Content: Hi there, bored message board folks.^^ Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot of “Who’s that?” so I dug up an old post I wrote and brought it back. The criteria for being considered famous is being mentioned on the message board at least ten times, okay? Here’s the old list: . Below are updates and changes.
1) Motuena (updated)
If you haven’t been asked “Are you a girl?” by this guy, you’re still a noob. He’s desperate for online romance, recently had a gender transition, and is now pretending to be a girl. Watch out, regardless of your gender, LOL.
2) Sunset (updated)
Used to indiscriminately PK in guild zones. Many newer or returning players might not know him… got banned half a year ago, but his ban is about to be lifted, so I’m bringing him back up…T.T If you remember him, it’ll be easier to run away. Please, Sunset, quit the game for good… The melody guild is still tearfully recruiting guild members every night after losing their leader in an instant. The reason for the ban is here: .
3) ThousandSunsets
Everyone probably knows him for his noob control skills, lol. If you search him up, you’ll find videos and plenty of eyewitness accounts. Let’s each judge for ourselves. He’s been following around MeowieMeowMeow (the Berserker who helps newbies, mentioned in an old post) and recently even managed to break into Poseidon. There used to be a constant event called “Find MeowieMeowMeow!” but it’s ended now…ㅠㅠ It was quite rewarding, so it’s a shame… He’s a mysterious rich guy who will throw money around if you flatter him or if he’s in a good mood. Recently, I saw a PVP video, and it looks like he found a decent proxy… Let’s give him some credit; finding a proxy like that isn’t easy^^…
4) Rexu
If you see a mob standing in the middle of town, it’s probably him, LOL. No one uses the Giant Race skill, so they haven’t removed it. Anyway, don’t run up and attack him, saying “I thought it was a mob….” He’ll cry, haha. Let’s respect his preferences.

Lately, Kyungsoo’s daily life had become utterly monotonous. He would wake up, go to school, and then head to Noeul’s house, where they would play games together until sunset. Even though they had made a ridiculous bet, nothing had really changed. The only notable thing was hearing that Cheon Noeul had obtained another Galaxy Sword while heading home after their game session. That night, Kyungsoo had trouble sleeping due to an upset stomach.
And then, this morning, as soon as he woke up, he received some exciting news.
「Ji9star: ?? ThousandSunsets left the guild」
「HalloweenEggplant: He talked to me before leaving, and also posted on the guild board before quitting.」
「Ji9star: Oh, I didn’t see that.」
The guild chatroom was buzzing early in the morning. Even in his half-asleep state, Kyungsoo’s heart began to race as soon as he read the message, and he hurriedly placed his fingers on the keyboard.

He quickly closed the window again. Why was Cheon Noeul here? As he pondered, Noeul’s voice clearly rang out from outside, calling his name. Kyungsoo despaired.
‘I’m not going out tomorrow.’

He had completely forgotten that he had casually given out his address in response to that.

The clock showed it was already 1 PM.

When he didn’t answer, Noeul started pressing the doorbell repeatedly. Kyungsoo had no choice but to press the unlock button on the digital door lock. The door swung open, and there stood Cheon Noeul, unexpectedly dressed in casual clothes.
“Hyung, hello!”
“Oh, uh, hi.”
He was wearing a color-blocked hoodie and jeans. Although it didn’t look like he had dressed up, the clothes seemed stylish, probably because Noeul was wearing them. Suddenly, Kyungsoo felt like he should change his own clothes. Looking down at the middle school gym clothes he was wearing, he felt a bit embarrassed. But he quickly brushed it off and spoke nonchalantly.
“I heard you left the guild?”
“How did you know? You didn’t log in again after going home yesterday.”
Noeul tilted his head in curiosity. Kyungsoo lifted his phone in his left hand, showing him the guild chatroom. As soon as he did, a smirk tugged at the corner of Noeul’s mouth.
“Aha, what are they saying?”
“They’re not saying anything.”
“Thank goodness.”
The guild members weren’t the type to gossip about someone leaving. Kyungsoo looked down at the guild chat that had been pinging nonstop and his mouth fell open.

Earth Star had sent a screenshot of the guild board. The name “ThousandSunsets” and his post were stuck on the board, where guild members could leave a message like a check-in.

