MOFB Chapter 68

When Shen Huaizhi’s words fell, Jiang Heng was first stunned for a few seconds, then instinctively looked around.

Shen Huaizhi’s voice wasn’t too low, and Chen Xingchi might have overheard. Chen Xingchi was currently rubbing his nose and scratching his head with a look of deep resentment.

At this moment, Shen Huaizhi’s gaze was fixed on Jiang Heng, his lips curling into a faint smile, as if patiently waiting for his response.

Jiang Heng glanced at him, awkwardly avoiding Shen Huaizhi’s unabashed gaze. He grabbed a test paper and pen from the desk and began writing with a slight sense of panic.

Shen Huaizhi chuckled softly. Before he could say anything more, he heard Jiang Heng’s somewhat hesitant voice: “Alright then.”

It wasn’t as if he hadn’t slept before.

It wasn’t as if he hadn’t slept in Shen Huaizhi’s bed before.

Damn.

Stupid Jiang Heng, why are you so nervous?

After speaking, Jiang Heng belatedly realized that his ears might be red again and even had the impulse to cover them.

Shen Huaizhi hummed, his eyes fixed on Jiang Heng’s flushed earlobes, and reminded him, “Jiang Heng, you’re holding your pen the wrong way.”

Jiang Heng: “……”

At that moment, Jiang Heng had already thought of a hundred ways to get revenge on his deskmate.

Seeing these two start another round of secretive conversation, Chen Xingchi pursed his lips to hide his curious expression and continued messaging He Ci.

【I’ve never seen anyone act so coy about going to a hot spring】

【Seriously, Jiang Heng is like this as an Omega? I used to admire him so much】

【Ah, I also want this kind of Omega who’s usually Alpha but soft in a relationship】

【He Ci: ……】

【He Ci: Little brother, your feelings are quite complicated】

【He Ci: I’ve taken screenshots. The bet is off, otherwise, if I send this to Shen Huaizhi, and he finds out you’re eyeing his Omega behind his back, what do you think he’ll do to you?】

【Chen Xingchi: No, brother, who’s talking to whom? I didn’t say anything】

【Chen Xingchi: I’m not eyeing him, just feeling emotional】

【He Ci: Smile.jpg】

【Chen Xingchi: [Transfer]】

After transferring the money, Chen Xingchi lay on the desk with a face of despair over his lost money.

“Chen Xingchi.” While he was lamenting, Shen Huaizhi suddenly turned around and tapped his desk.

Chen Xingchi jumped in fright.

It seemed Shen Huaizhi didn’t notice his reflexive reaction and asked calmly, “Have the rooms been booked?”

Chen Xingchi: “Huh?”

“If not, I’ll handle it.”

The hot spring resort was located in the southern part of the city, over an hour’s drive away.

By the time the four of them arrived, Jiang Heng had already had a nap in the car.

He did well on the school’s initial small-scale exam, improving by about ten places compared to his previous final exam ranking, which was a significant progress.

Wang Yong had even praised him in class for this.

Though Jiang Heng knew deep down that without Shen Huaizhi’s help with the exam questions, he might have lost a hundred points or so, it didn’t diminish his good mood from the praise he received.

Having been criticized all his life, this was the first time he enjoyed such public recognition.

The hot spring resort was brightly lit in the evening.

When Jiang Heng and the others got out of the car, someone was already waiting at the entrance to greet them. The driver confirmed the time with Shen Huaizhi and then left.

As soon as they got out of the car, they realized how cold it was outside.

Jiang Heng was fine.

Recently, Shen Huaizhi had been increasingly strict with him. Even at a time like this, Jiang Heng was forced to wear a down jacket that reached almost to his knees. Despite being bundled up in the down jacket, his naturally superior build still made him look upright and striking.

He Ci watched Jiang Heng’s back for a while and couldn’t help teasing, “Jiang Heng, you look like a bear stuffed into a sack right now.”

Jiang Heng was playing with Shen Huaizhi’s chilly hand. Hearing this, he paused, turned back, and tugged at the corners of his mouth towards He Ci. “If you want, you can also have Chen Xingchi get you one.”

