Sitting in the car, he fiddled with the roses in his arms, accidentally crushing one of them.
He pulled out that crushed rose and tossed it onto the back seat. After waiting for over half an hour, the cocktail party still hadn’t ended, so Yu Yang sent a WeChat message to Jin Wuqi: “?”
Jin Wuqi: “?”
Yu Yang: “I’ve been waiting downstairs for three hours.”
Jin Wuqi: “How would I know if you didn’t tell me?”
Yu Yang: “If I didn’t tell you, would you not come home tonight?”
Jin Wuqi: “.”
Five minutes later, Jin Wuqi walked out of the hotel. After getting in the car, he handed Yu Yang a rose that was clearly plucked from some decorative flower arrangement: “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Yu Yang: “It’s already past.”
Then he reached back to the rear seat, grabbed the bouquet of roses, and stuffed them into Jin Wuqi’s arms, saying, “Happy Valentine’s Day to you too.”
The rose scent of the omega’s pheromones was even more overwhelming. Jin Wuqi smiled, leaned in, and kissed Yu Yang through the bouquet of vibrant roses.
Back home, Yu Yang held Jin Wuqi and fell onto the bed, kissing him. Just as he had half the buttons of his shirt undone, Yu Cheng started knocking on the door from outside.
“Dad, dad…”
Yu Yang opened the door. Yu Cheng, rubbing his eyes sleepily, said, “I want to sleep with you guys.”
Yu Yang closed the door. Ten seconds later, he opened it again and stuffed two thousand yuan into Yu Cheng’s pyjama pocket, saying, “Go sleep by yourself.”
Yu Cheng immediately disappeared from the doorway.

Why? Because today is the 15th, so of course they’ve missed it.
