IPDAOLR Chapter 21.1

IPDAOLR Chapter 21.1

Jiang Zhihuo kicked with great force, but Feng Zhi, being an alpha, still had good physical strength, even in his middle age, he was still able to stand up. Just as Jiang Zhihuo was about to throw another kick, a hand reached out from the side and stopped him.

Yan Mu, wearing a pheromone-blocking mask, and carrying the bag Jiang Zhihuo tossed to him on a shoulder, unexpectedly appeared at the scene.

“How did you get in?!” Jiang Zhihuo, “Didn’t I tell you to wait outside?”

Yan Mu took out a pair of gloves from the bag and put them on, pulling the edges to adjust them. Then, with a swift move, he punched Feng Zhi, who had just gotten up, right on the bridge of his nose. Covering the other party’s mouth, Yan Mu dragged him deeper into the alley, his voice was low and firm. “Take care of that side first.”

The pheromones in the alley were thick, but Yan Mu didn’t seem to be affected much. Jiang Zhihuo, unable to spare attention to worry about Yan Mu for the moment, could only say, “Drag him farther away as both of you stay back!”

The only person that wasn’t affected by the pheromones was Jiang Zhihuo. He helped the unconscious Tang Anmiao and pulled out the inhibitor from his pocket.

Fortunately, there were usually omegas in the bar, so to be safe, each staff member carried inhibitors with them.

Jiang Zhihuo bit open the lid, found the right position, and gradually injected the inhibitors into the omega’s gland.

As the valve was locked to the bottom, the pheromones finally stopped leaking, and Tang Anmiao’s condition improved significantly, with the consciousness gradually returning.

Opening her eyes, Tang Anmiao saw Jiang Zhihuo. Her whole body trembled, and she used all her strength to try to push him away in panic. “You…you…alpha…”

Jiang Zhihuo spat the lid aside and pulled down his collar, revealing the bite mark on the back of his neck. “I’m an omega too, so don’t move.”

Tang Anmiao suddenly fell silent, as if unsure where to start processing. Her eyes widened slightly, staring at the bite mark. “You’re an omega?!”

”I guess so.” Jiang Zhihuo replied, pulling out the syringe and continuing, “Feng Zhi has been controlled by Yan Mu. Just wait a bit longer until the inhibitor takes effect.”

The estrus took a lot of omega’s physical strength. After resting in a place for nearly thirty minutes, Tang Anmiao finally had the energy to stand up again.

”Are you okay?” Jiang Zhihuo asked.

Tang Anmiao leaned against the wall. “I-I’m fine.”

“Alright.”

Jiang Zhihuo took out his phone and sent Yan Mu a message, asking where he was. After a moment of hesitation, Tang Anmiao asked, “Director Feng, he…?”

Yan Mu quickly responded: Go straight and turn at the corner.

Jiang Zhihuo understood, tucked his phone into his pocket, and asked, “Do you still remember what Feng Zhi did to you?”

”I…I remember.” Tang Anmiao lowered her head. She hadn’t yet fully recovered her strength, and her voice was extremely weak. “Director Feng…sprayed something at me, and then I…”

Tang Anmiao couldn’t continue. That spray was most likely some kind of drug that induced omega into estrus. It was not a memory worth recalling, so Jiang Zhihuo didn’t press further and instead asked, “Do you want to go over and check, or go home?”

Tang Anmiao nodded. “Go over and check.”

At the corner of the alley, Feng Zhi was tightly bound with a belt pulled from his waist, awkwardly leaning against the wall. There was dried blood beneath his nose, likely from the punch he had just received. Yan Mu was leaning against the nearby brick wall, arms crossed.

He was still wearing gloves.

Jiang Zhhuo said, “Good fellow, is it that disgusting? Not even willing to touch him?”

Yan Mu looked down coldly, clenching his palm. “Dirty.”

Jiang Zhihuo chuckled softly.

Seeing Tang Anmiao had followed, Feng Zhi turned his gaze to her. A smile spread across his lips. “Anmiao, are you okay?”

Feng Zhi’s smile seemed to be particularly meticulous in this situation. Tang Anmiao shrunk behind Jiang Zhihuo, her fingertips tightly gripping the hem of his clothes.

Feng Zhi looked at Yan Mu again and, with his usual gentle tone, he slowly said, “Yan Mu, what you’re doing right now is hurting me, which is not right.”

Jiang Zhihuo was truly disgusted by this person’s behavior, pretending nothing had happened while trying to play victim with that self-righteous tone. He squatted down beside him and said, “Do you think your actions are still those of a teacher?”

Feng Zhi smiled again; his eyes narrowed. “So, what did I do?”