He then looked down at his own clothes. “Do you know what this is called?”

Chen Xingchi was about to say it’s none of his business when Jiang Heng leisurely added, “There’s a kind of cold called your boyfriend thinking you’re cold.”

He Ci and Chen Xingchi: “……”

They shouldn’t have meddled.

The two of them felt like their heads were even more illuminated at the moment.

Hearing this, Shen Huaizhi smiled helplessly. “You can take it off once you’re inside. It’s cold tonight, and you might catch a cold if you stay outside too long.”

Jiang Heng huffed softly and said nothing.

He Ci and Chen Xingchi: “……”

Chen Xingchi awkwardly changed the subject. “Shall we go eat something first? I ordered a deluxe set meal. I’ve heard that the set meals at this resort are quite good.”

“Sure, little brother, that’s thoughtful of you,” He Ci immediately agreed. “Shall we head to the restaurant first?”

Jiang Heng nodded. “I’ll go change my clothes.”

He then turned to Shen Huaizhi. “Class monitor, are you coming?”

It wasn’t clear if it was an invitation or just a normal inquiry, which left Shen Huaizhi momentarily stunned. He quickly nodded and said, “I’ll go get the room key.”

Soon, the four of them split into pairs.

While Shen Huaizhi was getting the room key, Jiang Heng waited for him in the lobby.

Since it was the weekend and very cold, there were quite a few people arriving at the hot spring resort that evening.

Jiang Heng took off his down jacket’s hood and was absorbed in playing a match-three game on his phone. Before long, he heard a commotion at the entrance.

He vaguely heard the word “President” among other things, suggesting a notable figure.

Jiang Heng wasn’t interested in these matters but couldn’t help looking up when the noise grew louder.

A few men in black suits were surrounding one person.

The person being surrounded was quite perceptive and glanced in Jiang Heng’s direction.

However, Jiang Heng had already looked down and resumed his game, so he didn’t notice the gaze.

When Shen Huaizhi returned with the room key, Jiang Heng had failed the same level twice and was frowning, looking quite displeased.

Shen Huaizhi, finding it somewhat amusing, put his arm around Jiang Heng’s shoulders and led him to the elevator. “Out of energy?”

Jiang Heng followed obediently, saying, “I’m done playing.” He then glanced at the elevator’s floor indicator, paused, and suddenly remembered something. Since there were no other people in the elevator, Jiang Heng asked with a serious face, “Did you book… a king-sized bed?”

Shen Huaizhi was momentarily taken aback but quickly responded with a shake of his head. “No.”

Jiang Heng was about to relax when Shen Huaizhi continued calmly, “It’s a couple-themed room.”

Jiang Heng: “……?”

Jiang Heng hesitated for a moment, cursing Shen Huaizhi in his mind, and couldn’t help but remind him, “Shen Huaizhi, the doctor said that my glands are very fragile before I turn 18…”

It was unclear where Jiang Heng’s thoughts were going, but Shen Huaizhi, hearing this, found his own thoughts becoming less pure, and his gaze darkened slightly.

After a moment, he chuckled softly at Jiang Heng’s tense reaction. “The hot spring resort doesn’t have a couple-themed room.”

Jiang Heng’s face momentarily went blank, and before he could speak, Shen Huaizhi reassured him, “I know you’re very delicate.”

Jiang Heng responded with a simple, “Oh,” and then noted, “We’ve arrived.”

It was unclear how much time had passed, but Jiang Heng seemed to hear someone entering the room.

He lifted his eyelids, and his years of alertness made him instinctively grab a nearby plate, ready to defend himself. Before he could throw it, he recognized the familiar scent of Shen Huaizhi’s pheromones.

Jiang Heng’s eyes fluttered open, still feeling drowsy.

“Wait, class monitor, why are you coming in here?”

Shen Huaizhi brought some fruit and drinks, and upon hearing the question, he replied, “If you’re tired, you can nap for a while. I’ll stay outside and keep watch.”

Jiang Heng turned his head away.