Kyungsoo thrust the picture in Noeul’s face and shouted.
“What is this?!”
Noeul looked puzzled, took the phone, and after glancing at the picture, he chuckled.
“My last words.”
“Delete it before I make it your real last words.”
“Haha, but I already left the guild.”
“I’ll re-invite you!”
“Once you leave, you can’t rejoin for a week.”
Noeul replied cheerfully. He then subtly brushed Kyungsoo’s hair that had gotten flattened.
“Your hair’s a mess. Did you just wake up?”
This was material for a decade’s worth of teasing. Even Earth Star, who sent the photo without any comment, had likely gone to post on the public forum. Despite everything, Kyungsoo’s stomach growled loudly.
“I thought this might happen, so I didn’t eat lunch either.”

“So I brought lunch. Do you like sushi?”
Sushi! The mention of sushi made Kyungsoo’s eyes light up, lifting his gloomy mood. Noeul took two sushi packs out of a rustling plastic bag. Bringing three packs of sushi, which were usually too expensive to buy, raised Noeul’s dignity in Kyungsoo’s mind a bit. Noeul followed Kyungsoo to the table and sat down. Kyungsoo took out grape juice and two cups from the fridge and opened the sushi packs.
“Aren’t you going to ask why I left the guild?”
“…You said you were going back to Meowie.”
“Wow, you believed that?”
Noeul sounded genuinely surprised, his eyes widening. Kyungsoo frowned and shook his head.
“I don’t believe you. I just repeated what you wrote. So why did you leave?”
Noeul, as expected, didn’t answer directly. Instead, he smiled and said it was still a secret.
“Then why ask?”
“Because I want you to be curious about me.”

From the beginning, Kyungsoo had never understood Noeul’s actions. Whether it was suddenly starting to follow him around months ago, putting a bounty on him, or the reason why he started liking him, none of it made sense. How he suddenly became good at the game, or whether he had always been skilled, Noeul never explained. He was a complete enigma. But Kyungsoo had long since given up trying to understand Noeul, thinking that to do so would require losing his own sanity.

Kyungsoo immediately understood what Noeul was getting at. He was fishing for compliments. The thought made Kyungsoo smirk.

Before Kyungsoo could respond, Noeul popped a piece of sushi into his mouth. As Kyungsoo began to chew, Noeul’s face lit up with pure joy.

No matter how much Kyungsoo thought about it, Noeul remained incomprehensible. Was he operating on a different level of thinking? Why would he take the trouble to feed him, another guy with all his limbs and, well, all the necessary parts? And why was he so happy about it?
“Why do you like me?”
It was a question Kyungsoo had been curious about for a while. But he didn’t expect Noeul to give a straight answer. Usually, whenever Kyungsoo asked something, Noeul would deflect and change the subject.

But this time, Noeul answered without a moment’s hesitation. The one caught off guard was Kyungsoo.

Noeul was firm. He didn’t seem to be joking. Kyungsoo blinked in confusion. My face…? Though he didn’t want to admit it, Cheon Noeul was handsome. Every time he visited the school, both girls and guys would steal glances at him. So, hearing that Noeul liked him because of his face felt oddly like a tease, leaving him with mixed feelings.
Really? What’s there to like about my face? Asking that felt embarrassingly self-serving, so Kyungsoo didn’t want to bring it up. Despite Noeul saying he liked him, it didn’t feel burdensome because Noeul’s feelings didn’t seem that deep. It didn’t seem like a joke, but it also didn’t feel like he genuinely liked him. Kyungsoo kept his head down and focused on chewing his food. He could feel Noeul’s gaze on him the entire time, but he deliberately ignored it.

As Kyungsoo thought about the past when he had missed out on items, his stomach tightened. But what’s done is done, and he decided to move on positively.

The space that members can use within the guild is called the ‘Guild Room.’ Here, the guild master can change skills and plant the Star Tree. Harvesting the Star Tree grants buffs that are better than using most potions. Additionally, combining items obtained from harvesting can create accessories with a ‘sparkling’ effect.
Some guilds are created specifically for Star Tree harvesting. Even just selling the materials without crafting can be quite profitable. Typically, participants need to bring a harvesting fee, as growing a tree costs around 800 million bells.

The souls of the guardians circled the Star Tree before dispersing into the air. The tree’s eyes glowed a menacing red.

So from now on ThousandSunsets will be mentioned as ThousandSunsets by Guildmates too. I did that in order to avoid confusion since Sunset is the name of Guild Master of Melody and he is going to be mentioned quite often in future.