Jiang Zhihuo was shocked by this shameless act. In a way, Feng Zhi was truly something else. “Cut the act. Do you think I’m blind? Director Feng, don’t you have a clue what you’re trying to do?”

Feng Zhi once again turned his gaze toward Tang Anmiao and smiled. “Anmiao, have I done anything to you?”

Feng Zhi struggled to stand up, and the phone that had been barely hanging at the edge of his pocket fell out.

The sound of a phone hitting the ground was particularly clear and harsh in the quiet and dim alley.

Tang Anmiao’s pupils shrank, and her eyes were fixed on the phone lying on the ground.

The memories from a moment ago slowly surfaced, bit by bit, before her eyes.

Feng Zhi held the phone, and the camera pointed directly at her, recording everything.

During her estrus period, she lost her mind, she cried, and she crawled toward Feng Zhi.

Feng Zhi did nothing; it was all her. It was she who wanted Feng Zhi to mark her.

When she realized this, Tang Anmiao’s legs began to tremble, and tears instantly welled up, sliding down her cheeks. She could no longer support herself and fell to the ground.

Just before she fell, Yan Mu timely caught her arms.

Feng Zhi was very pleased with the scene. Omegas would never speak out; they simply didn’t dare. He glanced at the phone, then looked at Tang Anmiao and spoke again, “You wanted me to do this, didn’t you?”

Tang Anmiao didn’t answer; she simply couldn’t. Her eyes were blank, like a puppet with its strings cut, her entire body limp, relying on the arm that was holding her up.

Seeing the situation, Jiang Zhihuo tried to snatch the phone away, but Feng Zhi remained unfazed, casually following his movements and reminding him, “The automatic backup I set up has already uploaded everything. Even if you take it, it won’t be any use.”

“Come.” Feng Zhi’s tone was unhurried, gentle as he said to Tang Anmiao, “You know very well that omegas aren’t taken seriously, which is why you’ve been reluctant to wear a collar, isn’t it?”

“I like omegas the most. I have always been good to you, right?”

“Help me untie it.”

“I will not send the video out. I’ll forgive you. You are my favorite omega.”

“Had enough?” Jiang Zhihuo lifted his foot and kicked the back of Feng Zhi’s knee. The age difference was obvious—Feng Zhi wasn’t as quick as him and couldn’t react in time. His body started to fall forward, but just then, Tang Anmiao shook off Yan Mu’s hand, pushed Jiang Zhihuo away, and helped Feng Zhi up, loosening the belt tied around his wrists.

Feng Zhi straightened his clothes and put his glasses back on. Under the streetlight, the lenses reflected an eerie light.

He bent down to pick up his phone, and as he stood up, he looked at Jiang Zhihuo and Yan Mu, his tone full of provocation. “Classmate Zhihuo, Classmate Yan Mu, it’s admirable to stand up for what’s right, but did either of you bother ask whether this omega classmate was willing?”

After speaking, he raised his hand to pinch Tang Anmiao’s shoulder, then turned to walk toward the exit of the alley.

Tang Anmiao trembled all over, collapsing onto the ground, and covered her face as she cried.

Jiang Zhihuo reached out, wanting to restrain Feng Zhi, but Yan Mu grabbed him; his gaze swept over Tang Anmiao and gently shook his head.

Even though she was very unwilling, given Tang Anmiao’s current state and the fact that they had no evidence, they could only let Feng Zhi go. He had just been kicked and his steps were a bit unsteady, yet even so, he still maintained an air of elegance, looking dignified and well-dressed.

Worse than a beast.

Jiang Zhihuo stared intently at Feng Zhi’s back, his palms clenched tightly together, his knuckles almost cracking from the pressure.

Tang Anmiao was still crying.

She clearly had done nothing wrong, but Feng Zhi placed all the blame on her with just a few words.

Jiang Zhihuo approached her and slowly crouched down beside her.

Tang Anmiao lifted her head, her eyes brimming with tears. Afraid that Jiang Zhihuo and Yan Mu didn’t believe her, she repeatedly explained, “I-I didn’t…It was my estrus; I didn’t know anything… I can’t control, I really can’t control…”

Yan Mu took out a tissue and handed it to Jiang Zhihuo. Jiang Zhihuo glanced at him, took it, and wiped Tang Anmiao’s tears. He gently patted her back, and once she calmed down, he said softly, “I know, it’s not your fault.”

Yan Mu picked up Tang Anmiao’s school bag. It was a bit heavy, filled with textbooks from her tutoring classes. As an alpha, he didn’t want to get close to Tang Anmiao, who was an omega, so he stayed where he was.

