Xu Zhi felt that Zhou Mu was very accepting of his new identity and very adaptable. Xu Zhi once wondered whether he had had similar experiences.
But Xu Zhi felt very satisfied when Zhou Mu kissed him, so he thought there was no need to think so much.
They kissed for a while, and Zhou Mu brought Xu Zhi the oatmeal porridge he often made recently.
Xu Zhi took the bowl and stirred the porridge bowl with the spoon.
“Don’t you want to eat it?” Zhou Mu asked, “Does it taste bad?”
Xu Zhi lowered his head and took a look. What was in the bowl was the oatmeal porridge that Zhou Mu had been making recently. The porridge was cooked at a high temperature and was thick and soft.
“It tastes good,” Xu Zhi scooped a spoonful of porridge into his mouth. After eating, he thought about it and said, “It’s really better than the one downstairs.”
“Really,” Zhou Mu’s Adam’s apple twitched, and he gently said to Xu Zhi, “If it tastes good, eat more.”
Xu Zhi nodded and finished the porridge quickly.
After Zhou Mu watched him finish the porridge, he took the empty bowl to the kitchen to clean up. He did not close the bedroom door. Xu Zhi listened to the sound of water coming from the kitchen and felt very safe.
He reached for his phone, intending to record a message, but to his surprise, he noticed a missed call from his mother.
He rarely talks to his family on the phone. His father is very busy at work, and his mother told him frankly that talking to him on the phone would be stressful.
So even though he lives in the same city, Xu Zhi hasn’t seen his family for a long time.
Xu Zhi was stunned for a moment, checked the time, and not much time passed. He then called his mother back.
“Xu Zhi,” Liang Yaqing asked him on the other end of the phone, “Are you busy recently?”
Thinking of his unemployment status, Xu Zhi answered honestly, “It’s okay, not too busy.”
“How is your health?” Liang Yaqing asked again.
Liang Yaqing’s voice was steady, and it was unclear whether she was probing or genuinely concerned. But Xu Zhi just knew what she was asking.
For a moment, he wanted to be frank, admitting that his mental state was not good, to see if Liang Yaqing would say anything beyond wishing him a good rest.
But when the last words came to his lips, he still said softly, “It’s okay.”
There is no point in being angry. It will only make people think that he is hopeless. He has known it for a long time.
“It’s your brother’s birthday tomorrow,” Liang Yaqing seemed relieved, “If you’re not busy, come home.”
There may be a birthday party being planned for his brother over there; it sounds very lively.
Xu Zhi paused, turned his head, glanced at the small numbers on the top line of the digital clock showing the date, and remembered that tomorrow was indeed his brother’s ninth birthday.
He was silent for a few seconds and then said, “I will be there on time.”
Liang Yaqing was very busy. After receiving Xu Zhi’s affirmative answer, she stopped talking to him and hung up the phone quickly.
The busy signal on the phone was so sudden that Xu Zhi didn’t react for a long time.
As soon as Zhou Mu entered the door, he saw Xu Zhi sitting blankly on the bed, one hand loosely placed on his leg and the other hand holding up his phone, as if listening to a call.
Zhou Mu half-crouched in front of Xu Zhi and reached out to touch Xu Zhi’s hanging hand.
Xu Zhi raised his eyes to look at Zhou Mu and took down the hand holding the phone as if he had just reacted.
The phone is dark, which means the call may have been hung up early.
“What’s wrong?” Zhou Mu asked.
“My mom’s call,” Xu Zhi answered a bit slowly after a few seconds, “My younger brother’s birthday is tomorrow, and she wants me to come back.”
“Don’t you want to go?” Zhou Mu asked.
“No,” Xu Zhi shook his head, “I don’t mind going; I don’t dislike my younger brother.”
Zhou Mu seemed to be able to empathize with Xu Zhi. He still half-crouched in front of Xu Zhi, took out Xu Zhi’s phone with one hand and put it on the bedside table, held his fingers with the other hand, and asked him, “Do you want me to accompany you?”
“Will you accompany me?” Xu Zhi thought for a while and said, “Forget it.”
Liang Yaqing is a very conservative lady. She has always been worried about the fact that her eldest son is mentally ill. If she knew that her son was a homosexual who could not be publicized, she would probably go crazy.
“Then I’ll wait for you at home.” Zhou Mu didn’t insist. He bent his eyes in a small arc, which made Xu Zhi dizzy.
“I won’t be home at all tomorrow,” Xu Zhi thought, as his parents’ house was in a distant vacation area, taking three to four hours round trip. He felt it was better to inform Zhou Mu.
“Okay,” Zhou Mu nodded, “I’ll pick you up then.”
The way he said this made Xu Zhi feel like he couldn’t leave him for even a second.
“Let’s talk about it later, then.” Xu Zhi turned his head uncomfortably, his ears feeling a little flushed.
Although he didn’t look at Zhou Mu, Xu Zhi could still feel that Zhou Mu was looking at him intently.
The weather isn’t great today, and it seems to be raining outside at the moment. Even though the windows are closed, Xu Zhi still feels a strong dampness enveloping them.
Zhou Mu had just turned off the ceiling light in the bedroom, leaving only a warm light. Xu Zhi was sitting on the bed with his head bowed. Zhou Mu was squatting in front of him at a very close distance, holding his hand.
Xu Zhi suddenly felt that this was a good night.
“I’ll head out,” Xu Zhi casually says, looking around, “What are you going to do at home?”
“Hmm,” Zhou Mu thought for a while and answered seriously, “Maybe some cleaning.”