Shen Huaizhi was wearing a bathrobe, tied conservatively, with only his collarbone and a small part below it exposed to the air. Despite this, Jiang Heng could imagine Shen Huaizhi’s well-defined physique under the robe.

Perhaps due to the lingering drowsiness from the hot spring, Jiang Heng, with a strange impulse, whispered, “Class monitor, could you bend down a bit?”

Shen Huaizhi seemed to not fully understand the meaning of his words but still complied and crouched down. “What’s up?”

Jiang Heng turned his head, licked his lips, and with a hint of greed in his eyes, said, “Nothing much, just a bit tempted to kiss you.”

Whether it was the high indoor temperature, the prolonged hot spring soak, or the straightforward nature of his words, Jiang Heng’s face was slightly flushed with an unusual redness. He probably didn’t realize how he appeared to an Alpha at that moment.

His beautiful figure was faintly visible under the water, with his shoulders and collarbones glistening, water occasionally sliding down his pale neck. His nape, where his glands were exposed, was damp, and a faint rose scent spread in the hot spring room, creating an irresistible allure.

Yet, he remained oblivious, his lips red and moist, his gaze unabashedly fixed on the Alpha with unmasked desire.

Shen Huaizhi, who never refused Jiang Heng’s requests, actually seemed pleased. He chuckled softly and gently instructed, “Close your eyes.”

Then he began to kiss Jiang Heng tenderly.

His kisses, laced with subtle desires, fell on Jiang Heng’s neck, quickly turning the skin red. Shen Huaizhi’s fingertips pressed against Jiang Heng’s protective patch repeatedly. Despite the barrier, the touch on the fragile glands made Jiang Heng clench his teeth in response.

When they emerged, Jiang Heng, covering his mouth, glared at Shen Huaizhi with a hint of frustration.

Embarrassingly, he had almost fainted from lack of oxygen and was eventually carried out of the pool by Shen Huaizhi.

He Ci and Chen Xingchi had been waiting in the lounge. Seeing Jiang Heng’s pitiful state, He Ci clicked his tongue and said, “The hot spring can be quite stimulating.”

Chen Xingchi shook his head, looking at Shen Huaizhi with a gaze that seemed to consider him a beast, “No wonder you left halfway through the soak.”

Shen Huaizhi glanced at them indifferently and, unusually, spoke up to refute, “That’s not it.”

“It’s because you two talked too much,” Chen Xingchi commented.

Shen Huaizhi’s obvious defense earned a few more clicks of the tongue from He Ci and Chen Xingchi.

Jiang Heng, with his eyebrows furrowed, shot several glares at the two until they finally fell silent.

While they were talking, more people emerged from the hot spring room.

The leading man, dressed in a white shirt with slightly damp shoulders, was tall and imposing. Upon seeing Jiang Heng and the others still sitting there, his eyes brightened slightly. After giving some instructions to those around him, he walked straight toward them.

“He Ci, that fool, just climbed out of the pool and almost fell again. Thankfully, I caught him,” Chen Xingchi was saying with enthusiasm when he was abruptly interrupted.

The man approached with a warm smile, but his presence exuded the undeniable aura of an adult Alpha, which seemed to intentionally exert pressure.

Both He Ci and Chen Xingchi, also Alphas, felt somewhat uncomfortable and frowned slightly.

Jiang Heng, however, didn’t seem to be affected. He was still tilted back, letting Shen Huaizhi apply a bandage to the corner of his mouth.

He glanced at the man briefly and found him somewhat familiar. He seemed to be the same person surrounded by others in the lobby earlier.

Seeing that no one was responding to him, the man was not at all embarrassed and directly stated his purpose, “Could I get a contact number?”

As he spoke, his gaze was fixed on Shen Huaizhi.

Being an adult Alpha, he did not hide the desire in his eyes when looking at Shen Huaizhi.

Jiang Heng moved his head slightly, puzzled.

Shen Huaizhi seemed to not notice and instructed, “Don’t move, it’s torn.”

Jiang Heng hissed, “Who bit me?”

Shen Huaizhi, showing a hint of a smile, admitted without any embarrassment, “I did.”