Yan Mu wasn’t good with comforting words, so he simply said, “If you want to cry, you can do it in your room. It’s late now; your family will be worried.”

“Okay…” Tang Anmiao forced herself to stop crying. She gasped for air several times before gradually calming down. Jiang Zhihuo supported her as she walked slowly towards home.

Tang Anmiao’s mother saw her daughter’s clothes stained with dirt while her eyes were red. She hurriedly asked the two boys behind her, “What happened to Anmiao?”

Jiang Zhihuo: “It’s nothing, Auntie.”

On the way, Tang Anmiao reminded Jiang Zhihuo and Yan Mu not to tell anyone about what happened; she didn’t want her mother to worry.

Jiang Zhihuo said, “There was construction on the road, and someone must have removed the sign. Anmiao didn’t see it and fell in. Luckily, she wasn’t hurt; only her clothes were dirty.”

“That’s good.” Mother Tang breathed a sigh of relief and thanked the two boys for bringing her daughter back. Since she had just cooked some late-night snacks in the kitchen, she invited them to stay and eat before leaving.

Jiang Zhihuo waved his hand and rejected politely.

Just as they walked out, Tang Anmiao called out to the two from the balcony. “Wait, wait a moment!”

She ran down from upstairs in her slippers. Her strength hadn’t fully recovered, and she was out of breath after running down from the third floor. Once she caught her breath, she said, “I called Qiuqiu today, but he didn’t say anything. However, he didn’t seem to be in good spirits, maybe…”

“Mhm, I know.” Jiang Zhihuo explained, “He came to find you this afternoon and mentioned Feng Zhi. His complexion was extremely pale, so I started paying attention to him.”

“I know, I know…” Tang Anmiao felt heavy in her chest, a surge of emotions bottled up inside her. If Feng Zhi really did something to Qiu Bian, similar to what happened to her tonight, she could understand why he was unwilling to talk about it.

Omegas were already criticized because of their estrus, and Feng Zhi maliciously recorded her, enticing her to say that she wanted him to mark her, while he made himself clear in the situation. If this matter were to be exposed, Feng Zhi would have every advantage, leaving Tang Anmiao with no room to defend or explain herself at all.

Tang Anmiao looked at Jiang Zhihuo and Yan Mu, then whispered, “Zhihuo, God of Learning, please don’t mention this matter for the time being…”

“I won’t say anything. Yan Mu…” Jiang Zhihuo pointed at Yan Mu. “Have you ever heard him talk?”

Huo-ge is very trustworthy, which eased Tang Anmiao.

“However!” Jiang Zhihuo changed the topic.

Tang Anmiao: “What’s wrong?”

Jiang Zhihuo: “Why do you call me by my name and call him God of Learning?! Have you forgotten that our relationship isn’t good?!”

Tang Anmiao was taken back by his question and blinked. “School, school bully?”

“…….” Not getting it, Jiang Zhihuo said, “Male God.”

Tang Anmiao couldn’t help but laugh.

The gloom surrounding her heart because of tonight’s accident lifted a little. Jiang Zhihuo waved his hand and said, “Get a good night’s sleep. We’ll talk about it again tomorrow when you’re feeling better.”

Just as he was about to leave, Tang Anmiao called out to Jiang Zhihuo, “Wait a moment, Zhihuo, um… Male, Male God!”

Tang Anmiao had been holding a paper bag in her hand; she pointed toward the alley, indicating that she wanted to avoid Yan Mu.

The purpose was clear; she wanted to talk about how Jiang Zhihuo was also an omega.

Jiang Zhihuo sighed and said helplessly, “He knows.”

“Huh?” Tang Anmiao was taken aback for a moment. Wasn’t the relationship between Male God and the God of Learning not good? Why did God of Learning know?!

However, Tang Anmiao didn’t ask further. She stuffed the paper bag into Jiang Zhihuo’s arms and said, “That’s good. This is a pheromone suppressor patch. Put it on your neck; it’s invisible and can cover the mark.”

Girls were thoughtful, and since Jiang Zhihuo hadn’t bought these things, he had just stuck a band-aid on his neck all day; he accepted it and said, “Thanks.”

“Let’s go.” With his hands in his pockets, Jiang Zhihuo nudged Yan Mu with his elbow.

Tang Anmiao waved at them from behind.

“What is that?” Yan Mu asked on the way back.

“This?” Jiang Zhihuo took the box out of the paper bag and pointed to the back of his neck. “Anmiao gave it to me; it’s a suppressor patch. Stick it here.”

The box was quite small, about the size of a palm.

Jiang Zhihuo’s eyes scanned the words ‘suppressor patch,’ then he tossed the box high in the air and caught it steadily in the palm of his hand.
