HD Chapter 27

Buy one get one free

The day after Zhou Mu became Xu Zhi’s boyfriend, he moved to Xu Zhi’s residence.

He only brought a few pieces of clothing and asked Xu Zhi to accompany him downstairs to buy the rest.

When the two of them bought something and were about to check out, Xu Zhi stood in front of the condom counter and refused to leave.

In this regard, Xu Zhi is quite open-minded and naturally considers Zhou Mu as his boyfriend, believing that both his body and heart should belong to him.

Xu Zhi stood silently in front of the counter, neither speaking nor leaving, his expression stubborn.

Xu Zhi has always been a person of strong initiative; once he decides on something, he goes for it. So, Zhou Mu had no choice but to push the cart and let him load it up.

“Is it really necessary?” Zhou Mu joked with Xu Zhi in a somewhat unserious manner.

Xu Zhi didn’t say whether he needed it or not. He said, “Limited time event; buy one get one free.”

So Zhou Mu paid for the two boxes of peach-flavored condoms, and they opened them that night.

Because Xu Zhi had to go to school the next day, Zhou Mu didn’t want to be too excessive, but later Xu Zhi enjoyed it and kept clinging to Zhou Mu, not letting him leave.

“Brother Zhou,” Xu Zhi’s ankle was grabbed by Zhou Mu; his joints were red, “It’s not enough.”

Zhou Mu lowered his body and asked him, “What’s enough?”

Xu Zhi raised his head to kiss him and said objectively and rationally, “Nothing is enough.”

Because Xu Zhi wanted it very much, even though it was the first time, they didn’t hold back. However, it wasn’t a lot; Xu Zhi sat at the top once and at the bottom twice.

Xu Zhi is good at scolding people. When it hurts, he scolds; when it’s intense, he scolds. If it’s light, he scolds while getting closer. But the most frequently spoken words are still, “Senior, I really like you.”

Although it was not long after, Xu Zhi forgot that Zhou Mu was his senior.

More than a month after Zhou Mu moved into Xu Zhi’s house, Xu Zhi woke up one morning and suddenly didn’t know who Zhou Mu was.

“I am Zhou Mu,” Zhou Mu repeated patiently.

“Who you are is none of my business!” Xu Zhi huddled in the corner of the bed ruthlessly, shouting for Zhou Mu to stay away from him and loudly asking why Zhou Mu was at his home.

Zhou Mu explained to him carefully, “I am your boyfriend.”

Xu Zhi did not answer his words and looked at Zhou Mu without blinking, with no other expression except fear.

Zhou Mu’s breath hitched sharply, as if someone had poured a bucket of cold water over his head, freezing his heartbeat.

The atmosphere in the bedroom was very tense. The two of them had been arguing very late yesterday. Xu Zhi had no time to put on a pair of pajamas before going to bed. At this time, his snow-white skin was exposed. He was afraid and cold, and he had begun to shiver inconspicuously.

Zhou Mu’s Adam’s apple twitched, and he said in a very soft voice, “I won’t go over, so you get dressed first.”

Xu Zhi was still staring at Zhou Mu warily, and it took him a long time to put on his pajamas in a panic.

Zhou Mu also put on a robe when he was getting dressed and thought about how to deal with this situation.

Xu Zhi was emotionally unstable. When he saw Zhou Mu put on his robe, he subconsciously looked around the room. When he found that the room was full of Zhou Mu’s personal belongings, he completely collapsed.

“I knew it,” Xu Zhi’s eyes were red. He didn’t know whether he was angry or scared, “I felt something was wrong a few days ago. You have been following me for many days, haven’t you?”

When the two were walking a few days ago, Xu Zhi kept saying that someone seemed to be following them. When Zhou Mu went to check, he found that it was just an old couple who lived in the same building as them.

Thinking about it carefully, maybe there were signs of Xu Zhi’s relapse a few days ago.

It is said that Xu Zhi’s imagination is very rich, almost magical.

He remembered the incident a few days ago where he suspected someone was following him. Initially, it was not reliable information, but when Zhou Mu appeared in the room, Xu Zhi smoothly created a scenario that had never actually happened.

The person following him was Zhou Mu. After stalking the place for a few days, he secretly moved in while Xu Zhi was sleeping and did something inappropriate to Xu Zhi.

“Xu Zhi,” Zhou Mu’s voice was tight, trying to explain to him, “I…”

“You even know my name!” Xu Zhi was so frightened that he jumped up.

His phone was placed on the bedside table near Zhou Mu, so he could only stare at him and move quietly, trying to get the phone to call the police while Zhou Mu was not paying attention.

Zhou Mu had been paying attention to his movements. Seeing his pitiful look, he couldn’t help but pick up the phone and hand it to him.

Xu Zhi stared with round eyes and grabbed the phone but hesitated before calling the police.

If he calls the police now, the other party may get angry, and then he will be in danger.

“If you leave now,” Xu Zhi sniffed, “I can let you go.”

“I won’t leave,” Zhou Mu said.

