MMH Chapter 6

Mr. He(6)

Gu Jingchen rushed back to Haicheng in the middle of the night, thinking about Ye Ting on the way. He called the director, “Lu Dao, is there an actor named Hao Yunlong in the cast?”

Lu Dao, who was busy discussing the script with the deputy director and lead actors, got up to answer the call, “Yes.”

Gu Jingchen sneered, “I gave you the money and put you in charge of this production, not so you could recruit actors with money but character issues.”

His tone was so icy that it left Lu Dao slightly intimidated.

He had known Young Master Gu for many years, and they were considered friends. Otherwise, Young Master Gu wouldn’t entrust him with over a hundred million in investment. Over the years, Young Master Gu had never spoken to him with such a cold and detached tone, showing no regard for his face.

He didn’t know where he had offended Young Master Gu, but it was evident that it had something to do with Hao Yunlong. He immediately asked, “Young Master, what happened with Hao Yunlong?”

Gu Jingchen furrowed his brows, realizing that the director was still unaware of what had happened with Ye Ting. If Ye Ting had been just an extra, it would have been understandable, but the director knew that he was from the Ye family, and yet he seemed oblivious.

His voice grew even colder, “Don’t let that scumbag appear in the production again.”

The director was greatly alarmed and wanted to ask for more details, but Young Master Gu had already hung up.

Lu Dao, now concerned, went back to check on the cast and discovered that Hao Yunlong was missing from the main actors.

Something seemed wrong, so he asked someone about his whereabouts.

One of the assistant directors reported, “He’s in the hospital. It’s said that he harassed an extra and got beaten up badly by the extra. He’s also threatening to sue the extra and our production. I told you we shouldn’t have let that troublemaker play the second male lead. He got beaten up; it serves him right. What does our production have to do with it?”

Lu Dao couldn’t hear the rest of the assistant director’s words; he had beads of sweat forming on his forehead, realizing that the situation was grave.

Crowd extras, harassment…

No wonder Young Master Gu was furious; the extra who was harassed was that noble little young master from the Ye family!

Lu Dao’s body went limp, and he collapsed onto the sofa.

The Ye family, the Zhou family, the Gu family…

Hao Yunlong, what an idiot!

Gu Jingchen contemplated causing some trouble for Jin Xin Technologies. As he was about to refresh his social media feed, he saw a post from Ye Ting.

These two were together in such an extravagant way as if they wanted the whole world to know.

He thought of Xu Zhou and couldn’t help but smile bitterly.

He sent generous red envelopes to both He Jing and Ye Ting and then had his assistant contact the CEO of Jin Xin Technologies, asking the CEO to handle his lover.

However, the assistant handed him a phone and said, “Young Master, I think you don’t need to contact Mr. Jin.”

When Gu Jingchen looked at the phone, he discovered that there were videos all over the internet of Jin Xin Technologies CEO Jin Peng engaging in explicit activities with the male actor Hao Yunlong inside a car.

Jin Peng, who was in his forties, had a wife and children but was caught having an affair with a male actor inside a car.

Hao Yunlong, who was supposed to have a reserved and aloof image, was seen in the video engaging in explicit behavior and being financially supported by a balding older man.

The internet was buzzing with this scandal, and it was trending everywhere, with Jin Peng and Hao Yunlong taking center stage.

Gu Jingchen understood what had happened; this was surely He Jing’s doing.

It is said that Zhou Nianyuan and his right-hand man, He Jing, are a dynamic duo in both light and dark aspects, with one being reserved but powerful and the other having a meticulous mind. Both of them employ powerful and precise methods, which have elevated the reputation of the Zhou family to its pinnacle over the past decade.

Among the prominent families in Haicheng, aside from the Ye family, the Zhou family is highly respected.

This is He Jing’s modus operandi – swift, ruthless, and accurate, like a sword drawn from its sheath, every strike hits the mark.

Unaware of the events unfolding online, Ye Ting was focused on replying to comments on his social media posts.

He replied to his cunning older cousin Zhou Nianyuan with a knife emoji, sent witty emojis to his other cousins and relatives, and replied to his father with a flower emoji. To his mother, he wrote: [Hold on, Mom! I’ll send out red envelopes after I get married!]

The Ye family had businesses worldwide, and he didn’t know how many employees the Ye Corporation had in total, but he knew his father’s wallet would definitely take a hit. He loved his father, so he decided to save the financial mischief for after his wedding.

In the adjacent room, He Jing had booked a separate room. After Ye Ting updated his social media and He Jing changed his WeChat name, they both received countless phone calls from friends, well-wishers, and business partners. Eventually, He Jing grew tired of the continuous calls and decided to reject any incoming ones.

Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window, he scrolled through Ye Ting’s social media updates. He could imagine the cute and charming way in which the young man responded to comments while muttering to himself. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

Coming to the film and television city today was somewhat impulsive. Originally, his plan was just to inform his parents, and he had intended to find the right moment to officially establish a relationship with Ye Ting on a different occasion.

