MMH Chapter 59

Gu Jingchen(12)

Gu Jingchen’s mind went blank, and when Xu Zhou’s tongue entered, he became even more bewildered.

However, instinctively, he tightly wrapped his hands around Xu Zhou’s waist, almost causing Xu Zhou to faint from being strangled.

When they separated, both of them were a bit disoriented.

Xu Zhou, with a barely perceptible smile at the corner of his lips, patted Gu Jingchen’s head and said, “Alright, I need to go write my paper, entertain yourself.”

Gu Jingchen: “…”

Just after the kiss, and he’s left here alone?

He felt a bit aggrieved, lowered his head, and silently glanced at the middle of his pants.

There… there was a reaction…

Unfortunately, Xu Zhou wasn’t interested in continuing to interact with him.

Xu Zhou seemed to sense his change and, before leaving, deliberately or unintentionally glanced at that area, then flashed him a faint smile.

Gu Jingchen: “…”

This smile was too enticing, practically seducing him!

He reached out, wanting to pull Xu Zhou back, but Xu Zhou had already turned around and left without a second thought.

Watching him leave, the disappointment on Gu Jingchen’s face slowly faded, replaced by a thick smile.

Although he hadn’t satisfied his physical needs, he was still happy because Xu Zhou had kissed him, indicating that Xu Zhou was willing to forgive him in his heart.

Moreover, he could stay here for the New Year!

In the following days, he obediently stayed at Xu Zhou’s home. Xu Zhou attended classes during the day and returned home promptly in the evening.

Gu Jingchen originally wanted to pick him up from school, but thinking about potentially upsetting Xu Zhou, he decided it wasn’t worth the risk. So, he dutifully stayed at home, resembling a little wife waiting for her husband to come home.

Xu Zhou’s attitude had improved a lot. At least, he was no longer distant, but there were still no intimate gestures.

To say he wasn’t regretful would be untrue, but Gu Jingchen wasn’t in a hurry. They were still young, and there was plenty of time.

The New Year arrived quickly.

Originally, Xu Zhou’s parents planned to come and accompany him, but upon learning that Gu Jingchen was there, they decided not to come. Xu Zhou knew full well that his family still hoped for him and Gu Jingchen to be together, trying to play matchmaker.

Only the two of them celebrated the New Year together. Gu Jingchen was delighted and even learned a few dishes from the chef to cook for Xu Zhou.

At night, the two stayed up to welcome the New Year. Gu Jingchen happily presented a gift to Xu Zhou, saying, “Zhou Zhou, I wish you a peaceful and healthy new year.”

Of course, he silently added, “If you could accept me, that would be great.”

The gift was a safety button, one that Grandpa Gu gave to Gu Jingchen when he was a child.

Xu Zhou silently looked at it for a few seconds but ultimately didn’t refuse. He accepted it and said, “Thank you.”

Gu Jingchen was thrilled. “You’re welcome.”

Xu Zhou knew the origin of this safety button, yet he still accepted it. Didn’t that mean Xu Zhou was willing to accept him?

Excitedly, he exclaimed, “We’re turning twenty soon, becoming adults.”

Xu Zhou amusingly squinted at him, saying, “You were already an adult at eighteen.”

However, in his heart, this person still seemed like a child, as if he would never grow up.

He looked at the silly smile on Gu Jingchen’s face and slowly said, “I want to drink.”

Gu Jingchen immediately stood up, saying, “I’ll get it for you.”

He didn’t see anything wrong with drinking. They were both adults, and it was New Year’s Eve; having some alcohol was perfectly fine.

But what he brought back was champagne, a milder choice.

Xu Zhou poured him a glass and raised it, saying, “Wishing you a healthy and prosperous new year, may all your wishes come true.”

Gu Jingchen looked at him and mumbled, “I only have one wish…”

That wish was for Zhou Zhou to forgive him and be with him.

Xu Zhou didn’t respond, tapping his glass with his fingertip, signaling him to drink.

Gu Jingchen gulped down the drink in one go.

Xu Zhou finished his drink as well, refilled their glasses, and said, “Another round.”

Gu Jingchen didn’t think much about it. Champagne wasn’t too strong, so he could handle however much he drank.

But he forgot that Xu Zhou didn’t have a high alcohol tolerance.

As the bottle emptied, Xu Zhou became intoxicated.

It wasn’t even midnight yet, and Gu Jingchen originally planned for them to stay up together until dawn. Now that Xu Zhou was drunk, the plan couldn’t proceed as intended. He helped Xu Zhou upstairs to his room for sleep.

Xu Zhou half leaned against Gu Jingchen’s chest, dazedly following him upstairs. Just after taking a couple of steps, he tripped over his own feet, nearly falling to the ground.

Gu Jingchen was sweating profusely, so he decided to pick him up and head towards the staircase.

Although Xu Zhou was slightly shorter than him, he wasn’t particularly heavy, at least light enough for Gu Jingchen to carry.

He brought Xu Zhou back to the second-floor bedroom, placed him on the bed, covered him with a blanket, and then went downstairs to ask the cook to prepare some sobering soup. He planned to feed Xu Zhou with it later, fearing that he might wake up with a headache tomorrow.

When he returned to the room, he found that Xu Zhou had managed to take off his pajamas, leaving only a pair of underwear. The quilt was pulled down, exposing his fair legs.

Unconsciously, Gu Jingchen swallowed, feeling a bit parched in the throat.

