The Star City was very bright and beautiful during the night. Many pedestrians were walking on the roadside, some were couples, some were friends, there was even a family of three walking along the road. The night in Star City seemed to be very lively.

Inside one of the private rooms in a famous five-star restaurant, sat five people around the table with three young men and two young women. The three men were undoubtedly alphas at a glance while the two women were omegas.

One of the women wore silver rim glasses, she pushed her glasses up and said, “A-Hang calling us to gather here today, there must be good news for us right?”

Tang Yuhang, the eldest young master of the Tang Family was still wearing a military uniform at this moment. He had a serious expression on his face, no matter what the topic was, Tang Yuhang would always have this serious type of expression, which everyone could immediately understand that this man was very serious in everything.

Tang Yuhang nodded as he passed the golden invitation to his friends one by one. Even though his face was still serious, his eyes seemed to be smiling at this moment. “I’ll be getting married this month, hoping that all of you will attend.”

The people sitting around the table were all the young masters and young misses of the five big families. The woman with silver rim glasses cut a piece of steak and put it in her mouth before chewing slowly. She was the eldest miss of the Yue Family, Yue Lan. She was currently the chief of the White Tower, a place where almost all scientific researchers dream about. During this action, she also responded with interest, “Oh, congratulations. Seems like Xiao Ya is indeed capable enough to capture Mr. Serious’s heart.”

Mr.Serious was Tang Yuhang’s nickname. Because this man had always been serious, thus they sometimes joked and called him Mr.Serious.

The other woman had short hair, she wore a white shirt with a black short straight skirt. She was the eldest miss of the Baili Family, Baili Jiuning, and was the most famous young female omega doctor in the Star Empire. She took a sip of water and smiled. “I’m wondering how Mr.Serious proposed to Xiao Ya?”

Hearing this question, Tang Yuhang, who had just drunk beer, was choked. Zhang Gushen laughed out loud, attracting the people at the table. The other young man asked impatiently, “Hey, hurry up and spit it out. I really want to know!”

This impatient guy was the eldest young master of the Nangong Family, Nangong Fuqiang. He was the current Instructor Fu of the Military Department in Twilight University, also ranked as Major in the Military.

Nangong Fuqiang became more impatient. “What?”

“Sister Lan, take good care of your little brother, or else he might eat clean by this impatient dog in the future.” Zhang Gushen shrugged, “I’m just talking nonsense, don’t take it seriously.”

Tang Yuhang coughed, interrupting the two people. “That’s enough, stop arguing. I’m calling everyone here to celebrate happily, not quarreling endlessly like this.”

Both Nangong Fuqiang and Yue Lan withdrew their eyes, and continued eating their food silently as if nothing had happened. However, Zhang Gushen still noticed that the impatient dog beside him seemed to be lifeless in an instant, and his usual fast behavior also slowed down by half as if he was absent-minded.

Nangong Fuqiang sighed. “I see.”

Baili Jiuning took the tissue and wiped her mouth. Yet, she still didn’t forget what she had said earlier. “A-Hang, please tell us the process of how you propose to her.”

Mentioning this topic, everyone suddenly became interested. Yue Lan also asked, “Where did you propose to her?”

Zhang Gushen began to laugh again.

Tang Yuhang’s serious expression cracked at this moment, and was replaced with a sense of helplessness. “Her clinic.”

Everyone looked at him with puzzlement.

Baili Jiuning felt strange. “Xiao Ya’s clinic? I think this isn’t the best place.”

Tang Yuhang nodded and sighed lightly. “Of course, it isn’t but what can I do?”

Everyone nodded.

After the laughter died down, Baili Jiuning remembered the interesting news that she had just heard. “A-Shen, how is it going between you and Xiao Liang?”

Zhang Gushen subconsciously sat up straight. “Sister Ning, what do you mean…”

On the other hand, Yue Lan was surprised upon seeing Zhang Gushen’s reaction. “No way? You shouldn’t have forgotten that you already have an engagement with Xiao Liang?”

Zhang Gushen’s face became complicated. “No, I didn’t forget.” He indeed almost forgot about this.

Baili Jiuning rested her chin on one of her palms. “So how is it going now? Have you two met?”

Zhang Gushen shook his head. “No, I’ve been too busy recently, and besides, I think this little guy might not want to meet me, after all, he rarely appears in public, so I have never seen him.”

As Tang Yuliang’s eldest brother, Tang Yuhang said, “Oh, I have to tell everyone that Xiao Liang had been in Minsheng University for about two years already.”

Tang Yuhang nodded along with her. “Xiao Liang did the same, he said it’s too troublesome if many people know about his identity.”

The three people finally found the topic to talk about but the protagonist of the topic suddenly became silent, making them feel unusual and couldn’t help looking at him. What they saw was Zhang Gushen staring at his communicator and smiling.

Nangong Fuqiang seized this opportunity to kick Zhang Gushen’s chair. Hence, the other party immediately raised his head and came across with many pairs of eyes looking at him curiously.

Zhang Gushen cleared his throat and said solemnly to everyone, “About the engagement…I already have someone I’m interested in.”
