RSK Chapter 15

“…”

Is Wen Xu an idiot?

This doesn’t match his cool and aloof persona at all. If what he said didn’t line up, I’d start doubting whether the guy I’m chatting with is actually him.

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: You don’t want to practice with anyone else, and he won’t practice with you. So, how do you plan to improve your kissing skills?

[g5d6o4gpu1]: I’ll find a chance to kiss him secretly, it’s not the first time anyway.

Damn, how can this guy talk so righteously about stealing a kiss? Absolutely shameless!

I need to nip this idea in the bud quickly.

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: Your thinking is obviously flawed!

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: From a professional standpoint, winning someone over isn’t just about kissing skills.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: So, what should I do now?

[g5d6o4gpu1]: He seems to be avoiding me. He just ran out while I was washing my hands. I really want to tie him back here.

Tie your uncle, why does this queer always think about tying people up?

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: Why are you having these extreme thoughts again? I noticed you haven’t been updating your page with those messy posts lately. I thought you’d improved after reading some books.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: I’ve been in contact with him more recently, and it really has gotten a bit better.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: But thinking about him avoiding me makes me really upset, and when I’m upset, I just want to tie him up and tickle him until he cries.

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: So you mean, as long as you have more contact with him, you won’t have these extreme ideas, right?

I put down my phone and stared at the computer screen, thinking.

Since Wen Xu suddenly said he wanted to confess to me, I let him gradually get to know me, hoping to reveal my flaws and turn him off. But after what happened yesterday, I ended up wanting to avoid him.

It seems avoiding him isn’t working; it might backfire and be too late if one day Wen Xu can’t hold back.

After much thought, I replied this way:

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: I think you’re overthinking it. He’s probably not avoiding you.

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: Wait for him to return to the dorm, then find a chance to talk to him and see if he avoids you.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: Okay, I’ll listen to the doctor.

Wen Xu has one excellent quality: he really listens to the doctor, which gives me, the “senior psychologist,” a strangely satisfying sense of pride.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: By the way, doctor, do you think he would agree if I asked him to a movie?

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: What movie?

[A City First Hospital Senior Psychologist]: Oh, I mean, if you pick a movie he likes, he should agree.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: Got it, I understand.

[g5d6o4gpu1]: Thank you, doctor.

Just as I finished chatting with Wen Xu, I received a WeChat message from Duan Linze.

[Duan Linze]: You didn’t even guess; I’m so disappointed.

[Duan Linze]: I won’t keep you in suspense. It’s Wen Xu, surprised?

No, not surprised at all.

But I still acted shocked and replied.

Ning Ran: What? How could it be him! What did he say?

[Duan Linze]: Ranran, you’re so cute.

[Duan Linze]: That’s what he said.

Ning Ran: Could it be possible that the ‘ranran’ he mentioned is someone else?

Time to play dumb.

[Duan Linze]: I thought so initially because Wen Xu seems indifferent about everything.

[Duan Linze]: But last night, besides calling you ‘ranran,’ he also clearly called you ‘Ning Ran.’ That’s not just any other ‘ranran,’ you know.

Damn, Wen Xu usually says so little; he saves it all for sleep talking?

Ning Ran: Sleep talking probably doesn’t mean anything; no worries.

If it were before, I’d have been scared to death hearing Wen Xu talk like this in his sleep, but I’ve already been scared once. Now, I just hope Duan Linze doesn’t spread it around and we can quickly turn the page.

[Duan Linze]: If you think it’s fine, then it’s okay. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone else. I just thought you should know since you’re involved.

Ning Ran: Okay, thanks, dorm leader.

I didn’t leave the library until about 4:30 PM. When I returned to the dorm, except for Qi Yiming, everyone else was there.

After greeting them, I settled in at my spot. Sure enough, Wen Xu came over to ask where I had been all afternoon. I honestly told him I went to the library, and the conversation went smoothly and naturally, so he should believe I wasn’t avoiding him.

After putting my things down, I went to the balcony to collect my laundry, preparing to shower. But looking around the balcony for a while, I noticed one of my underwear was missing again!

Damn, did Wen Xu take it again?

He did have plenty of opportunities this afternoon. Thinking about it made me angry. Why can’t he just talk to me instead of always stealing my underwear? Does he want to see me without any underwear at all?!

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. So, I walked up to Wen Xu and said loudly, “Wen Xu! Did you take my underwear by mistake again?”

At this, Duan Linze and Gu Yang both turned to look our way. But I couldn’t care less; today I was determined to cure Wen Xu of his underwear-stealing habit!

Wen Xu was briefly stunned, just as he was about to speak, someone suddenly shouted my name from downstairs.

So, I walked to the balcony and looked down. I saw Qi Yiming standing below, holding up a very familiar pair of white underwear with a star pattern on the back, yelling, “Hey! Ning Ran, is this your underwear?”

His voice was loud enough to attract a crowd of onlookers.

“…”

Damn, can I pretend I don’t know this guy?
