Chapter 54: Calling for Reinforcements

The silver light gradually dissipated, and Mo Ming’s silver hair came into view. His emerald eyes glanced at me from a distance, and as his wolf ears perked up, he extended his fists towards the two massive monsters and struck them!

“Bang!” Two balls of silver light hit the monsters, sending them flying and landing in front of me. I immediately stepped back, and they stood up again, turning around. Mo Ming had already landed in front of me, his casual shirt untouched by even a speck of dust.

I captured the scene of the crack on my phone, and suddenly, another identical monster slowly emerged from the cracked space, its pus-filled eyes fixed on me.

Suddenly, a beam of red light with flames swept down from above and sliced through the monster in front of me, carrying with it a scorching heat that brushed past me. I stared dumbfounded as Fu Su’s disheveled figure emerged from behind the fallen monster.

My gaze fixated on his body, covered in numerous wounds, unable to look away.

His mask had been shattered by some force, revealing his partially healed face, bloodied eyes, and the corners of his mouth. His clothes were torn and bloodstained, showing signs of damage everywhere.

I stood behind Fu Su, smiling foolishly as I watched the black-clothed boy in front of Fu Su. “You and Fu Su’s masks are like a couple’s set!”

“Cough!” The black-clothed boy immediately gasped after my words. Flames instantly ignited on Fu Su’s immortal sword, causing the black-clothed boy’s gloves to catch fire. He quickly stepped back and swiftly swung his arm to the right. The black gloves turned to ashes in the flames, flickering like scattered red fireflies in the air, revealing a slender and clean hand.

He took on a humanoid form!

However, his strength was clearly superior to Fu Su’s, as his clothes remained intact without any signs of damage.

The black-clothed boy stood coldly and menacingly in mid-air, with the crack in the space behind him. He slowly removed the black glove from his other hand, and immediately, a dark blue flame ignited on his left hand.

But the black-clothed boy ignored him and looked at me. The gaze behind his mask seemed calm, as if he had no intention of killing me.

I looked at the gaze behind his mask directed at me and gently placed my hand on Fu Su’s shoulder. “Fu Su, calm down. You’re already injured like this, can we call for backup?”

Fu Su turned his head and gave me a fierce glare. “Go to hell! Get lost and stop getting in the way!” After saying that, he swung his sword towards the black-clothed boy.

That’s just how he is, so competitive. He truly believes he’s the protagonist of some anime and won’t die no matter how much he fights.
