Thunder roared. While it seemed like time stood still, the monster’s eyes exploded, turning into a bloody mess.

Instantly, the monster was immobilized, its body twisting and shrinking until it was trapped inside a golden cage that had appeared out of nowhere. No matter how much it struggled, it couldn’t escape.

Hidden in the shadows, Jiu Chao also breathed a sigh of relief. He had almost rushed out moments ago but was held back by the knowledge that Xu Dongyou still had an unactivated protective talisman. That talisman would shield him in life-threatening situations, preventing the vehicle from harming Xu Dongyou.