Seeing that they ignored him, the man’s displeasure was evident, though he still tried to keep his composure.

He liked younger men, whether Omega, Alpha, or Beta, as long as they suited his taste. Being wealthy and powerful, he was rarely met with disobedience.

Today, he had come to the villa to relax, but he unexpectedly encountered someone who met his aesthetic preferences—an Alpha no less.

This unexpectedly stirred his desire for conquest.

Seeing the man still lingering, Jiang Heng furrowed his brow, feeling a bit uncomfortable—the kind of discomfort that comes from having one’s own person being eyed by someone else.

Jiang Heng blinked, “Uncle, who are you asking about?”

The term “Uncle” made the man pause, his brows furrowing.

“It seems like there aren’t any suitable targets for your age here.”

After Jiang Heng said this, Shen Huaizhi touched the wound at the corner of his mouth and turned away.

The man, who was initially angry, had his emotions quickly subdued upon seeing Shen Huaizhi’s calm face. He ignored Jiang Heng entirely and focused his gaze directly on Shen Huaizhi, “May I ask your name?”

Shen Huaizhi raised his eyelids, reaching out a hand toward Jiang Heng, “Let’s go.”

Jiang Heng replied with an “Oh” and thought about mocking the man a bit more but decided against it. After all, causing trouble here would likely ruin their rest.

Fortunately, the man didn’t pursue them further.

Once they had walked away and the pressure was finally off, Chen Xingchi exhaled, “No wonder, I thought he kept staring at us since we first entered the hot spring.”

“It’s not even safe to be an Alpha these days,” Chen Xingchi couldn’t help but comment.

Hearing this, Jiang Heng grew increasingly displeased, with a possessive feeling lingering in his mind. He looked back and saw that the man was still standing in the same spot, seemingly watching them leave.

This realization made Jiang Heng feel an urge to confront the man. Compared to Shen Huaizhi, this person seemed truly perverted. Older and still wanting to pursue younger people—what a joke.

Noticing Jiang Heng’s reaction, Shen Huaizhi held the back of his head, “It’s fine. He won’t dare do anything.”

Shen Huaizhi wasn’t unfamiliar with such situations and usually chose to ignore them.

Even though he was comforting Jiang Heng, he remained cautious.

The four of them returned to their room and began playing cards, with Shen Huaizhi and Jiang Heng taking turns. Although Jiang Heng wasn’t great at games, he was quite good at cards, winning the most over several hours.

Eventually, Jiang Heng was the first to fall asleep. After adjusting his routine, staying up late had become particularly difficult for him.

He Ci and Chen Xingchi, with their faces painted with patterns, pointed to Jiang Heng sleeping on Shen Huaizhi’s shoulder and quietly said goodnight before gently closing the door and heading to their own room.

Once they were gone, Shen Huaizhi looked at the person asleep on his arm with a bit of helplessness. He could vaguely hear Jiang Heng mumbling things like, “Shen Huaizhi, you’re mine,” and “You’re my dog.”

At first, Shen Huaizhi didn’t catch it clearly, but once he did, he couldn’t help but laugh.

It seemed Jiang Heng was quite bothered by the man who had tried to hit on him that evening. This realization also brought Shen Huaizhi a sense of satisfaction.

It turned out Jiang Heng had quite a strong sense of possessiveness towards him.

After carrying his long-limbed Omega back to bed, Shen Huaizhi kissed Jiang Heng’s forehead before heading to the bathroom to make a phone call.

The next morning, Jiang Heng was woken by the doorbell.

When he woke up, he could hear water running in the bathroom.

Jiang Heng touched the spot on the bed where Shen Huaizhi had been lying; it was still warm, and Shen Huaizhi’s clothes were piled up next to him.

This made Jiang Heng feel a bit happy.

However, the doorbell was far from pleasant. With a scowl on his face, he went to answer the door, already planning to give He Ci and Chen Xingchi a piece of his mind.

When he opened the door, before he could even say a word, the strong scent of flowers hit his nose.

Then he saw a face that immediately made him dislike the person.
