Ma Lin and Armand left, followed by Mu An and the other Omegas. If they stayed, they might get caught in the crossfire!

Jiang Yuan turned to look at Ji Rong, noticing he hadn’t left. He tightened his grip on Qiu Jingming, eyeing Ji Rong warily. He worried this guy might go berserk. They were evenly matched, and if a fight broke out, he couldn’t guarantee Qiu Jingming’s safety.

Though the original owner disliked Qiu Jingming’s crybaby tendencies, he still cared deeply for his brother.

Jiang Yuan always believed that since he’d taken over the original owner’s body, he should be responsible for his family. If Qiu Jingming were to be raped in public, he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself, let alone face others.

“I’ll help you,” Ji Rong said softly.

Ji Rong had also caught the faint sweet scent in the air, but thanks to his training in resisting Omega pheromones, it didn’t affect him much.

“No need!” Jiang Yuan flatly refused Ji Rong’s offer.

Ji Yang quickly responded with an “Oh” and moved far from Ji Rong.

“Jiang Yuan, I can help, I’m not—”

Ji Rong felt he could explain that he wasn’t affected, but before he could finish saying “affected,” over a dozen Alphas influenced by the pheromones swarmed toward them. Ji Rong sidestepped and threw one Alpha over his shoulder, slamming him to the ground.

Chaotic footsteps approached. Several Alphas, having lost all reason, tried to grab the unconscious Qiu Jingming. One kicked at Jiang Yuan, who dodged and yanked the frenzied Alpha to the ground, then stepped on his chest.

While Jiang Yuan dealt with the approaching Alphas, others rushed toward Ji Yang. Jiang Yuan quickly moved to trip one, sending him face-first into the ground.

Seeing others nearing Qiu Jingming, Jiang Yuan moved to intervene, but the Alpha he’d pinned suddenly grabbed his thigh!

“Damn it!” Jiang Yuan cursed under his breath.

He hadn’t expected Qiu Jingming’s pheromones to drive so many into a frenzy. Even after taking down two, a crowd still remained behind him!

“Ji Yang, run!” Jiang Yuan shouted desperately. He couldn’t just watch Qiu Jingming get raped!

Jiang Yuan yelled instinctively, but Ji Yang didn’t know how to escape, surrounded by several Alphas. In a panic, he ran towards the elevators!

As Jiang Yuan anxiously tried to clear a path for Ji Yang, he suddenly noticed Ji Rong rush to Ji Yang’s side. One hand grabbed a frenzied Alpha’s wrist, the other yanking him close. As he pulled the man down, Ji Rong’s knee shot up, striking the Alpha’s throat!

The Alpha instantly lost his ability to move!

Jiang Yuan broke free from the Alpha on the ground. In mere seconds, Ji Rong had taken down three men, his methods brutal! None of those he struck could stand up again. Jiang Yuan followed suit!

In a flash, the Alphas driven mad by pheromones were all lying on the ground before they knew what hit them!

As they headed upstairs, an Alpha lunged at them. Ji Rong stepped forward, leaned down, and his right fist slammed into the attacker’s abdomen with incredible force. The Alpha flew backwards!

Jiang Yuan similarly dealt with several attacking Alphas. Working together, they carved a path, finally delivering Qiu Jingming safely to the room.

Entering the hotel room, Jiang Yuan immediately ordered the room system to seal all doors and windows, containing the Omega pheromones inside.

Ji Yang placed Qiu Jingming on the living room sofa, exhaling deeply. “Damn, that scared me to death. Those Alphas looked ready to eat us alive!”

“You two are amazing. Without you, it would’ve been disastrous!”

Ji Yang felt relieved. With Jiang Yuan and Ji Rong from the Mecha Department, they could handle those Alphas. If it had been anyone else, forget getting safely to the room—Qiu Jingming would’ve been torn apart by those frenzied Alphas…

Jiang Yuan and Ji Rong leaned against the wall, panting heavily. Jiang Yuan sighed in relief. With doors and windows closed, as long as the pheromones didn’t leak out, those Alphas would soon regain their senses.

Jiang Yuan turned to Ji Rong, saying sincerely, “Thanks for earlier.”

Ji Rong looked at Jiang Yuan and nodded slightly. “You’re welcome.”

Jiang Yuan patted Ji Rong’s shoulder before turning to look at Qiu Jingming, who was curled up on the sofa.

An Omega in heat without an Alpha companion is extremely painful. Jiang Yuan didn’t know how painful, but that’s what the biology textbooks said.

Jiang Yuan immediately pulled out his communicator. After a moment, the call connected.

Song Yirui’s voice trembled, his hand shaking. Three days ago, he’d booked passage and now he was on Earth. He should have contacted Jiang Yuan immediately to find him and Qiu Jingming, but as soon as he disembarked, he became afraid.

He truly didn’t know how to face Jiang Yuan.

“Where are you?”

Hearing Jiang Yuan’s pleasant voice through the communicator, Song Yirui felt even more guilty. “I… I…”

“What ‘I’? I know about you and Jingming, but now’s not the time to discuss it. Jingming’s in heat. Get here quickly!” Jiang Yuan said in a low voice.

Song Yirui was momentarily stunned by Jiang Yuan’s words. “W-what? Jingming’s in heat? Where are you? I’ll come right away!”

Song Yirui: “I’m at Earth’s spaceport!”

Learning Song Yirui was also on Earth, Jiang Yuan immediately understood. Song Yirui must have come to chase after Qiu Jingming. He’d wondered how Fang Shi and Jiang Tianze could let Qiu Jingming travel alone. He quickly gave Song Yirui the hotel address and room number. About an hour later, Song Yirui appeared before everyone, drenched in sweat.

As he arrived, a hush fell over the group.

Then Jiang Yuan opened the door, dragged Song Yirui inside, and pushed him onto Qiu Jingming, who lay on the bed. Song Yirui immediately helped untie the ropes binding Qiu Jingming. The dazed Qiu Jingming, seeing Song Yirui’s face, laughed and cried simultaneously, sitting up to embrace him.

Seeing the two embrace, Jiang Yuan finally relaxed. He was really afraid that leaving Qiu Jingming alone during his heat might cause mental issues. Now that Song Yirui was here, the problem was perfectly solved.

Song Yirui’s arrival and his pheromones restored some of Qiu Jingming’s rationality. While hugging Song Yirui, he forced his eyes open to look at Jiang Yuan, wanting to see his expression. However, in the next moment, his eyes flashed with confusion and bewilderment.