The entire villa had the heating on, so there was no concern about catching a cold. Gu Jingchen stood in place for a few seconds, sensing that if he continued to look, he might lose control.

He quickly approached, ready to cover Xu Zhou with the blanket.

However, in the next moment, Xu Zhou suddenly turned over and pinned him down on the bed.

Gu Jingchen was a bit stunned, looking up at Xu Zhou, who had closed his eyes, his brows slightly furrowed, perhaps feeling a bit uncomfortable.

He reached out to touch Xu Zhou’s face, asking with concern, “Zhou Zhou, are you feeling unwell?”

If he had known, he wouldn’t have let Zhou Zhou drink. Drinking too much would undoubtedly lead to a headache.

Suddenly, Xu Zhou opened his eyes and stared fixedly at him.

Gu Jingchen was taken aback.

Zhou Zhou’s gaze was moist and profound, as if containing a myriad of unspoken words.

He involuntarily held his breath, locking eyes with him.

Xu Zhou suddenly leaned in and kissed him.

Gu Jingchen’s eyes widened.

Seeing that he didn’t respond, Xu Zhou seemed a bit annoyed. He bit him fiercely and muttered as he pushed him away, “If you don’t like it, forget it.”

How could he not like it? He just didn’t expect Zhou Zhou to take the initiative to kiss him.

Gu Jingchen quickly hugged him, as if probing, and also as if comforting, gently kissing the lips of the person in his arms.

Xu Zhou didn’t push him away again, and even responded to him.

Encouraged, Gu Jingchen became excited and bit him more forcefully.

In the end, both of them seemed a bit out of control. Xu Zhou lay softly in his arms, breathing heavily.

Gu Jingchen’s body had a strong reaction, wishing to embed the person in his heart, but he hesitated whether to continue or not.

Today was New Year’s Eve, a perfect day, and both of them were adults now. Zhou Zhou was also soft towards him, undoubtedly a great opportunity.

But… it seemed like Zhou Zhou hadn’t fully accepted him yet. If he acted rashly, it might make Zhou Zhou angry.

After hesitating for a moment, he ultimately didn’t continue. He just kissed Xu Zhou’s forehead tenderly.

Buried in his arms, Xu Zhou’s eyes, previously blurred due to alcohol, became clear. A faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

He could feel Gu Jingchen’s fiery body, and that particular area pressed against him, making him feel a heat spreading through his entire body.

It seemed that this big silly guy wasn’t lying. He really didn’t reject men, and not only that, he seemed like he wanted to devour him.

Today, he intentionally drank, somewhat testing the waters, and Gu Jingchen didn’t disappoint him.

However… he still felt that they should take it step by step. Even though Gu Jingchen had developed feelings and was no longer repulsed by him, he was afraid that if they went too far, Gu Jingchen might become uncomfortable.

In the end, he buried his head in Gu Jingchen’s arms and said in a muffled voice, “I’m tired, let’s sleep.”

There was plenty of time in the future. They could take it slowly.

Gu Jingchen also held this attitude, not wanting to scare Xu Zhou.

Both of them understood each other well. Despite having feelings, they didn’t take further steps. They just quietly held each other, calming their breaths.

When the servant brought the sobering soup, Gu Jingchen fed Xu Zhou, and he didn’t rush to leave the room. He was afraid that Xu Zhou would feel uncomfortable if he woke up in the middle of the night, so he planned to stay by his side.

Xu Zhou lay on the bed with closed eyes and said in a hoarse voice, “I’m fine. You can go to sleep.”

Gu Jingchen sat on the edge of the bed, patting him gently over the blanket, as if comforting a child. “I’ll leave when you fall asleep.”

After a moment of silence, Xu Zhou said, “Come up.”

Gu Jingchen froze.

Xu Zhou: “Hmm?”

Gu Jingchen realized what he meant and suddenly felt at a loss, accompanied by a strange joy. Afraid that Xu Zhou might change his mind, he quickly got into bed.

As soon as he lay down, Xu Zhou snuggled into his arms, found a comfortable position on his own, rubbed against his chest, and muttered, “Sleep.”

Initially, Gu Jingchen was a bit nervous, his body tense. However, he soon heard Xu Zhou’s steady breathing, indicating that he had fallen asleep. Gradually relaxing, Gu Jingchen held him tightly and couldn’t help stealing several kisses before closing his eyes to sleep.

About ten minutes later, Gu Jingchen fell into a deep sleep. Xu Zhou opened his eyes and looked at the wall lamp above the bed, casting shadows on the blanket. A faint smile appeared on his lips.

He tilted his head to kiss Gu Jingchen’s jaw and muttered, “Fool.”

His tone carried a playful smile.

The next morning, both of them woke up almost simultaneously.

Gu Jingchen’s first reaction was to lower his head and look at Xu Zhou.

Xu Zhou was still half-asleep, with a cute disheveled hair.

Gu Jingchen kissed his forehead and hesitated, “Zhou Zhou, are we together now?”

He came to California this time with the intention of seeking Xu Zhou’s forgiveness. However, last night, not only did they kiss, but Xu Zhou also allowed him to share the bed. He felt that Xu Zhou must have accepted him.

In a few days, he would return to China, and he naturally hoped to have a clear relationship.

Perhaps due to last night’s drinking or just waking up, Xu Zhou’s voice was heavy with nasal sounds as he lazily replied, “Don’t you want to take responsibility?”

Gu Jingchen was momentarily stunned, then overwhelming joy surged in his heart. He eagerly said, “Of course not. I will take responsibility, all the way to the end!”