Xu Zhi blinked, and a mist of tears was about to overflow in his eyes. He gripped his phone, choked up, and said, “Why?”

He moved into his house while he was sleeping and probably took advantage of him. Now he was so shameless that he refused to leave.

Zhou Mu’s expressionless look was actually scary, but he really couldn’t make any other vivid expressions at this time.

Xu Zhi did not expect this situation.

“Xu Zhi,” Zhou Mu raised his finger and pointed at his phone, “call Wen Shuyao.”

Xu Zhi was stunned for a moment while holding the phone. He stopped crying for a moment and asked Zhou Mu with wet eyes, “What?”

“I can’t explain,” Zhou Mu said with a deep sense of self-blame. “Is it fine to call Shuyao?”

If Xu Zhi was frightened before this, then he was completely sluggish after that.

Zhou Mu called him several times, but he didn’t respond.

Zhou Mu thought, he said the wrong thing.

Wen Shuyao happened to be on vacation, and he arrived at Xu Zhi’s house more than an hour later. In order to prevent further irritation to Xu Zhi, Zhou Mu moved his things back to the residence where he lived before Wen Shuyao arrived.

Xu Zhi did not contact him during this period.

This winter was very cold, and the temperature reached the lowest in the city this year. A week after he moved back to his place, there was a knock on the door.

Zhou Mu walked over and opened the door, and he saw Xu Zhi, wearing only a thin coat, standing awkwardly at the door of his house, looking up at him, his eyes a little red.

It also snowed a lot that day; the snow on Xu Zhi’s hair melted away, and it stuck to his forehead with some moisture.

Zhou Mu led him into the residence, gave him his slippers to change into, and went to the bathroom to get a towel for him to dry his hair.

It seems like he didn’t hear Zhou Mu’s words. He sat blankly on the sofa, holding the towel, and stared at Zhou Mu without saying anything.

Zhou Mu looked at him for a while, then went to get a glass of hot water.

Xu Zhi hurriedly put down the towel and took the water, holding it in his hand without daring to drink it.

Zhou Mu couldn’t confirm Xu Zhi’s current state, so he didn’t dare to say anything and just looked at him silently.

“Senior.” Xu Zhi called Zhou Mu in a low voice.

But the moment he spoke, his voice was choked with sobs.

He put the water on the coffee table and sat upright, his eyes lowered and not looking at Zhou Mu, but his hands rubbed nervously and inconspicuously on the sofa.

Zhou Mu walked over and hugged him, rubbed his head with his hands, and coaxed him in a non-technical way, “Don’t cry.”

Xu Zhi’s breathing was rapid, and his tears were all stained on Zhou Mu’s home clothes. He grabbed the corners of Zhou Mu’s clothes and pulled them towards him, “Senior, do you still want me?”

Zhou Mu put his hand on the back of Xu Zhi’s neck, rubbed it, and sighed half-seriously, “I finally caught you; it would be a shame to let you go.”

So Xu Zhi cried even harder.

Zhou Mu patiently comforted him until Xu Zhi gradually calmed down. Then he spoke again, “You can tell me, how do you want to make it up to me.”

Xu Zhi nestled in Zhou Mu’s neck and rubbed it, saying jokingly, “This time, I followed you and came to your doorstep, so I’m here to seize the opportunity to snatch a hug.”

So Zhou Mu once again took Xu Zhi to his bedroom on the big bed where they slept when they first got together.

That day, Zhou Mu was very fierce, but Xu Zhi didn’t cry again. His attitude remained poor, and his condition was similar to when before he relapsed.

However, while being entangled by Zhou Mu, he said something slightly different from usual.

He told Zhou Mu, “If one day you want to break up, I won’t be sad, so don’t be embarrassed to say it when the time comes.”

Zhou Mu didn’t say he wanted to leave, nor did he say he wouldn’t leave, but he led Xu Zhi’s hand to his left chest.

The heart underneath was beating very fast. Xu Zhi shrank his hand back, but Zhou Mu tightened his grip again.

Zhou Mu said, “This has nothing to do with being embarrassed or ashamed. I can only like you or dislike you, but it’s impossible to not like you.”

Xu Zhi said, “But no matter how much you like me, I still won’t remember it.”

“It doesn’t matter if you don’t remember, because it’s not like both of us forgot. Of course, I don’t remember every day or everything, but I know the route from home to the entrance of the residential community, where there are few streetlights. I also remember what’s in the second drawer of the bedside table because we did these things together.”

“I’m not very creative. Ever since I was little, all I’ve said to introduce myself is ‘I’m Zhou Mu’. But fortunately, I have pretty good mental qualities, so it doesn’t matter if you can’t always remember it, because I will always say it. After all, I still have such a long time to spend with you.”

The snow was getting heavier and heavier outside, and Zhou Mu never closed the curtains when having sex with Xu Zhi in his room.

Zhou Mu said, “If you hadn’t come down to walk with me that day, I would have waited indefinitely, because weather forecasts may not always be accurate, but if there’s wind, my wait wouldn’t have been in vain.”

“But I feel like there will be wind every summer from now on.”