In truth, he was incredibly busy every day, even on weekends, with a multitude of tasks to handle. He had a merger case to attend to in the afternoon. However, he rescheduled everything to meet Ye Ting, making him the priority.

As it turned out, this impulsive decision had yielded satisfying results.

The next day, Ye Ting was awakened by the doorbell. He had been excited all night and didn’t fall asleep until the early hours of the morning.

He groggily hopped out of bed and rushed to answer the door. There, he found He Jing holding a bag.

Rubbing his eyes, his soft voice still carried traces of sleepiness as he asked, “Jing-ge, didn’t you bring the room card?”

He Jing didn’t respond immediately, his gaze fixed on Ye Ting.

The young man was dressed in the same sleepwear from the previous night, a set of short top and shorts. His straight, fair legs, beautiful collarbones, and trusting, innocent eyes shone in the morning sunlight that filtered through the white curtain. Half of the light fell on the young man’s head, making him appear like the purest angel in the world.

He Jing furrowed his brows ever so slightly and handed the bag to the young man. Then, he scooped him up into his arms.

In an instant, Ye Ting was wide awake. He buried his face in He Jing’s chest, his arms tightly wrapped around the man’s neck. Shy and expectant, he whispered, “Jing-ge, do you think I look especially delicious in the morning? Are you planning to devour me?”

He Jing lowered his gaze to look at him.

The young man’s long, fluttering eyelashes quivered, his face full of anticipation, radiating cuteness and allure.

He Jing didn’t respond to his teasing. With a purposeful stride, he entered the bedroom and gently placed Ye Ting on the bed.

Ye Ting clutched the bag in one hand and He Jing’s arm in the other, blinking his eyes as if to say, ‘Come and have me.’

He Jing couldn’t help but give him a helpless glance, gripping his tender foot, and then slapped it lightly on the sole of his bare foot. “The floor is cold. Next time, remember to wear shoes.”

He knew well that the young man needed reminders; otherwise, he wouldn’t remember.

Ye Ting grumbled, “I had to open the door in a hurry.”

He Jing asked, “You won’t listen?”

Ye Ting immediately covered his mouth, “I’ll listen, I’ll listen.”

A faint smile tugged at the corner of He Jing’s lips. He pointed to Ye Ting’s feet and said, “Put on your shoes and go freshen up.”

He then took the bag from the young man’s hand, placed it in the dining area, washed his hands, and brought out the breakfast.

Ye Ting murmured about the man’s lack of romanticism and rushed to the bathroom to freshen up. As he looked at his dark eye circles in the mirror, he couldn’t help but cover his face and exclaim, “I look so ugly…”

Upon recollection, it seemed that the man hadn’t minded.

This realization immediately boosted his spirits.

After quickly freshening up, he followed the sounds to the dining area and found two steaming baskets of xiaolongbao1I’m not sure if this is the correct pic… on the table. Next to them, there were soy milk and fried dough sticks2, all radiating a warm, inviting aroma.

He exclaimed in delight and ran up to He Jing, stopping right in front of him. “Jing-ge, did you buy this breakfast for me?”

He Jing’s gaze landed on his face.

The young man’s face was still slightly damp, and his disheveled hair added to his allure. His eyes were full of enthusiasm.

He Jing’s eyelids lowered slightly, and he handed a few tissues to Ye Ting, gesturing towards the water on his face. “Wipe it off.”

Ye Ting took the tissues and casually wiped away the water from his face. Then he pointed at the xiaolongbao and said, “Wow, I heard about this place in the film city that serves amazing xiaolongbao. People have to queue up in the morning to get them.” He suddenly paused and stared at He Jing with an intense look. “Jing-ge, did you go out specifically to buy these for me?”

He Jing didn’t respond immediately. He took out disposable chopsticks, split them apart, and meticulously removed the splinters from the ends. Then, he handed them to Ye Ting. “Sit down and eat.”

Ye Ting happily accepted the chopsticks and sat down beside him. “Come on, you bought this breakfast just for me, didn’t you?”

The dining table had six chairs in total, with three on each side. Ye Ting had specifically chosen the chair next to He Jing and insisted on squeezing in with him.

He Jing prepared the condiments and set them in front of Ye Ting. Annoyed by his persistence, he had to admit, “Yes, I bought it for you.”

Ye Ting was delighted, his face lit up, and he eagerly took a bite of a xiaolongbao.

The xiaolongbao was filled with tender and flavorful meat, and the dipping sauce had radish and soybeans, creating a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors.

Ye Ting sighed in satisfaction. “So delicious!”

He Jing’s gaze remained fixed on Ye Ting’s lips, which were slightly moist from eating. They appeared glossy and even more tempting than the xiaolongbao.

He glanced at them briefly before lowering his eyelids, concealing the desire hidden deep within his eyes.

