huge advertisement featuring the National Husband! It clearly read: “Welcome National Day, Wanda pays the bill!”
Wanda, Wanda Plaza!
Huh? Huh ——–
It’s already National Day! How did time fly by so quickly!!!
The Immortal Realm doesn’t even have holidays!!!
“Let’s go, what are you staring at? Don’t waste time.” Ever since I stabbed him, the bad-tempered young master Fu Su has been acting like he’s going through menopause, thoroughly unhappy.
I touched my mask. Would it look strange to others?
“Hmph, the mask becomes transparent in the mortal realm.”
“What?!” I exclaimed, covering my face in shock. So, I’ll scare people away like this?
“Pfft.” Fu Su chuckled. Every time he laughs, I let go of my hands. He must be playing a trick on me.
I turned around and faced the glass of a bubble tea shop, and then, I saw myself, with a perfectly intact face, reflected in the glass!
Although the mask still covered my face, I could truly feel it, but on the glass, it clearly displayed my real face.
I instantly felt relieved.
Then, I noticed that Fu Su was nowhere to be seen on the glass.
I looked at Fu Su in confusion, then back at the glass, indeed, he was not there, nor was his immortal sword.
“What are you looking at?” Fu Su glared at me, not in a good mood. “The Observer is an observer. One, others can’t see me.” He raised a finger. “Two, I’m only responsible for observation, I won’t help you…”
Tch, who asked for your help? It’s already good enough if your bad temper doesn’t harm me.
“Three, I’m also responsible for evaluation,” he smirked slyly. “If you want to get credits~~~” He leaned towards me. “Beg me and I might consider it~~~”
“Get lost!” I gave him a disdainful look and walked away, ignoring his murderous aura.
Since there’s a coffee and bubble tea shop right in front of me, I’ll go buy a cup of bubble tea first. Luckily, I brought some Chinese yuan with me.
“May I ask what you would like?”
“A cup of Toffee, please.”
“And another cup of French Rich, please,” someone next to me said.
I pretended not to hear and looked elsewhere. Oh, it’s been so long since I had milk tea, even in the immortal realm, I couldn’t bear to spend money on it~~
“I said I want a cup of French Rich!” the person next to me erupted in anger.
Still ignoring him, after all, he said that no one could see him.
“Here’s your Toffee.”
“Thank you.” I took the milk tea and leisurely walked past Fu Su, who was full of murderous intent. “Just keep being your invisible self.” I casually enjoyed my milk tea.
“Die!” I was forcefully pushed from behind, causing me to stumble forward. “Pfft!” The milk tea I had in my mouth sprayed back into the cup. The people around me gave me a strange look and continued on their way.
Fu Su floated past me nonchalantly, taking my milk tea from my hand as he passed by.
Sigh! It’s as if the milk tea disappeared along with him, vanishing from the normal world. Fu Su elegantly took out a wet wipe and wiped the cup clean, then wiped his hands, his gaze mischievous as he watched me insert the straw into the small hole on the mask’s mouth. “Let’s go~~ Why waste any more time?”
I glared at him fiercely and walked away. The rose armor only protected my body, it had too many flaws. It should have protected my entire being, not letting Fu Su touch a single hair on my head!
My big sister Yejiajie entrusted me with this task. The ladder placed us near her parents’ residence.
According to the information provided on my phone, she has been dead for six years.
Her parents currently live in a deluxe apartment in Wanda.
Fu Su floated by my side like a wisp of ghost, leisurely sipping my milk tea. I stood in front of the apartment building and pressed the doorbell for 1701.
A screen displayed an old man’s face. “Who are you looking for?”
I was about to speak, but Fu Su, holding the straw in his mouth, said, “You can’t let mortals know anything about the immortal realm.”
I furrowed my eyebrows. Why is it so troublesome!
“I won’t help you get in. Figure it out yourself~~” he added mischievously, as if he was eagerly waiting to see what I would do.
“Who are you looking for?” the old man asked again.
I could only look at her apologetically and said, “I’m sorry, uncle, I forgot to bring my access card. I pressed several units but no one answered. Could you help me open the door?”
The old uncle nodded kindly, “Alright, just don’t forget next time.”
“Thank you, uncle!”
*Click.* The door opened.
I raised an eyebrow at Fu Su, and he arrogantly shrugged his face, “Humans are only good at lying!”
“Tch, if you’re so capable, why don’t you enter without using any immortal techniques? I bet you wouldn’t survive in our human world without them! Hmph!”
Fu Su snorted disdainfully and walked straight through the glass door.
Really, being a god is so great, huh! Hmph!
We entered the elevator together, going up to the seventeenth floor. I glanced at him and calmly said, “I’ve already had milk tea.”
Fu Su continued sipping, ignoring me.
I continued, “When you pushed me earlier, some of the milk tea sprayed back.”
*Cough cough cough…* Fu Su started coughing, and milk tea sprayed out of his mouth.
The elevator stopped, and I added one more remark, “There’s my saliva inside.”
“Xia Xiaolan!” He gritted his teeth and called out my name. I stepped out of the elevator and stood in front of the door of 1701. Taking a deep breath, I exhaled slowly, then knocked on the door.