Before Xu Zhi could ask, Zhou Mu added, “After all, I owe Master Xu so much money.”
Xu Zhi was a little embarrassed by what he said, but he still asked Zhou Mu, “How many yuan are you going to pay back tomorrow?”
When he asked this question, it was just a way to break the silence, but after asking, he felt that it might not have been appropriate.
This sentence, no matter how you listen to it, sounds like a subtle and discreet probe that can’t be discussed openly.
Although Xu Zhi didn’t mean this at first, after he said it, he still felt that this was what he was thinking.
“I don’t know,” Zhou Mu shook his head and replied, “I’ll wait until you come back to check and accept the amount you give me. I don’t dare to make the decision myself.”
“Oh,” Xu Zhi said.
His voice was very soft, and he felt a bit awkward because it seemed like his discreet inquiry went unnoticed by Zhou Mu.
Zhou Mu stood up at this moment, raised his hand to put on the back of Xu Zhi’s neck, and slowly pressed on it.
Xu Zhi’s heart beat very fast. He gently placed his hand on Zhou Mu’s chest and lay down on the bed obediently.
Zhou Mu’s body was very hot, and he was very tall. When he pressed on Xu Zhi, Xu Zhi felt that every inch of his body was occupied by Zhou Mu, but he liked it very much.
He pressed his forehead against Zhou Mu’s, obviously in a prepared posture, but Xu Zhi still asked knowingly, “Zhou Mu, what are you doing?”
Zhou Mu did not answer.
He was breathing a little heavily, and his breath hit the side of Xu Zhi’s face, making Xu Zhi’s whole body feel sore.
Xu Zhi turned his head to avoid Zhou Mu’s hot breath and got himself some breathing space.
Zhou Mu followed him closely and turned his head, still kissing the corner of his mouth gently.
Xu Zhi was very nervous, but at the same time, he felt that it was not enough. He removed his hand from Zhou Mu’s chest, hung it on Zhou Mu’s shoulder, and pressed against him with very little force.
Zhou Mu seemed to have no strength to resist at all, so Xu Zhi hooked his shoulders and moved closer to him.
Xu Zhi raised his chin slightly, and their lips brushed against each other. Xu Zhi pulled Zhou Mu downward again, ensuring that his lips were pressed against Zhou Mu’s.
Zhou Mu did not kiss Xu Zhi as deeply as before. He still put one hand on the back of Xu Zhi’s neck and rubbed it, while the other hand reached down to untie the belt around Xu Zhi’s waist.
The temperature of the air conditioner in the bedroom is very low, but Zhou Mu’s body is very hot, and the two of them are very close to each other, so even though Xu Zhi wasn’t wearing much, he didn’t feel cold.
Zhou Mu’s hands were very hot, and they gently slid from Xu Zhi’s chest to the back of his waist and then continued to reach down.
Xu Zhi’s skin was very smooth. In contrast, Zhou Mu’s fingertips looked a little rough, but both of them felt that this was just right.
Zhou Mu raised his body slightly and moved the hand on the back of Xu Zhi’s neck down to his shoulder. With some strength, Xu Zhi took off his robes cooperatively.
Zhou Mu leaned down and kissed Xu Zhi’s collarbone, chest, and abdomen again. When he was about to go down, Xu Zhi grabbed his hair very lightly.
“It tickles,” Xu Zhi said.
Zhou Mu laughed softly, hot air spraying on Xu Zhi’s hips, “Do you want more?”
Xu Zhi didn’t say whether he wanted it or not. His fingers were hidden in Zhou Mu’s short hair, and he rubbed on it, “Take off your clothes.”
Xu Zhi was naked, but Zhou Mu’s robes were still very neat, so Zhou Mu grabbed Xu Zhi’s hand and put it on the belt, “Here you go.”
The bed served as the battlefield to receive the surplus equipment.
Xu Zhi pulled down Zhou Mu’s sleeping robe and used his foot to push it aside.
Zhou Mu, like a general pursuing a fleeing enemy, wandered near the enemy’s established defense lines, hesitating and probing. With an air of determination, he arrived at Xu Zhi’s kingdom but stopped just in time.
“What scented ones do you want to use?” Zhou Mu asked.
Xu Zhi blushed, reached out, and took a box randomly from the bedside table drawer, “Hurry up.”
Zhou Mu didn’t listen to him. He slowly ripped off the package and asked Xu Zhi to help him put it on. Then he led his troops back to Xu Zhi.
Didn’t go in.
Xu Zhi was a little impatient. He led Zhou Mu and pestered Zhou Mu, but Zhou Mu seemed to have his own rules when marching and fighting.
While he pecked the corner of Xu Zhi’s mouth, he leisurely inspected Xu Zhi’s territory. He asked Xu Zhi, “Providing services to Xu Zhi, is there a salary for that?”
“Yes.” Xu Zhi half-closed his eyes, his voice a little muffled.
Zhou Mu set up his camp within the border of Xu Zhi and stopped again as he went deep into the territory.
Then he asked Xu Zhi, in a tone full of deception, “Is this okay?”
After some thought, Xu Zhi couldn’t find a reason to refuse, so he said, “I’ll pay you extra.”
General Zhou Mu won a great victory, and Xu Zhi, who was defeated, had to let him invade his own territory. One of them went on a rampage, and the other opened the city to meet the enemy.
The two of them had the same scent of shea butter, and in Zhou Mu’s unknown collision, there was a faint scent of peach, which spread throughout the room in a short while.
Xu Zhi thought in a daze that no matter what others did, as long as Zhou Mu was willing to like Xu Zhi, Xu Zhi would be satisfied.