Ye Ting continued to praise the food, and with his good appetite, he had polished off seven or eight xiaolongbao in just a few minutes.

He Jing watched him eat non-stop, and his features softened. Upon closer inspection, a faint hint of a smile appeared in the depths of his eyes.

Ye Ting enjoyed his meal, making it worth the forty-minute wait.

After filling his belly, he wiped his mouth with a napkin and began to share his plans. “I intend to stay on the set for seven days… What about you, Jing-ge? Are you leaving today?”

He didn’t want the older man to go so soon.

He Jing glanced at him and was about to respond when the doorbell rang.

Ye Ting said, “I’ll go and answer the door!”

Scampering to the door in his slippers, Ye Ting left heavy imprints on the dark carpet.

He Jing smiled, busying himself with cleaning up the dishes while he heard Ye Ting let out an excited cry at the door.

He didn’t inquire about what had happened and patiently waited for Ye Ting to return.

As expected, within just a few seconds, Ye Ting came back to him holding a bouquet of flowers. “Jing-ge, someone sent me flowers… Only you and the director know where I’m staying, and the director wouldn’t send me flowers… So the flowers are from you, right?”

He looked pleased, with a wide grin on his face. His fair face, buried in the pink and purple bouquet, was even more radiant than the sunshine behind him.

He Jing responded with a low “Hmm.”

Ye Ting’s eyes sparkled, and he blushed slightly. “I haven’t sent you flowers yet.”

He had promised to send him flowers every day.

He Jing smiled and said, “Just remember it.”

Ye Ting fiddled with the bouquet and asked, “Are these hydrangeas?”

He Jing nodded.

Curious, Ye Ting inquired further, “Jing-ge, why did you send me hydrangeas? Is there a special meaning behind them?”

He assumed that sending flowers had some symbolism, but he had never sent flowers before and hadn’t thought about this aspect while pursuing He Jing. Therefore, he was unaware of the language of flowers and their meanings.

He Jing looked at him with a steady gaze and casually said, “I chose them at random… Maybe the name has some meaning.” He raised the corner of his mouth and added, “Or maybe you can throw a hydrangea to me, and I’ll catch it.”

Ye Ting’s eyes widened.

He compared himself to an ancient young lady in a traditional setting, and He Jing was the man who caught the flower like a dashing suitor…

Was this… a playful gesture?

Blushing, he stammered, “Sure… sure.”

Originally, He Jing was just teasing him. But seeing his reaction, he playfully pointed at the sofa and said, “Climb up there and throw it to me.”

Ye Ting, whose face was now as red as an apple, obediently followed the instructions.

He aimed carefully and threw the hydrangea straight towards He Jing.

He Jing caught it firmly in his hand.

He immediately applauded, “You caught it!”

He Jing watched his charmingly innocent smile and walked slowly to the sofa, returning the hydrangea to him.

With a red face, Ye Ting accepted it solemnly and then suddenly rushed to the bedroom, exclaiming, “I’ll find a bottle to put it in!”

He Jing heard the sounds of Ye Ting rummaging through his things, presumably looking for a bottle, then going to the bathroom to get water, all while humming a tune.

A single bouquet of flowers could make the boy so happy.

He couldn’t help but smile.

After a while, Ye Ting returned to him, but the hydrangea was no longer in his hand.

He nestled in He Jing’s arms, hugging his waist, and said, “Jing-ge, I just looked up online, and pink and purple hydrangeas symbolize purity and eternity…”

His voice became increasingly softer, accompanied by a hint of nasal tone.

He felt that the level of romance displayed by the older man might just be his downfall. He felt like he was soaking in a honey jar right now.

He Jing gently stroked the not-so-soft hair on his head and asked, “Do you like it?”

The boy buried his entire face in He Jing’s chest and replied in a muffled voice, “Mm.”

The man smiled slightly, gently lifted his face, and planted a light kiss on his lips.

The kiss made Ye Ting itch all over. Suddenly, he pushed He Jing onto the sofa, then sat on his lap and said, “I’m so happy…”

His shorts barely reached his thighs, and his long, pale legs wrapped around He Jing. It was all too much for He Jing to bear.

He held the boy’s slender waist firmly and said in a hoarse voice, “Don’t move.”

However, Ye Ting was no longer as obedient as before. Instead, he seemed to be challenging him, twisting his waist even harder.

Their bodies pressed closely together.

Legs touching, waists and abdomens pressed against each other.

The boy was enveloped in a shower of fragrance, and the warm breath in his ear made He Jing shiver. “About to move,” the boy whispered mischievously into his ear.

He Jing was left speechless.

With an even softer voice, Ye Ting continued, “If you like, Jing-ge, I can even role-play…”

He Jing remained silent.

The boy’s tendency for acting and role-playing was resurfacing once again.

Ye Ting is wilder than Shen Ye 😂
